(2nd of May, 2020 notes)

Another day, another story, another shitty inconsistent schedules, another one of Dimiel's whims.

Ah, such is life don't ya think?

What I have you here is probably the greatest and the worst mistake I've ever committed: adapting a goddamn male reader fanfic. But please trust me on this one, you'll like it.

When you go through agonizing, intense pain (both physically and emotionally) that puts you somewhere in between death and near death which is to say, as painful as reading male reader fanfics or reader fanfics in general, you'd start appreciate some actual "decent" ones and by that, I mean something that's actually good and has a real plot. At first, it feels as though I was receiving cancer on a daily basis while losing every bits of my brain cells each word I read on certain reader fanfics. I was losing my chemical happiness to the point of near nonexistent...which can also be called as:

dEPprESSioN.

But then this fanfic in Wattpad came in and surprised me. Oh, it very well surprised me. And the further I read it, the further I was sucked into the story as it was greatly entertaining to me.

And so, with kdog2201's permission, I will be making an adaption to his fanfic into this website which has bloodthirsty people crawling about. Of course, this story won't be a male reader story due to FanFiction's laws and regulations and it will be changed into a Powerful!OC x RWBY. And no, it's not a harem (I think) and it won't be as much as the wish-fulfillment fanfics (I think also).

Alright, enough talking - I'm sure you guys are tired of me now.

Well then, enjoy.

Oh and fair warning, the dialogue used in this fanfic will be different. You'd have to get used to it if you want to enjoy the story.

(10th of April, 2021 notes)

Tl;dr: This fanfic is the biggest middle finger there is to the whole OP!Reader/OC fanfic I have ever seen because the main character feels more like an actual character rather than a damn self-insert compare to the things I've read. Also, don't judge this too much as this may also surprise you but keep your expectations low.

Prelude:

"Champion of Worlds, Uncounted"

If one word was to describe how he is feeling right now, it would be "exhausted".

For what seems to be eternity, he found himself thrust into different worlds-often against his will. Each one were varied wildly but most of the time he'd end up in a place where he is a "summoned hero" and he would have to go on a "grand quest" to save the world. A "grand quest" that should've taken years-or perhaps even decades but Kay usually done them in less than three days...sometimes even in a matter of hours.

Currently at the moment, Kay Readers was staring blankly off to the horizon while he sat above a brutalized corpse of a massive creature. It would be most likely make sense to actually figure out what he had killed but Kay was far too tired to look. But he was pretty sure he was sitting atop of its head.

Princess Lumara: "Oh great Hero! Thank you for saving our world from the wrath of the Evil God!"

From below where Kay was sitting, a young Elven woman approached. Kay glances at the Elf and then stared back into the horizon.

Kay: "Yeah..."

Princess Lumara: "It is thanks to your efforts that our world has finally obtained peace!"

Kay wasn't really paying attention, it is not because what the princess was saying is wrong or that he was being rude-no. It's because he's heard this speech more times than he'd like to admit.

As the princess goes on with her speech, Kay slumped onto his side and wished he was somewhere else.

The patchwork armor that Kay stitched together was tattered, beaten and seemed like it was falling apart, a sign of the sheer number of battles he'd been through. Just from the looks of it, anyone who are veteran at battles knows how much tale behind it.

Princess Lumara: "If there is anything that I can do to reward you; please, do not hesitate to ask."

Still lying on the enormous corpse, Kay rolled onto his back and responded with a tired tone.

Kay: "I wanna go home please..."

Princess Lumara: "Y-You'd like to leave!?"

Kay: "Yes, today please."

She was taken aback by his casual reply as well as the time he'd pick for his return. That just came out of nowhere.

Princess Lumara: "T-Today!? But..."

Lumara gave it a thought, she did promised him that she would do anything to reward, and not hesitate to ask and he did just that. Questioning his decision is a contradiction to what she had stated. She let out a sigh and nodded, decided to do the right thing.

Princess Lumara: "Okay then. I'm sure our wizard can help you with that..."

A few hours later,

The Palace Summoning Castle

Kay stood in the center of a mystical circle - still looking incredibly tired while the wizard the princess mentioned was channelling his mana to power up the circle.

Kay: "The first thing I'm gonna do when I get home is shower, then I'm going to sleep, and never wake up again (-_-)..."

