Inside the Loud house and in Lisa's room, Lisa is busy with an experiment. She's currently mixing two solvents to cause a reaction.
But she has to be careful as the two solvents she has on hand is a bit unstable, so it is imperative that the right dosage amount is applied. Slowly, she tilts the beaker towards the chemical flask...
"Hey Lisa!"
"Gah!" Lisa twitches in response as she poured a drop bigger than needed.
Poof!
As a result, the experiment explodes in Lisa's face. Covering her whole face in soot.
"Ugh. Another experiment ruined." Lisa said upon wiping her face and then turns to the door seeing that it's Lana and Lola. "What do I owe this visit, twin siblings?" Lisa asked.
"Are ready for Tomorrow?" Lola asked.
"Yes. Though I don't see the reason to be prepared on a Sunday."
"It's easter!" The twins both said.
"Ah yes. Easter. Though I don't specially see how this holiday is special to you." Lisa wondered.
"It's because of the Easter bunny, Lisa!" Lana said.
"What?" Lisa said confused.
"The easter bunny!" Lola said as Lola shows a picture of the easter bunny."
"The bunny shows up every easter to place eggs on hiding spots so people can find em. And these that the bunny uses are special since they're a different color like blue and green. Sometimes the eggs have presents inside!" Lana said.
"And because of this, we're going to go hunting for eggs!" Lola finishes.
Lisa looks on, trying to comprehend this. "You seriously believe that's how easter is being celebrated?"
"Yes!" They both say with glee.
"Right..." Lisa nods a bit before she takes a blink a few seconds later. "I don't usually show off human emotions in a exaggerated manner but...pfff Hahahaha!"
Lisa goes as he guffaws leaving the twins to watch on her continued laughter for at least 2 minutes.
As she finishes, she calm down and returns to her neutral pose.
"Sorry, I just find this preposterous."
"What's preposterous?" Lana said.
"The fact that an so called Easter bunny is responsible for delivering multicolored eggs with a wicker basket in multiple hiding spots so children can find it."
"Wait, what are you saying?"
"I'm saying that the easter bunny isn't real."
"Oh he is too." Lola said.
"No he's not." Lisa said back.
"He is too." Lana said.
"He is not." Lisa said.
"He is too!" The twins said.
"The easter bunny isn't real and no amount of quibbling can prove me otherwise." Lisa said.
"He is too and we'll prove it to you." Lana said.
"And how exactly?" Lisa said with hands on her hips.
"We'll..We'll capture the bunny and bring it to you!" Lola said.
"Wait. You're serious?" Lisa asked. They both nod. "Don't make me laugh harder than I need to. You'll just be wasting your time with this inane activity of capturing pure folklore. You'll come back with no results." Lisa scoffed as she returned to her work.
"We'll see about that. Come on, Lana." Lola said exiting the room with Lana in tow.
Finally they close the door leaving her alone.
"Hmph. Good luck." Lisa said.
The twins arrive at Ketchum Park. A perfect place to find the easter bunny as nature and people is abound. They see people searching in bushes and finding colored eggs so the bunny has been here. But the twins know that the easter bunny can't be found in such a public place especially since the eggs are already placed, so they go deep in the forest.
As they go deep in the forest, they find where most of the rabbits go bounce about thanks to Lana's knowledge. Thus they begin the search.
Lola finds one rabbit. It's not it.
Lana finds two rabbits but it's not it..
They find a bunch of rabbits and none of em are it.
All of em look the same. Hopping on all fours, no basket or eggs in sight.
...
The twins then stop by a horde of rabbits, converging about. They quietly go in close to see if they can spot the easter rabbit from the bunch. As they get close, Lola steps on a twig. Upon this sound, the rabbits look at the twins at a brief second and then quickly scatter.
One is left behind and it's a particular bunny with a teal shirt and skirt.
"Hey, maybe this rabbit knows something!" Lana said as she and Lola gets close.
As the bunny recovers, she goes in a panic as she looks around to find out where to go and why they've gone.
"Hey we're looking for the easter bunny." The teal dressed bunny gasps upon seeing Lola's face.
Shaking, she steps back on the other direction. "He carries a basket with eggs, delivering the eggs to people." The rabbit gasps again and see Lana's face.
They then get close until they're both a foot to her face.
