A/N: I do not own anything you recognize.
Summary:
Agent Grace is now a member of the Avengers, and his wife is not happy in the least.

When the new Avengers member comes in, he comes in sulking. Naturally, Tony asks, affronted, if he's sulking because he does not want to be part of the Avengers.

"No, I do want to be a part of this." He gestures towards everything, "But I need to plan my revenge against Fury for leaving me with the unfortunate task of informing my wife."

"She doesn't like you doing life-threatening stunts?" Natasha caught on.

"Well, no, but she lives with it. What she might be offended by is that she wasn't asked for." Jason Grace explained. "She's kinda crazy like that, but then, the whole family is, so not my place to say anything for fear of getting another saucepan to the head. Besides, I do love her a lot."

"You know, I'm starting to like her more and more," Natasha commented, "Can you keep the phone on speaker." She asked, a mischievous glint entering her eye.

Grace shrugged.

"Hello?" Jason said into the phone.

"Ah, Jason, dear," Perci's voice came in, sickly sweet. He swallowed, if she was using her "Aphrodite-like-voice" he was screwed. "Nico told me you got a new job."

Yep. Definitely screwed over a hundred times.

"You do realize that-" he began his excuse.

"I realize that you're putting your life in danger, and getting public as an Avenger, which is more than what the contract asked for. No response, Mr. Lawyer?" Tony covered his snort with a cough.

"Lia, I-"

"Oh don't you "Lia" me, Jason Julius Grace!" Perci's voice snapped.

Behind, Natasha hid a smirk.

Finally, even Jason lost his patience – he never did like Perci being mad at him, "Fury made me do it! He said I was the "most capable man for the job"!"

"Oh? Someone get him in the Tower, please."

Steve's eyes widened at her knowing where they were.

In the end, after much convincing (threatening from Natasha), Fury was bought in, and made to talk to Mrs. Grace.

"Madam. May I know why I was called here?"

"You gave my husband a life-threatening job without asking me first?" Perci's menacing tone definitely did its work in scaring the Director, though he didn't show it, "Oh you know, his wife – his pregnant wife, might I add."

Wait, what?

"Perci, is this why Thalia, Frank and Hazel were congratulating me yesterday? Why Nico seemed disgruntled at me again? Why Leo winked at me? Come to think of it, everyone was doing something..." then it hit him, "Am I the last to know of this?!" he questioned, disbelief written all over his face.

"Well, yes...I mean, I had to do something, didn't I? You're part of a superhero band without even asking me!"

"Blame Fury!"

Obviously, Fury got chewed out by Perci; see, this is why you don't make a demigod's day unfortunate, Fury. We have our ways, Jason crowed.

A/N: I'm not sure if this came out the way I wanted or expected it to, but hey, I tried my best at this! Anyway, my exams got finished, so I'm back to writing normally and not studying a lot.
