Geri looked up from the glass she was cleaning to find Emily holding her camera. She blew out a breath and glared at her. "You don't need records of every moment," she reminded her with a laugh.

"You love it," a grinning Emily shot back. She opened the bar hatch and snapped a quick picture of Geri.

Geri pulled Emily closer to her and sized her up. Emiy's breath hitched. "You're beautiful, you know that, Emily?"

"As you remind me all the time, and right back at you." Her eyes twinkled. "You know, I was just thinking about how I told Cordi all those years ago that I'd marry you if he died." As always, Emily ached at the reminder of her husband but she temporarily banished the grief.

Geri raised her eyebrows. "You proposin'? Is this a proposal, Ms. Walker?"

Emily leaned in and quickly kissed her. "If you want it to be," she responded.

"How romantic," Geri deadpanned. But she squeezed her girlfriend's hand and nodded. "Yeah, I'll marry you."

Emily squealed and kissed her again. "The kids are going to be so excited." She couldn't wait to tell them.

They married at City Hall only days later.