"Do you know where he is?" The twins said.
The bunny only squeals as she quickly digs a hole out of their vision. The twins are then left disappointed..
...
"We've searched all of the rabbits we can find and none of them is the easter bunny." Lana said.
"Unbelievable. We came all this way to find nothing." Lola growled and she then sighs. "Maybe Lisa is right, I guess there is no-" Suddenly, Lola is bumped by Lana's frozen state.
"Hey, what gives?" Lola said at a distant Lana.
"Lola. Look." Lana said as she points to the direction. Lola turn and she too gasps in surprise.
This particular bunny has a purple dress vest with a neck bowtie with orange and white polka-dots hopping upright. But what is attention grabbing is what the rabbit is holding in his right hand. It's a wicker basket holding different colored eggs.
Seeing this, they confirm that it's "The Easter Bunny!" they both proclaim.
The easter bunny (his name is Warren) hops about as he stops by a bush. He picks out an egg from his basket and puts it in the bush before hopping forward. As he goes, he stops by another bush. He digs out another egg from the basket and puts it into a bush. He hops forward once more and then stops. This time he is stopped by two six-year old standing in front of him.
"Hey" The rabbit said at the twins. "So, what's up you two?"
"Are you the easter bunny?" Lana said.
"Oh why yes, I am the easter bunny." Warren said as he bowed. "My job is to deliver the easter eggs onto the bushes and other crannies for people to find. These easter eggs right here in this basket."
The twins gasp as it's pretty much confirmed. "Yay! We found the easter bunny!" They cheered as they both danced around each other.
"Congratulations. So you want an autograph?" Warren said.
"No, not an autograph. We want something better." Lola said.
"Like what?"
"Can you come home with us?"
"We want to show you to our little sister to prove that you exist." Lana said.
"Oh! No. No can do." Warren said shaking his head.
"Why not?" The twins both said.
"I got easter eggs to deliver and they need to be delivered today. Any later and it would wreck this holiday."
"Well, can it be tomorrow?" Lana said.
"Sorry, I'm only here today. It wouldn't be special if I showed up everyday."
"Aww." They both groan.
"Sorry to have disappointed you, so here's a free egg for finding me." Warren said upon giving an egg to each of em. "Bye guys."
"Wait! Can you at least tell us how the eggs are made?" Lana asked.
"Now that would would the surprise now would it." Warren said as he now hops away. The two look on at the rabbit hopping away from the distance.
"We're not going to just leave him be?" Lola said.
"No, we're not." Lana said. "We're going to catch him, are we?"
"Yeah, we are." Lola said as they both clap.
...
Warren hops along in the forest, cheerful about doing his job of delivering the eggs into hiding spots. He pretty my goes about his job without a care in the the world until he stops and sees a pink pageant princess named Lola a few feet in front of him. He waves at her and then turns the other direction and then spots Lana, also in front of him.
Warren turns the other direction until he realizes that Lola in front of him and Lana is behind him, leaving him cornered.
They both close in on Warren, a step at a time. Warren is at a standstill. As they get close enough, they make a leaping jump. Warren jumps high in the air leaving Lana to miss on the ground with Lola landing on top of her right after.
As Warren bounces on top of em before attempting to hop away, The two get back up ready to try again. Lana runs in to capture but Warren jumps over her. Lola runs in next but Warren jumps over her also avoiding her. Warren hops over before seeing Lana pouncing, he skids before doing a sideways jump causing another miss. They both corner him again and they run but he jumps at the last second and they both bonk on the head before landing on the ground.
"Ow, why couldn't we catch him?" Lola said groaning.
"Maybe because you keep stuffing your face with sugar and sweets." Lana said
"Oh, says the person that like to dig around for bugs and worms." Lola talked back.
"Hey, worms and bugs has protein and proper nutrients unlike you stuffing your face with cake, that's why you're so fat."
"You take that back."
"Ahem! If I may clear things up." Warren said in front of the downed twins. "Rabbits are naturally more agile than humans, so chasing me wouldn't do any good. So I suggest not bothering."
"Here's an egg for trying though." Warren says as he hops away.
"Welp, he's right." Lola admitted. "We can't chase after him."
"How about to try and trap him?" Lana said
Lola smiles. "Good idea."
...
Lola and Lana stand behind the log as the latter is busy fiddling with rope.
