Dean wanted to hate him. But he couldn't. He knew why he pushed Jack away, he saw himself in the kid. Jack sacrificed himself for his family. Just like Dean when he made that deal for Sam. Or John's for Dean's life. Jack was a true Winchester.

He had to wait till Jack was alone. He wanted to tell Jack the truth.

Knock knock.

"Come in." When Jack saw Dean walking in, he stiffened. "What's up?" He was startled when he saw Dean looking nervous.

"Jack? We need to talk."

"Okay." Jack put down his book.

"Jack, I know you feel guilty for everything. But everything you did, it wasn't all your fault."

"What are you saying?" Jack was confused.

Dean looked away in shame.

"You were just a baby. Sam and I, we treated you like shit. Especially me. Instead of guiding you, we used you." Dean remembers calling him an can opener, a gopher, and treating him like a burden. Sam, Cas, they treated him like a son. Dean, not so much. Then that Mal'ak Box. Dean's face was hot. "Jack, you deserve better than us. If you want to leave, I don't blame you. I'll give you money to start over."

Jack didn't expect that from Dean. Dean wouldn't look at him. Jack, he knew Dean truly forgiven him.

"Mary..."

"Don't. Mom, she always knew. She is happy with Dad. That's all she ever wanted." Castiel said she is truly at peace with John.

What Dean didn't expect was Jack's hug.

"There is nothing to forgive. Dean, you shouldn't be so hard on yourself." Dean smiled ruefully.

"Thanks Jack." He was about to leave when Jack asked him to stop.

"What is it?"

"I can't sleep."

"Sure kid."

Sam was wondering where Dean was. He thought he was out, but the Impala was here. He was about to say goodnight to Jack when he saw Jack's door slightly open. Before he shut it, he saw Dean holding Jack in his arms sleeping away. Sam smiled, Dean did the same thing to him whenever he had a nightmare.

"Goodnight Dean. Goodnight Jack." Sam softly closes the door.