Kay was happily imagining the things he'd do once he finally got back to his home on Earth, his Earth. As he did so, the princess who noticed his enthusiastic behavior quietly spoke to the wizard.

Princess Lumara: "He seemed...happy that he's leaving..."

The wizard raises his eyebrows while still continuing to channel the mana with a wise look to his face.

The Grand Wizard: "Hm? It would seem so."

Lumara sighed, the wizard seemingly agreed to her assumption and that causes her to be somewhat frustrated and at the same time, worried with the Hero's conditions and treatments during his time here.

Princess Lumara: "Were we that bad with him?"

The Grand Wizard: "Do not take it personally, princess. When I first summoned him a few days ago, the face he made when he got here was that of someone who was exhausted of battles."

Lumara's eyes immediately widened, she just heard of this!

Princess Lumara: "Wait, he was summoned a few days ago!? I thought he had been here for years!"

The Grand Wizard: "Indeed. After I summoned him, I explained out situation and assumed it would take him years before he can defeat the Evil God but instead, he did it in a matter of days."

Princess Lumara: "W-Wow...that's incredible."

The princess looked back at the exhausted Hero whom had successfully saved their world (effortlessly). To say she was surprised would undeniably be an understatement. She really thought that Kay had been on his journey for years and to find out that he had managed to accomplish something what generations of Heroes failed to achieve in a mere few days was a serious wake up call to her.

The princess now sees Kay in an entirely new light and while she was still surprised that he was leaving too soon, her real thoughts were;

Princess Lumara: 'Just who exactly are you...?'

As she finishes her question in her thoughts, so did the wizard with his magic channeling. The magic circle glowed and bubbles of mana started to form inside the circle and began spiraling upwards slowly with the Hero in the middle.

The Grand Wizard: "Ah, there we go! Alright, everything set and ready. Are you prepared, Kay?"

Kay Readers: "(-_-) Yes, please send me home now..."

The Grand Wizard nodded and the magic circle started to glow brighter and brighter. In a flash of light, Kay was gone, sent back to his home world. Everything was going back to normal. As he was gone, the princess heaved out a sigh.

Princess Lumara: "Haa...it would've been nice if he had stayed."

In agreement, the wizard let out a hearty laugh.

The Grand Wizard: "Hahahahaha! It most certainly would have indeed! Now, let us go my lady. We have so much work to do, so much paper to sort."

Kay found himself soaring through a large tunnel of light, it resembles the insides of earth worm except it glows in random colors.

Kay Readers: 'Ugh, it's finally over. I can finally go home and start thinking about moving on from this thing. Haa...I gotta start looking for any schools to finish my education...'

As Kay flew through the tunnel of light, the whole tube shook as black bolts of electricity began to shoot out from the walls.

Kay Readers: "What the-!? Ow, ow, ow, ow, OW! YEOWCH! The HELL is going on!?"

The light in the tube began to fade and change to dark as the electricity became more and more intense. Ricocheting Kay around the tube.

Kay Readers: "Ow! Ow! Why!? (Q_Q)"

Eventually a bright light filled the tube and before Kay knew it, he was engulfed in a huge explosion.

Some Time Later

The wilderness...?

Kay Readers: "Ow, ow, ow..."

After the explosion, Kay found himself face down in dirt.

Kay Readers: "Haa, one of the reasons why I hate dimension hopping..."

Slowly, Kay picked himself up off the ground and gathered his bearings. Wherever he landed, it was well into the night. The signs being the cool air, the lack of light that surrounds him and the faint sound of crickets. Fortunately for him, it wasn't pitch black as there was just enough moonlight for him to see.

Kay Readers: "Ugh, I feel like I was put through a meat grinder...again."

Kay rubbed his eyes and when they finally adjusted to the darkness, he noticed that he was in a large crater. The crater itself wasn't too deep that Kay couldn't see over it but the area in and around it was completely burnt.

Kay Readers: "Oh crap...I guess that's my fault..."

Looking around more closely, Kay noticed that the scorched ground he created was at least one-hundred yards in diameter. Luckily for him, he landed it what looked like a forest as evident by the trees around him.

Kay Readers: "Thank god I didn't land in a city..." He stretches, popping some bones on the way. "Now I just need to find out, where on Earth...I...am...?"

As Kay was stretching, he looked up and spotted the moon...or rather, the remnants of it. His eyes were greeted by a sight of a shattered moon which is, to be fair, quite a rare sight for him.

