One moment Visha and I were enjoying some wine in our runaway vacation when we went to sleep that night we woke up in an alleyway that was well lit, very well lit more than any alley way I've seen in New Jersey or New Amsterdam. For a moment we were confused on what to do in this situation till we heard footsteps and talking.
"Well it looks like it's another uneventful night,"
"It's at least better than doing nothing other than standing around doing nothing in but stand acting as guard job in the club,"
"Stop complaining we don't get paid to complain about orders,"
The duo of patrol guards rounded the corner when they just finished their conversation, they noticed the
"Hey you two! What you're doing here you're on private property," one of the men said while pointing at the two girls.
This caused Tanya to jump in front of Visha. She was about to pull out her gun till she stopped herself, well Tanya had no weapons on her anyways so it was a waste of time. The two men responded by doing the same but when they realized that the girl in front of them stopped herself they stopped to prevent the situation from escalating.
"Alright explain yourself why are loitering around on private property?" One that asked the same question from before.
"I don't know where I am, sir," Tanya responded to the man.
'If they shoot I could probably dodge his shot and take one of them down and Visha could take the other as we have both our military and civilian grade orbs on us just in case Interpol finds out where we were and we needed to shoot our way out. But this situation is different we did not plan for,'
Tanya then activated a short ranged communication spell "Vish I will try to diffuse the situation if I can. If they shoot I want you to take down the one on the right I will take down the one that's asking the question, that's if they shoot!' She telepathically said to her partner.
Tanya got a telepathic 'yes ma'am,' Tanya then deactivated the spell after figuring out what to say to the two men in red suits.
One of the two men said "Are you sure you don't know where you are because you're in Vale's industrial district," said the man in red.
"Vale never heard of it," Tanya said.
This made the man become intrigued till he pulled out something that was similar to a smartphone and began talking into it.
Tanya couldn't hear what the person on the other side said but going off of the man's expression it was clear he was getting orders.
After a few more minutes of waiting the man with the phone finally got off "Alright the boss wants to see you and he will decide what happens to you two Faunus," the man said. This confused Tanya and Visha.
"Excuse me what did you call me?" Tanya said.
"You're a Faunus miss right. Going off of the wolf lor fox like ears on your head Is oils say your a Faunus. Do you know what a Faunus is?" The man that started this conversation said.
"I don't understand but I'm pretty sure your boss could explain it better than you can, am I correct?" Tanya said.
"Just follow us inside to the club," the man said. We followed him as he asked us if we didn't want to start a fight with those two even if they were just mall cops they could have training in hand to hand combat.
After walking for what I guessed to be for a few minutes they finally arrived at a old brick building that has seen better days but it seems to have been renovated as a club from Tanya's previous life although she hadn't been to one in real life she's seen them in American TV shows the salaryman a he once was used to watch every once in a while.
When they entered the club Tanya noticed that the door opened automatically which caused Visha to jump but she went through it anyway to not fall behind. It had arched windows lining the walls letting some moonlight in but was mostly being out shined? By the disco lights that were dancing all over the floor. There was a staircase leading to the dance floor. Above the dance floor on the ceiling was a rotating rig of light, lasers that look expensive as hell even by 21st century standards, along with holographic projectors judging by its transparency.
They walked down said staircase and headed left to a long bar on the left side of the dance floor.
The guards stopped in front of a man with a black vest with a white dress shirt, he had a red tie with black tie along with black dress pants. He had gray eyes with short black hair and a matching pair of mustache and beard.
Said man was flanked by two teenage girls one was white and the other was red.
The white clothed girl had long black hair, with a straight fringed that was above her eyebrows. The girl had pale green eyes, she also had heavy cyan makeup above her eyes as well. Her white dress strapless apparently, it then changes cyan towards her skirt. Her skirt was cyan, it has a cyan layered feathery like tulle that hangs lower than a dress. She had a pair of high thigh boots that had red lacing detailing aged boots. The girls blades are fitted to the rear of her boot connecting to her heels. There were twin silver chains that run from the back of the boots connecting to what seems to be an armored layer piece in the front of her boots. There were also cyan stocking underneath her boots from what I could see, it had lace-trimmed tops that poke above the boots. The girl also sports a pair of white forearm length gloves with a cyan lace detail running from wrist to forearm it was accompanied with a silver vambrace on her left forearm.
