Ash the BoomWing
Ash walked through the hallway of his high school, tucking a black tuft of hair behind his ear and adjusting his shiny crimson-red glasses. He watched his crush, Wick the CandleWing, talk to his friends. If only I could just tell him, Ash thought, clenching his teeth. He walked up to his best friend, Star, and greeted him.
"Did you tell him yet?" Star asked anxiously.
"No," Ash whispered. "It's not the right time yet."
Star groaned exasperatedly. "Just. Tell. HIM." He grabbed Ash´s shoulders and shook them playfully. Ash had always been a nice guy, but unfortunately he could be a pushover. ¨Hey, it´s not like you told Sunflower that you liked her right away,¨ Ash protested. He looked at Star. But the thing was, Star wasn´t looking at Ash. Ash followed Star´s line of vision to look behind him. The first thing Ash saw was a head of ash-blond hair. You´re looking too high, you snail-brained idiot, Ash´s inner voice hissed.