Kay Readers: "(._.) The fuck happened to the moon...?"

As Kay was processing what he was looking at, he heard a growl coming from the tree lines. When he looked at the source of the noise, Kay noticed he was encircled by jet black creatures that resembled different animals. Each had white spikes protruding from their backs and sinister red glowing eyes.

Kay Readers: "(._.) The fuck happened to the animals...?"

Slowly, more and more of these monstrosities began to emerge from the treeline; some resembling wolfs, some do giant snakes, scorpions, spiders and the like.

Kay Readers: "Oh hell no! I better not be in another hell dimension! I drew the line with those demon cows in the last one!"

As Kay was complaining to himself, what once seemed like a small group of these strange creatures quickly became an enormous swarms. Gradually, more and more creatures kept emerging from the tree line just outside of the scorched circle, all of them slowly approaching Kay.

Kay Readers: 'Wait a minute, what if these are the people who inhabit this world?'

Kay looked back up at the horrifying forms of creatures approaching him. They don't really look friendly but he knows not to make his decisions based on appearances.

Kay Readers: 'Maybe they're friendly? They're probably just scared that a strange person blew up a part of the forest! I can't judge a book by its cover! Just because they look frightening doesn't necessarily mean they're evil!'

Kay rose to his feet and straightened himself out and looked at the nearest creature within his radius.

Kay Readers: "Ahem! Hello and good day! My name is Kay Readers and I come in peace!"

The creature that Kay was speaking to had the appearance of a huge bear but was covered in huge white spikes like the others. It didn't react to Kay's words and continued to slowly approach him.

Kay Readers: 'Hmmm... maybe there's a language barrier? Well then... what about a gesture of good will?'

Kay opened his hand and stuck his arm out in a motion to shake hands. The creature, now a mere few feet from Kay looked at his hand.

Kay Readers: "Um...friends?"

Kay looked hopefully at the huge bear, who responded by lunging at Kay biting his hand and and part of his arm.

Kay Readers: "(._.)..."

It took seconds for him to process what just happened until it finally hit him.

Kay Readers: "AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHH!"

With a resounding roar, Kay's scream was muffled out as he was swarmed by the army of creatures that had appeared from the woods.

Specifically, 2 minutes and 23 seconds later...

Kay Readers: "Well, that was traumatizing..."

Kay was walking away from the large crater, shaking off the leftover drool that was still on his arm.

Kay Readers: "Eugh...gross! Bear drool..."

As he kept walking Kay stumbled upon a dirt road.

Kay Readers: "A...road? A road? A road! Maybe there are people here that aren't horrifying monsters!" Then his mind went back to his old adventures. "God, I hope there are (-_-)..."

Kay turned and began to follow the road, with a hopeful glint in his eye.

Kay Readers: "Hopefully, this place isn't gonna be too crazy..."

Trivia:

His name "Kay Readers" was decided by me and kdog2201 because of; one, Kay is taken from the letter "k" in his name as he is the original author and two, Readers is a reference to how this fanfic is actually a PowerfulM!Reader.

kdog2201's notes:

This shall be my second story! Feel free to leave your opinions and feedback! I'm really excited to be writing this!

This shall also be my first "original story" as in, I won't be following the plot of "RWBY" exactly. I really hope you guys will enjoy my story.

As a side note: Please note as of writing this, "RWBY Volume: 6" Has not yet released. So if there is any mind-blowing thing that happens in that season, I did not know it.

Otherwise, please enjoy my story!

Dimiel's notes:

I did my best in fixing and recreating appropriate grammar composition but I don't want to tarnish it too much from its predecessor. It has its charm, one that I really liked and appreciate so sorry if it doesn't suit your eyes but please do give it a chance. This is actually pretty decent.

Remember, this is comedy-centric fanfic...kind of. If you enjoyed it and want to see the continuation of it, then you can just go straight to Wattpad and type up kdog2201. It should be there.

Recently, I'm not doing well mentally but I will do my best to deliver this decent fanfic to you guys here in FanFiction. Things are getting grim with the original author leaving Wattpad for the time being. Don't know when he'll return but it is most likely that he won't return anytime soon. I just hope he's doing fine...

Thank you for reading and hey, if you drop a fav and a follow, I'd appreciate it.

See ya in the next chapter.
