The room was giving the impression, that it is there, ready for everything, but fucking nobody is ever here – which is not entirely true, because Fuyumi did try to live there – unfortunately despite her best efforts it was still cold as the relationships in his fire – ice family.
Enji was confused. He just did not understand, what he just saw with his very own eyas. Bloody Sport festival got under his skin like a needle under his nail. To be clear, he was not angry, that his born-to-be-number-one-hero-son in the end lost. Yes, it was irritating, because the boy was just stupidly stubborn, to be honest. Enji did not like stupid. Enji did not like stubborn either, but hey, he has some self-reflection and genetic is genetic, what can you do.
No, what was making Enji crazy, was what happened after the final match. And no, we are not talking about the absurd ceremony with chained winner – in the end, he can understand, from where is the boy coming from. No, he is destroyed after the conversation he had in front of the building with Bakugou's parents.
You know, Enji was a staunch supporter of quirks genetic development. The loud kid, Bakugou, has an extremely useful, powerful top hero quality quirk. So, naturally, he concluded, that his parents will be something extra. Maybe a little bit like himself – the man did not look like he married the scary (but extremely attractive) woman. Their quirks must be something extra too – so he thought. Maybe there will be someone to talk to about these kinds of things! What kind of training did they use? Is he a first attempt? Or did they have to try repeatedly like he and his wife? He was on an edge.
Universe hates him. The kid, whose quirk can totally compete with his master work, is nothing but a fucking fluke. Like what the fuck. Glycerin to keep your skin moisturized and some acidic sweat when you rub your hand together really hard? These leads to the boy, who won the Sport festival AND defeated his son? He sacrifices EVERYTHING to achieve the perfect quirk. His wife, his kids, his whole family – and they just happened to have the perfect kid? Ok, perfect is so fare from true, because the attitude of the boy was unacceptable, but you see – they have the perfect tool, and they spoil it. Just imagine, what could have the boy be, if he has his upbringing!
He is done.
He is so much done.
This is just too much.
Where is the sake he was given? He needs to calm down his nerves. Shoto will be home soon (hopefully) and they need to have a conversation.
