Chapter 1: The Aftermath:
Ellie was alone in the house that she, Dina and JJ once shared together. She was sharpening her switchblade thinking about everything. And everyone. "Man what the fuck did I do? I've lost it all. Joel's gone. Tommy's lucky to be alive. Jesse's dead. JJ and Dina are gone. Why do I still come here? I went back to Jackson already." Ellie then decided to head back into Jackson. As she opened the door, a boy, Caucasian, black hair and the same age as Ellie stood there waiting for her with a kind smile on his face.
"You okay?" He asked
"Yea...I'm fine. What are you doing here Ryan?" Ellie asked currently one of her only friends this question with little to no surprise.
"Just stopping by, you know, checking on my friends?"
"Thanks I guess." Ellie proceeded to walk past Ryan and head back to The Jackson Community.
"You know my brother and Crunch are worried about you."
Ellie stopped and looked back at Ryan. She was surprised that Ryan's brother Ray, and their pet Cougar were concerned about her well-being. "Pfft. Fuck Ray. I love Crunch. He's a badass companion."
Ryan just chuckled lightly before teasing Ellie. "Look, I know Ray can be an asshole towards you and is annoying, but I can tell your only saying that because Dina and Ray are dating."
Ellie was in no mood to talk about Ray or Dina. She just wanted to get back to Jackson and go on patrol. "Look, I don't give a flying fuck about Dina and Ray. I'm happy Dina's moved on and is happy. But Ray can suck ma dick. Crunch and you are the only ones that are cool I guess. Now, I've got a patrol to go on. You can stay here and play Ask Ellie All Day or can come back to Jackson with me and we can go on Patrol." Ryan nodded his head in respect for Ellie and the two headed back to Jackson.

"Look what the fuck General Washington has us doing?" A man was trekking through a cliff side in Jackson Wyoming with 7 Of his colleagues, looking for something...or someone.
"Shut the fuck up and let's do what General Washington wants man. He's scary as fuck man. I don't know how the hell he managed to bring The Wolves and Scars together." The 2nd man said to the group.
"Don't you dumbasses listen to anything?!" The 3rd WLF Soldier yelled. "General Washington wants to take over the entire fucking Country and hopes to restore order. Then he wants to become the president once shit gets back in order."
"Yea man. I saw our fucking numbers a while back and we are huge man. Even better than when Issac was in charge. We've had so many new fucking recruits over the last two months!" The 4th WLF Soldier agreed with General Washington's ruthless methods.
"I heard some shit about him trying to takeover New York. That shit seems impossible. New York has been Fedra Heaven since The Outbreak started. General Washington told me his brother is the commander of New York and New York City. I wouldn't want my ass down there. Or New Mexico." The 5th WLF Soldier continued to talk about information he learned from this mysterious General Washington.
"Fedra's hotspots are New York, New Mexico and Boston. Those are the strongest Post Outbreak Quarantine Zones in the country. New York is infested with Soldiers everywhere from Upstate New York to New York City. Fedra and The Ravens are currently in a war in New Mexico for control. And Boston is well protected." 6 Of The WLF Soldiers continued to talk about their leader while the 7th WLF Soldier and as well as the leader of the group told them to be quiet.
"All of you need to shut the fuck up. Look!" The leader of the group pointed to a lighting up town over the edge of the cliff.
Jackson County
The leader of the group then got on a Walkie Talkie. "General, I see a Town. This looks like a safe haven or something for the people of Jackson. Awaiting orders sir!"
"Great Work John...See If you can find the girl." The man known as General Washington spoke in a slow and menacing voice. This spooked of 3 of the seven WLF Soldiers out of the group that was in Jackson.

Ellie and Ryan made it back to Jackson. The gates to the entrance of Tommy and Maria's town opened to allow the two to enter the Jackson Community.
"Hey Ryan, Ellie. How are you doing this fine day?" A man that was sitting on a log by the entrance greeted the pair happily.
"Hey man. Stay off the drinks today. Last night wasn't pretty." Ryan happily returned the kind man's greeting.
"Hahahahaha! Go fuck your self."
Ryan just laughed before walking with Ellie. "I love that guy. He's crazier than the infected when he's drunk. Am I right Ellie?" Ellie formed a light smile on her face. It then disappeared not to long after before she reluctantly replied.
"Yea. He's great I guess."
"Oh come on. Cheer up Ellie. What's the matter? Do you need me to kiss your Boo Boo?" Ryan joked about Ellie's two missing fingers. Ellie, surprisingly, felt somewhat better about herself and replied back with an insult, but calmly.