"So how does this work?" Lola asked.
"As soon as he lands on that circle. I pull the draw string and he hangs on the rope. He won't be getting away like that." Lana said as upon finishing thst it's a rope snare.
"Excellent. Most excellent." Lola giggles.
As Lana finishes the rope, she throws it up on the tree and places the noose on the ground ready for the spring. With the trap set, the two hide behind the log waiting for the bunny.
"Now all we have to do is wait." Lana said holding the rope on the draw string. And Lola watching on patiently for the rabbit to approach.
A few moments later...
Lana is sleeping peacefully still holding the rope.
Lola however still watches on behind the log; her patience is wearing thin by the second.
"Augh!" Lola said frustrated. "What's it take for the rabbit to show up?"
"All you had to do was say please." Lola shakes about and looks ahead to see Warren in front of her.
Lola gasps and shouts to Lana. "Lana! Lana! Pull the string! Pull the string! Wake up and pull the string!" As she continues to shout at a still unresponsive Lana, she turns to sees Warren turn his back and shakes his little tail preparing to hop away. Not letting him get away. Lola makes a full dive towards the bunny. She recovers to see that she had missed her target in about 4 feet in front of her. Lola gets up and raises his hands ready to attack.
Snap! "Ahh!"
Lola is then suddenly thrust upwards at the tree before stopping suddenly at the air.
"Sorry I slept! Did we catch him?" Lana said rushing out. Upon recovery, she sees Lola swing about as she hangs on her feet by their rope trap!
"So, the old snare and bait maneuver." Warren said looking up at an annoyed Lola. "Don't think I'll be falling as something as simple as that." He then hops away.
But not before he puts an egg on the ground next to Lana. Now he hops away.
"You not going to get away from us next time. We will be getting you, you stupid bunny!" Lola said as she still swing about. "Lana, put me down already!" Lola says as Lana promptly does. Lola then suddenly fell down straight to the ground.
...
Dirt is constantly being ejected upwards as a huge hole is shown. Upon closer inspection, it's Lana appearing from the hole with a shovel confirming that it's her doing. Lana then brings in a sheet to cover the hole. And after this, she covers it with leaves until it's unrecognizable from the common ground.
Lana hides in the bush with Lola to wait for the rabbit.
Thankfully, they don't wait long as they see the catch of the day.
The rabbit hops along the the road as he nears the trap. The two get giddy.
The rabbit then hops on the pair of leaves as he then places a egg on the nearby bush safe and sound, Satisfied, he then hops away.
All without triggering the trap...
Which leaves Lana confused and Lola's face dumbfounded.
Lola goes to the trap and walks on it. It doesn't budge.
She steps on it some more with still the same result.
Then stomps on it.
She then hops on it.
And hops on it.
And hops on it.
No result...
She growls. "I don't believe it!" Lola said frustrated with another failed trap.
"Don't worry Lola, we just need to keep trying." Lana said. "Think of this as another step towards perseverance."
"Hmm, You're right we can't give up now. Let's think of another plan." Lola said as she walks off.
"Ahhhhhh!"
But not two steps after that as the tarp finally gives way, leaving Lola to finally fall on the hole and then land towards the ground.
"Lola, you're alright?" Lana said yelling at the hole.
"Just another step towards perseverance!" Lola said yelling back.
...
Warren is happily hoping along as he places eggs behind the bush. One bush at a time ensuring it's concealment to not too hidden but not too obvious to the recipient to find it. Speaking of the bushes, Lola is behind a bush with net in hand, ready and waiting for the egg to be placed next to her as the signal.
Suddenly, footsteps approach her location and soon enough, the egg is then placed under her. Lola quickly places her net on the captor and quickly turns it upside down; she feels weight confirming her catch. "Gotcha" As she pulls back her catch and lifts it to her face, she gets to see that it's a skunk and it's angry! Upon seeing this, Lola casts a very wide smile petting the skunk to calm it down, but the skunk isn't having it.
The skunk turns around it's rear facing Lola, lifts it's tail and..
HISSSSS!
At Lana's location, he sees a massive stink line coming close to her as birds and some tree leaves fall towards the ground. As the stench gets close, it's revealed to be Lola incensed with a hand covering her nose and then walks past Lana not saying anything. Lana takes a quick sniff and then quickly revolts.