She also wears a white belt around her waist that has twin silver chains on the front alongside a cyan gemstone in the centre with a pair of cyan feather-like wings extended from the back. Her accessories also include a white flower-shaped hairpin above her left ear, along with a white feather scarf with two short red feathers surrounding a long cyan feather on the left side. She also sports a silver pauldron on her left shoulder.
The red one also appeared to be a teenager. She had short black bob styled hair with a straight fringe and pale green eyes, highlighted by heavy red makeup. The girl also wears a red strapless dress that appears to be patterned with newspaper articles with the words "A New York la pop art di Alborghetti".
Her dress has black and dark red lace layered tulle that hangs down more than the dress. She also has an off centred bow belt around her waist. She wears a pair of red thigh-high boots with black heels and soles alongside white lace-up detail.
A twin silver chain runs round from the back of her boots connecting to what appears to be also armored plating on the front of her boots. She wears lacy black stockings that also peek out over the top of her boots accompanied by black garter straps.
The girl also wears a pair of black fingerless forearm length gloves with red lining around the tips of the fingers. Her gloves sport a newspaper design similar to her dress running from the backs of her hands to her forearms with a light brown frill trim peeking out of the ends. There also appears to be some sort of knuckle brass on her gloves but judging from the openings it must be some sort of claws.
She to wears accessories they include with what appears to be a large long wing-like red feather and two short white feathers above her left ear and a short black fur shrug held by four beaded chains with what appears to be a white gemstone in the centre.
One of the guards went up to the man and whispered something to him.
The man turned around when Tanya finished analyzing the two girls. He said "I'm Hei Xiong, you can call me Junior" The man introduced himself.
Held out his hand for a handshake Tanya took it. She responded "The names Tanya von Degurechaff,"
Junior continued his questions "So you're the duo that my henchmen found in an alleyway, from what I'm told you didn't know how you got there?" The man questioning the two fugitives.
Tanya stepped up and spoke "Yes we don't know how we got to that alleyway," Tanya said.
This caught his attention "Let's head to my office its more quiet and continue talking there" Visha took a glance at Tanya but didn't question.
The pair followed Junior to his office. They went up a flight of stairs and entered a room with file cabinets even at first glance so thought he was just the manager but in actuality he owns the place.
"You explain to me what you do know? Degurechaff," the man said.
I ended up explaining everything I know well keeping the fact hidden that I'm a wanted war criminal and a child soldier wh raise entire cities. I only told him about my hide away resort and only that.
After I finished explaining myself he then told me where we were. Apparently we were in the kingdom of Vale. In a world called remnant. He told me about the creatures of Grimm that feed on negativity, a very peculiar thing called aura that's similar to magic but can't turn bullets into artillery but does protect you from damage and can heal wounds over time.
There's also dust; it's what powers this world from their factories to their cars; they even use it in their weaponry. It was a very different world.
Then came the topic of Faunus he called me a Faunus they're people with 1 or more animal like traits. But most Faunus will only have one animal-like trait. They're discriminated against for being merely different. He told me you can get more information on the world from the CCTV tower.
And onto the topic of the CCTV tower it's what allows the kingdoms to communicate with each other it's basically the internet or more specifically the satellite network around the earth in more previous life.
When we were about to get done with this conversation Junior asked me something.
"Do you want to work here, as you know you don't have access to your money anymore," Junior said.
This caught me off guard but I quickly responded "Let me talk this over with Viktoryia if you don't mind," I responded quickly.
"I see," he then sent me and visha off to our room with henchmen to show us our rooms to decide on whether or not we should join him. After a calm debate between me and Visha, we both agreed we should work at Juniors club although we agreed it had to be under contract so he doesn't stab us in the back. After a few hour of writing a contract they were ready.
After telling Junior's henchmen we were ready to make a decision. They then took us to Juniors office. He was already waiting.
"So have you made a decision yet Tanya?" Junior said.
"Yes, we have we accept your proposal,"
"That's good-"
Tanya cut him off " But we want under contract so you can't use underhanded tactics to sell us out," Tanya said all the while bringing out a paper they wrote for a few hours.
This caught Junior off by surprise but Tanya said "If you sign to this contract we both will give our most best at the club giving customers the most best service possible,"
"I see," he found a pen and signed it "How did you produce this contract anyways?" Junior asked.
"Don't ask," Tanya said.
"I see," Junior said.
Tanya nw has a job at Juniors club.
