By: M14Mouse

Summary: Maddie didn't know how Chip and Vee did it. Why are relationship so hard?

Disclaimer: Don't own them.

My brother requested a Chip/Vida fic for his birthday! HAPPY BIRTHDAY, Bro!

"He is being a jerk."

Madison's heart nearly jumped out of her chest when she heard the familiar voice. She turned around to see Chip staring at her. His head was tilted as he watched her.

She turned back around to watch Nick leave.

"No…he was right."

She heard a snort.

"No, he isn't. I have known you for years. You are one of the strongest people that I know," Chip said as he jumped onto the sofa then he leaned over.

"C-Chip, I know that you are being nice but…."

"I'm not being nice! Okay, semi-nice. You are one of my best friends! Still…I think that you are scare to recall your voice. You are so strong and to see Nick just stomp it down like that," He said sadly.

"I…I…he didn't do anything. I am not scared."

"Then what are you?"

"I…I just don't have anything to say."

She heard a snort behind her. She turned around to see Vee standing nearby.

"You have plenty to say. You look like that you are going to burst."

She blinked in surprise and shifted uncomfortable in place.

"Now, it screams that I really don't really want to be here right now."

"I agree with Vee," Chip added.

"Will you two stop?!"

"We are trying to cheer me up!"

"You can prove Nick wrong. Go to the park and get a hot stud to wave him under his face," Her sister said.

"Well, then I agree with Vee." He said from his perch on the sofa.

"You are only agreeing with you because she is your girlfriend!" She said in a panic.

"And my best friend and your best friend. Yes, I'm agreeing her. All of us know that you are awesome. Nick doesn't and that is his fault."

"Chip is right," Vee said.

Vee beamed over Chip, who started to blush.

"Sis, you are awesome. Why don't you see it?!"

"I…it is hard. How did you two do it?"

"Awkwardly," Vee said with a smile.

"I asked out her with a ring pop but it seemed to have worked," Chip said as he smiled back at Vee.

"I know how you asked her out…" She grumbled to herself. She was there. It was awkward and hilarious all at the same time. It was after a school dance of all things. They have been together for a year and it confused her and everyone. They are so different.

"No…No…this! This!" She said as she waved her hand at the both of them.

They looked at each other.

"We don't try to change each other," Chip said.

"We don't try to force each other to like each other's interests," Vida added.

"Sometimes, we do find that we like each other stuff."

"Those Final Fantasy games grows on you."

"And some of her music isn't too bad."

"We get it that we are a "typical" couple," Her sister said as she made a quotation mark with her fingers.

"Yup. We know that we are different but we know each other. I know Vee wraps herself in a million blankets in the morning."

"Chip doesn't drink coffee. He drinks tea."

"Hey, mom hide the coffee. She says that I don't need any more energy."

"Your mom speaks the truth."

Chip laughed.

"What we are saying is…we are different and that is okay!"

"We also saying that relationships are hard. Finding someone is hard. We got lucky. If Nick isn't it, so what? You will find someone else, who doesn't find you too quiet or whatever Nick said," Her sister added.

She sighed as she stood up from the sofa.

"You're right. I'm going to do this!" She said.

"YES!" Chip cheered.

"Go and get them, man killer!"

"Uhh…not that much."

"No excuses, sis."

She smiled at the pair and look at the door.

She took a deep breath. She was going to do this…no matter what.