"Le Pew!" Lana said holding her nose and waving the stink away with her other hand; disgusted with the stench.
...
Warren hops along swinging the basket back and forth without a care in the world, he then stops as Lola is next to him.
'Hi there!" Lola said cool as a cucumber.
Warren instantly makes a karate pose, ready. "Huah, Hi, hyah! Bring it on." Warren grunts continually as he continues making karate poses. "Huah, Hi, hyah! This rabbit is ready for ya! Lets see what other tricks you plan to catch me!"
"Okay." Lola slowly extends his hand forward as Warren continues with the karate poses.
Lola then pulls her arm back.
Not making any other moves as she continues her cool attitude.
"Hey, you didn't try to catch me." Warren said confused.
"Why, thank you for noticing." Lola said as she then raised her hand up to reveal a basket filled with eggs.
"My basket!" Warren said surprised. The bunny jumps to grabs but Lola spins herself away causing him to miss and land roughly on the ground.
Warren jumps again. Only for Lola to pirouette away.
This dance of duck and dodge continues onward until Warrren is left tired on the ground, panting and Lola still holding on to the basket.
"Come on, there's no way that a human can be dancing around like that!" Warren said panting.
"Oh no?" Lola says as she then pulls out a certificate.
The certificate says: Lola Loud for displaying impressive feats with gymnastics and ribbon dancing from the pageant: Miss Cute and Mean.
She then pulls a huge golden trophy with also a more or less the exact statement.
"Well, I'll be darned." Warren admitted to the audience. He then gets up and pleads to the pageant princess. "Come on, give me the basket back. I need it so I can continue giving out easter eggs."
"Uh uh, uh. There's only one way you can have the basket back and that's to come home with us." Lola said.
"No way, I'm not doing it." Warren says.
"If you want the basket back, then you will." Lola said.
"No, I won't." Warren said
"Yes. You will." Lola said.
"Oh no, I won't."
"Oh yes, you will!"
"Oh no, I won't."
"Oh yes, you will!"
"Oh no, I won't."
"Oh yes, you will!"
"Oh yes, I will!"
"Oh no, you wont!"
"Oh yes, I will!"
"Oh no, you wont!"
"Oh yes, I will!"
"Oh no, you wont!"
"Oh yes, I will!"
"Buddy, you either don't come with me right now or you won't be seeing this basket again." Lola said as she gets on his face. With no other option for negotiations, Warren relents.
"Ok ok, fine. I'll do it, just give me the basket back, please!" Warren pleaded to the girl.
Upon this, Lola promptly gave the basket back to the rabbit much to his thanks.
"See that's why you don't mess with Lola Loud." Lola said proud of herself. "All it took was a little negotiation and you are sent packing to where you... came...from.." She then paused upon this realization.
Lola turned around to see that Warren's last position was gone and turning to the road is Warren hopping away. Upon this, Lola became incensed as her face gets more and more red with steam coming out of her ears.
Warren hops off swinging his easter basket with a smile on his face before he hears a loud scream.
"AHHHHH!"
He stops and turns to the source and sees heavy dust coming towards him. "Uh Oh!" He speeds up his gait as Lola speeds behind him, burning a trail in the road as she goes.
Upon a thick bush, they knock over raccoons, skunks, squirrels and other rabbits, Despite this, the two continue with their chase, unimpeded.
Somewhere amidst a clearing. A rabbit is in the middle of looking at trees with birds being drawn and painted amist an easel. The lighting is right and the setting is perfectly framed. Just need a few more sketches.
Now a streak of white and pink buzzes about in the middle of the clearing. The painter is almost finished as the streak finally goes away. Perfect.
The painting is finished and its called: Beautiful landscape with basket carrying bunny being chased by angry pageant child circling around a tree. As the painting displays this exact seneraio.
As Warren continues hopping away, he spots a rabbit carrying cabbages. He bounces on the cabbages before hopping away. The cabbage rabbit cursed at warren as he hops away, thankfully no damage has been done. Suddenly, a streak of pink blasts through the crate destroying the makeshift wheelbarrow resulting in spilled cabbages. Leaving the cabbage rabbit down on his knees, bawling and screaming.
