'Bring Harry Potter To Me'

These were the words that made Harry Potter decide what to do. After seeing the memories Severus Snape gave to him on his final breath, Harry knew who- no. What he was. He was a horcrux, which meant Harry had to sacrifice himself to kill Voldemort.

Walking to the outskirts of the forbidden forest, Harry took a deep breath. This was it. No turning back now. Although it was the only way to defeat him, he couldn't help but feel guilty. He had always thought he would go out fighting on the battlefield with his friends around him. But no, he was dying a coward. Turning his back to his friends and allies, leaving them to die while he took the easy way out and submitted himself to the enemy.

Having a sudden idea, Harry took the snitch, the one Dumbledore left him in his will, out of his pocket. He had already read the inscription 'I open at the close' , but never understood it until now. He pressed the cold, hard metal to his lips, and a faint hiss could be heard. Taking it away from his face, Harry looked inside.

The golden ball was hollow, and had an object inside. Poking his finger inside, he found the object to be a small, black stone. The stone was diamond shaped, and smooth. Investigating further, he saw that surface of the stone was engraved with a Circle and line inside a triangle.

The Deathly Hallows

Harry sucked in a breath. This was the resurrection stone, and the third object of a children's bedtime story. But, this particular story was not made up by mothers to put their children to sleep. This was a gruesome story about three brothers, all taken by Death himself. The resurrection stone was the second brothers prize for outsmarting Death. By turning the rock three times in you your hand, you could bring every person you ever loved for that had died, come back to life.

'AVADA KADAVRA'

Harry's head snapped up to the shout. He had forgotten that he was supposed to be going to his death. He quickly got up, dropping the stone on the process. He looked down in alarm, searching for the priceless artifact. He looked everywhere until a second spell was heard and gave up. But what he didn't notice, was that he had turned it thrice in his hand subconsciously before he dropped it.