"Ahhhhh fuck you Ryan."
"And that's how you put a smile on that puss." Ellie stuck up the middle finger in retaliation. "Hey come on. Let's stop by my house. Grab crunch then go meet Maria."
"Let's do it." Ellie said this before returning to a serious manner. Ellie and Ryan proceeded to head to Ryan's house in The Jackson Community to retrieve his pet Cougar, Crunch.
"Have you spoken to Tommy lately?" Ellie didn't answer the question. She held it off for about 15 seconds before replying.
"No. No I haven't."
"You know his walking's getting better." Ellie was shocked by this news.
"Bullshit. I was there when Tommy was shot by Abby."
"I mean, his walking is still shit, but's it's better than before. Jackson Doctors have been helping rehabilitate his body after that Abby woman he talks about shot him apparently. You should talk to him."
"Maybe i will. Maybe I won't. I don't know. But if that's the case, I'm happy Tommy's doing better."
"Yea. He asks about you to Ellie. He wants to know how your coping with, you know, Dina breaking up with you? Especially since she's dating my brother?"
"I already answered this. I said I'm fine with it." Ellie said this a bit tensely before quickly regaining her composure. "Sorry, I've just been stressed out a lot."
"It's okay. I know the feeling. Remember when my mom passed away a little while back." Ellie then started thinking about Ryan's mom passing away and Joel passing away at the hands of Abby. "Yea, it sucks man."
"Pfft, tell me about it. I was angry and depressed when Joel died in front of me. You wanna know something?"
"Yea sure."
"When I was pinned down and forced to watch Joel's final moments, I gave him a look. The look I gave him said I'm sorry for everything and I forgive you. Joel's face was bloodied and battered but he managed to share a face that said It's okay Ellie, I'm sorry to."
"Damn Ellie, Joel was a nice guy man. Far from perfect because of the world we live in, but a nice guy. It's fucked up what happened to him. Knowing Joel, he probably laughed at that woman's face and talked some good shit to her."
Ellie chuckled lightly before replying. "Yea. That's Joel for you. He'd probably spit in her face and laugh at her as Abby attempted to torture him. Me and Joel were on good terms with each other. I'm glad I was one of the last people Joel looked at before passing away."
"Joel, along with Tommy and Maria were the heart of Jackson man. You know, every once in a while, I'll pick a flower and place it somewhere on Joel's Front Porch or Doorstep. It's my way of honoring him and his legacy Ellie. He once taught me how to play with the minds of my enemy whether it's a human or infected. And he showed me how to upgrade my weapons. It was like the do's and don't's for weapons."
"Really? Joel never told me about this. What else did he teach you?" Ellie wanted to know more about Ryan's fond memories of Joel before his death.
"He taught me how to make a nail bomb, Molotovs and as I said before, Weapon Modifications. He was a real badass Ellie. Your lucky to have met him."
"Damn right...Sometimes I wish he was still here. I miss him a lot."
"Me to Ellie. Me to."
"I never told you this, but my Mom, before she died, left behind a switchblade for me. Gave it to one of my old friends to give to me. I've used it since that day." Ryan was lightly surprised before he pulled out a switchblade of his own and told his story.
"Really? Mines to. My mom gave me and Ray two switchblades before she passed away. She said to me that I'd always have a part of her with me. I'd always be by her side and her by mines. She said the same thing to Ray."
"Wow...That's some deep shit Ryan. Hey, after we fuck up these infected on patrol, you wanna grab something to drink and eat?" Ryan was taken a bit by surprise by Ellie's offer. He then kindly accepted her offer.
"Sure. And let's make shit a little more interesting. Whoever clears out the most Infected on patrol has to clean the other person's house. And you know how much Crunch likes to shit all over the place."
"Deal." Ellie and Ryan eventually arrive at Ryan's house. Ryan opened the front door and a Cougar came running out and tackled the boy and excitement.
"Hey Crunch! How's it been little guy?!" While Crunch and Ryan played with each other for a little while, Ellie thought about the time she and Joel saw an innocent group of Giraffes when she was being delivered to The Fireflies.
"Hey there...So Fucking cool."
Ellie snapped out of her memories when Crunch, Ryan's pet Cougar, tried playing with her. "Hey Crunch. It's been a while." The Mighty Cougar growled like a Cougar would do.
"Crunch is good to have around Ellie. He's a badass and he's a lazy, Food-Hungry fat Ass at times to. Come on, let's go to Maria so we can go on Patrol. I've been teaching Crunch some new moves he can use when we're out dealing with Hunters and Infected."