Lola with cabbages in her hands tosses at the easter bunny in an attempt to slow him down. Warren responds with a jump, a duck, another jump, and then jump. The last cabbage thrown ricochets into a tree which Warren dodges but it hits Lola which causing her to fall into a hole that was a trap earlier.
"Help. Help!"
The rabbit goes back into the hole.
"Lana, somebody! Helllp!"
After a while, of waiting for help, Warren decides to take matters into his own paws and prepares to dive in the hole.
"What? I'm not just going to leave her down here, am I?" Warren says to the audience.
Warren hops down the hole and in no time at all then hops back up with Lola.
"Just so you know I didn't ask for you to help me." Lola scoffed as she dusted herself off.
"What kind of rabbit I'd be if I didn't?"
As she clean herself up, she noticed her tiara is gone. Warren notices and hops back down to the hole and picks up the tiara giving it back to her and she straightens it.
"Thank you." Lola admitted to the bunny.
"You're welcome, shall we resume?"
"Certainly, After you." Lola bowed.
"Much obliged." Warren thanked as he hops ahead and Lola goes right after.
Warren hops about as Lola finally closes the distance swing the net back and forth as she's pretty much done with his shenanigans. Lola just needs a few more feet...
Meanwhile... Lana readies her mallet and takes breath, focusing. She sees Warren approaching with Lola chasing after. Lana raises his mallet as they draw near. She closes her eyes and makes a swing.
Thwack!
As she opens her eyes. She sees that her mallet has landed to Lola's head!
She sees Lola standing still with her eyes glazing over.
"Uh..Lola?" Upon answering Lola then falls over and raising the mallet.
Lola falls towards his back toward the ground leaving her with a bump on her head and stars spinning about on top of her. Lana goes oops and slowly walks away.
...
"Grr. This rabbit thinks he's so smart. He keeps outsmarting us every time we try to capture him." Lola said currently having her bump being bandaged by Lana.
As Lana is bandaging Lola. Lana thought of something. "Lola. I got an idea. This one will truly work."
"Well, I really hope so, ow!"
...
Warren hops about and sees Lana standing in front this time.
"Now it's you. Well, I got to admit. You guys are persistent upon trying to catch little old me." Warren admitted.
"Thank you, Mr. Rabbit." Lana says.
"Well I'm sorry to disappoint you, but I'm not going to be forced to come with you just because you keep showing up."
"I know." Lana admitted. "That's why I'm going to give you food if you come with us. And it'll be something you'll like!" Lana sing-songed.
"Come on, do you think I'm going to be roped by food?"
He then stops to see a what Lana is holding. On her hand it's a carrot.
An orange, bonafide carrot.
And Warren is salivating upon the sight.
Lana swings the carrot left and right; Warren's eyes follow. Lana then tosses the carrot to the ground and Warren dives for it. He lands on the ground only to miss the carrot by a couple of feet away from him. He tries again and then sees it away from him again. Warren then begins to chase after it as the carrot is being flown away.
Upon closer inspection, the carrot is being pulled by a line and the line is being pulled by Lola with a fishing rod. Lola pulls the fishing rod as the bait is pulls close. Upon finishing the reel, she sees Warren hanging on the carrot with his teeth, quickly gnawing on the carrot like a fish. Lola cuts the line and drops the rabbit to the net. with the rabbit still chewing on the food, leaving him no way of escape.
"Lana. We got the rabbit." Lola cheered as Lana comes over.
"Yes! Yes! We got the rabbit!" They both cheered as the dance around each other as they finally completed their mission of capturing the rabbit.
"Now, Mr. Rabbit." Lola said looking at the catch. "You'll be coming straight home where you'll be shown off to our little sister."
Back at the house and in Lisa's room, Lisa is slowly placing a beaker full of busy attempting to drop the solution on the bigger bottle.
"Almost.." She said as the liquid goes to the edge. "Carefully..." The liquid dripples as is on the edge.
"Hi Lisa!" Lisa jump upon that sudden shout and dips the beaker into the solution which then...
Boom!
Explodes, causing Lisa's whole self to be covered in soot.
Lisa coughed as he turned to the source of the noise and they're Lola and Lana. "What is it now, eighth and ninth born siblings." Lisa said as he dusted the soot away.
"We've caught the easter rabbit!" The twins both say.
