Dragonic Blade

Summary:
How a middle-schooler went from being a Shadowverse beginner to cutting God out of the sky in no span at all.
"Your next turn won't come!"
The weight of the golden sword disappears in Hiro's hands. Although he'd triggered each of Ultimate Legend Dragon's effects this turn, he didn't actually use Dragonic Blade till now. He saved the best of the eighth legendary card's abilities for last.
Kazuki is standing behind Hiro, as are all those who got him this far: Mimori, Luca, Alice, Kai, and Mauro.
Hiro holds it high. The weapon his connection to Kazuki left him! Dragonic Blade's Overflow spreads as pure flame over his body, armouring him like Ultimate Legend Dragon and turning him into a flying warrior.
It pulses and Hiro can hear his and Kazuki's hearts beat. Kazuki's blood is rushing through the sword's hilt, through Hiro's fingers, and into his veins.
His best friend would stick by him through anything. He loved that about him. He loved him, and in that moment, through the Dragonic Blade, Kazuki sensed Hiro loved him and stuck by him because he loved Hiro too.
With a heroic charge, Hiro attacks the enemy leader, slicing Leon up the middle and clipping his wings. The armour makes Hiro feel indestructible. He can hear Alice remarking somewhat inappropriately (though perhaps not oddly considering her Necromancy) in the back of his head: Oniichan, way to defeat God with big dick energy!
Leon tried to make him hate him (and almost succeeded). Instead, Hiro will love.
He won't fall to the same despair that darkened his father. Eiji was pulled to the Tree of Woe's side, but his son would wake everyone up.
He'll love everyone he's battled.
He'll love the bonds they've formed through the game.
He'll love the world, flawed as it is, and reject the false, lonely world of "peace" Leon's created.
He'll love his parents, who got sucked into Leon's selfish Nexus Plan.
He'll love Kazuki.
Because – say Hello Hello Hello Hello, you saw this coming – Shadowverse is fun!