"Oh really?" Lisa said unimpressed. Upon this, Lola pulls the rabbit out of her back by the ears.
Lisa is then left astounded. "This can't be. This can't be the rabbit?!" Lisa says as she searches around his person.
"It's true," Warren says. "I'm the easter rabbit. Bonafide ancestry easter rabbit. Do you want an autograph?" Warren said.
"This is a scientific marvel! What is thought to be only folklore is actually real!" Lisa said as he then smiles. "Thank you you two. Your find has been a blessing for science everywhere." She then grabs the rabbit and puts him in the net. "Now with you my little specimen. You shall be taken away for display, documentation and for research. Very extensive research." Lisa said upon giving a smarmy smile upon staring at her. Warren only gulps. "Now if you excuse me I shall be off."
Lisa closes the door as they leave.
"Well we did it. We've sure shown Lisa who's boss. Now with the rabbit done, we can be sure to have a nice easter."
As Lola smiles. Lana walks upset. Something that Lola notices.
"Lana, what's wrong?" Lola said.
"It's just that now that we caught the easter bunny. Lisa is going to show off the easter bunny to everyone..." Lana said sad. "Lola we have to back and save him."
"Why?"
"Because if we don't do it the people will go after the rabbits for their easter eggs and the rabbits themselves will go into hiding being too scared to go out. And when that happens then that means that there will be no more easter!" Lana says.
..
Somewhere else, A rabbit with a pencil in her ears is carrying an easter basket and is holding a checklist. As the rabbit checks things over, a shadow is cast over. It's revealed to be human like figures with capture equipment. Seeing no part of this. The rabbit bolts out of here. But unfortunately, not very far as the rabbit is caught in a net and is taken away to parts unknown.
Somewhere in Texas, a rabbit in a cowboy getup delivers easter eggs until that rabbit is found and is picked up by humans.
Somewhere in Transylvania. A rabbit in a dark getup is delivering eggs, that rabbit is also caught.
In France, a Mary Poppins like rabbit with an umbrella is delivering eggs and is also caught.
Rabbits every which way are running for lives as a rabbit with a megaphone rabbit yells for evacuation.
The military rabbit gets egg shaped bombs and tosses em as a last stand to protect the bunnies. Suddenly a tranq dart is shot in her body. She fights on trying her best not to have the tranquilization overwhelm her. Now it's another dart and her movement starts to slow. Then one more, one more and then two before finally succumbing to the shots and falls to the ground, leaving the humans free to capture her.
In the aftermath, no more rabbits are found and April fourth does not contain easter and it continues like this for years and years and years...
...
As Lola finished that thought, she relents. "Oh you're right Lana. We need to get him back." Lola said determined. "But how are we gonna do it. I don't think Lisa is going to hand us back the bunny willy-nilly."
Lana thinks for a bit until. "I have an idea."
...
Warren tries his best to get off of the net but it's no use and it's too elusive.
"Don't worry specimen, you shall enjoy as being in display in a science institute so your kind shall be discovered by millions around the world!" Lisa said currently on her phone and smiling.
"Um, isn't you discovering me in of itself enough?" Warren said.
Lisa gave thought until she came to a conclusion. "No." As Lisa finishes, the call finally picks up.
"Hello, science service. I've found an amazing discovery that'll change the world. Why yes it is very interesting." Lisa nodded and nodded. "I've found a specific creature that can be only found in folklore, and what I've found is-" Knock Knock. Knock. Lisa is suddenly interrupted by a knock on the door. "Just a second."
Lisa opens it and it's the twins.
"Hello there, I don't think I've told you about the kinds of eggs you'll get to see." Lola said.
"I don't think that'll be interesting to me."
"That's because you haven't heard what types there are! There's red eggs, blue eggs, green eggs..."
With Lola distracting Lisa. Lana sneaks around to find Warren still trapped in the net.
"Don't worry, I'm coming to rescue you." Lana said as she pulled out a saw and begin sawing the handle off.
Lisa continued listening to Lola's egg coloring until she got bored. "Interesting, Now can you let me back to my work?" Lisa then turned arou-
"Come on!" Lola said stopping her. "But you haven't heard the patterns. There's striped eggs, polka dotted eggs..."
Lola continued as Lana nearly finishes sawing off the net. The net is finally sawed off and Warren falls off, but with a thud and having the eggs fall toward the floor. Warren quickly picks up the eggs in no time, all without losing one.
"And just what do you think you're doing?" Warren and Lana heard as they saw Lisa looking straight at them.
"Lisa, can you not have the easter bunny be sent to the science institute?" Lana said.
"No, I cannot."
"Oh well, it's worth a try. RUN!" Lana said as she and Warren run with Lisa chasing after em. After a bunch of bouncing around. The twins leave with Warren straight behind but the door suddenly closes blocking off his escape. Warren tries to open the door, but it's no use.
"I knew I'd find a use for this." Lisa said upon holding a door closing button. She then closes in on the bunny. "Now to make sure you won't be running away next time."
"Ok. But before you trap me. Can I do one more thing?" Warren said.
"And what is it?" Lisa said.
Warren reaches to his basket and pulls an egg. "I like to give you an easter egg. This one is especially made just for you." The rabbit said as he then gives the egg to Lisa.
"Oh, why thank you, specimen." Lisa said intrigued by the egg. It's colors, patterns and its doesn't look to be crudely painted on. It's wonderful.
Unbeknownst to Lisa, The rabbit makes this opportunity to search for another exit. He spots an open window and promptly escapes leaving Lisa to the egg.
"That's nice of him, to give me an holiday egg." Lisa said. "Though I wonder why this particular egg is especially made for me?" She then starts to inspect it until she stops to a small rope connected to the egg that's on fire...
It's a fuse!
And it's connected to the egg revealing it to be an egg shaped bomb!
The lit fuse goes shorter and shorter as the bomb is set to goes off until..
..
Lisa puts the fuse out with her licked fingers..
"Hmph." Lisa said flicking her fingers. "Do he really think I'm going to fall for something as crude as this?" Lisa huffs as she tosses the egg away.
The egg is then sent to the red chemical solution, knocking it. The resulting force topples solution into the green solution. Lisa looks on realizing her mistake as the red solution pours over until there's nothing left. The solution violently bubbles and shakes as bubbles cascade on top of the solution until...
"Uh-oh."
~~~~~~~~BOOM!~~~~~~~~~
The explosion goes as it forces the house roof goes skyward from the smoke. The roof lands back to the house completely intact. Inside Lisa's room, the entire space is covered in soot upon a dizzy Lisa.
"Well...That egg was pretty special all right. ...Ugh!" Lisa then falls to the ground unconscious.
Back at Ketchum Park, Warren is back at the woods with Lola and Lana standing right by him.
"We're sorry about all of this." Lola said down.
"Yeah, we just wanted to show Lisa that you were real." Lana said down.
"Ah bygones are bygones. Just make sure that the next time we meet, we don't make any more capture attempts, okay" The rabbit said.
"We promise!" The twins say as Warren shakes both Lola's and Lana's hand as thanks.
"Bye bye!/Bye easter bunny!" Lola and Lana said as the bunny picked up his easter basket as he looks to the road ahead of him.
"Good-bye." Warren looks back to the two waving goodbye. He then turns back around and then hops away back into the seclusion of the forest.
"Dang it! We never got to find out how he was able to make those easter eggs." Lana said disappointed.
"I guess there are some things that just remain a secret." Lola says as they both watch the bunny hopping towards the sunset.
Somewhere in Ketchum Park at nightfall...
Warren goes back at the forest hopping about with an empty basket finally finished with his duty.
He then stops as he feels something in his stomach. He grunts a bit before it finally leaves his system. Upon finishing, he looks under him to see that it's an fresh easter egg with a yellow and light blue striped pattern.
He goes to pick it up...but then relents.
"Know what...What's one egg out in the open than a couple hundred." He then hops off as he goes.
"Happy Easter everyone!"
And that's all folks!
Seeing the easter holiday containing the easter bunny and having a loud house episode "White hare." containing bunnies, it was just ASKING for this story to be made.
I apologize for the many White Hare rabbits cameos, there were some scenes like the chase scene, rabbit finding scene and the rabbit hunting scene that felt incomplete so I figured l why not add some of em as a cameo. (though if you recently read, Skylines "Welcome to the Warrens" story I see this as an appreciation.)
All right, what do you think? Comments and Criticisms are welcome and favorite if you liked it.
Have a happy easter everyone!