"Let's do it." Ellie simply but in a serious tone said. Ellie, Ryan and Crunch proceeded to head towards the main gate of The Jackson Community where they would meet Maria and their fellow Jackson County Patrollers.
"So how is Maria, considering she's you know, not with Tommy at the moment." Ellie showed some concern for the currently or temporarily single Maria.
"Maria's doing okay. She misses Tommy a lot, but Tommy was bitter and vengeful after you guys had that encounter with that mysterious Abby Girl from Seattle."
"She's not mysterious. She's a piece of shit...just like I'm a piece of shit as well."
"Ellie." Ryan went on. "Your not a pice of shit, you were filled with Revenge and Anger. If someone did that to my Mom, hell, even Ray, I'd be pissed off as well. I'd go hunting for whoever the fuck killed someone close to me as well."
"Thanks I guess."
"Anytime." Ryan and Ellie stopped when they saw Crunch The Cougar stop and stretch. "You know Ellie, you should go down to The Pet Farm and get yourself a dog. We've got a Shit Tone of Big Dogs and Little Dogs. And besides, your lonely as fuck right now."
"I'll think about it and fuck you, I'm not lonely."
"Yea Yea, that's what all widows say. And besides, a dog can help you on Patrol. Come on, let's go get you a Dog to keep."
"I said I'll do it later. We've got Patrol and Maria probably wondering where we're at right now. Look how about this, after we deal with The Infected, I'll go down to The Pet Farm, Get a dog and then we'll get some food and something to drink as i said before after we're done."
"Alright, sounds like a plan Ellie. I recommend a German Shepherd."
"Yea. German Shepherds are cool." After Crunch finished up his stretching, Ryan, Ellie and The Carnivorous Cat continued traveling through their Jackson Community.

Tommy was lying down on a nurse like bed in The Jackson Community's Hospital and Nursing Center getting one of his daily rehabilitation checkups. "Alright Tommy, can you stand up for me?" One of the doctors asked Tommy to stand up, which he complied with.
"Alright. I'm up."
"Good. Now can you walk around this bed for me?"
"Damn it. Again. Nurse I've already done it."
"Tommy, if you want me to help you get your mobility skills back to normal, you'll have to do as I say, now can you walk around the bed for me?" A reluctant Tommy walked around the bed the best way he could. He couldn't walk normally like he used to but he tried his best to walk. Ever since he lost most of his mobility and was blinded in one eye from Abby, he'd grown a deep and bitter hatred for the woman. In the time that followed his vengeful trip to Seattle and year after that, he had been going through hellacious rehabilitation in Jackson County to try and get his Mobility back to normal. He always thought about Maria. Even after the time they had split apart for a little while. "There you go Doc. I did it."
"That's great Tommy. You've been doing good and better each day. This information will really help me and you both."
"I know Doc, I know. Hey can i ask you something?"
"Anything."
"How's Ellie doing? It's been a while since I've last spoken with her. I wanna know how she's feeling."
"Well Mr Tommy, I can't say exactly how Miss Ellie is, but based on what I've heard around Town, she's doing quite well. I believe she's going on patrol if I'm not mistaken." Tommy was relieved that Ellie was doing well.
"That's good to know. Thanks Doc, we can continue on with this now."

Maria was standing by The Horse Stables and main gate of The Jackson Community getting her Patrolmen ready to go out and patrol the area for Infected. "I you all to clear out as much infected as possible. Remember, if you all run into anything you can't handle, don't be a badass. Be smart and get the hell out of there, Am I Clear?"
By this time, Ryan, Ellie and Crunch we're already there waiting for Maria's orders. They were two of hers and Tommy's best Patrolmen in Jackson and handled everything they did mostly well. "Maria, we're here. And we've got Crunch to go with us." Ryan said the one of two leaders of Jackson.
"Good, now I need you two to do an important job. This mission is dangerous and I don't wanna send you two if you don't want to. Ive been hearing rumors of a horde of Clickers in the surrounding areas of Jackson. Hotels, Bars, Grocery Stores, you name it. I want you two to eliminate any Infected you see. I don't want any more hordes to be formed."
"We'll do it Maria. You down for this Ellie?" Ellie nodded her head in approval of both Ryan and Maria.
"We'll handle it Maria." Ellie awaited for Maria to give them the green light.
"Are you sure Ellie? Your fingers and.-"
"I said we'll handle it Maria." Ellie had cut off Maria, who sighed and gave them approval.
"Alright, grab your Rifles and Horses and then I'll send you with the rest of the Patrols." Maria walked off to talk with a man who was on his horse reloading his Rifle.
"Hey, go get the horses. I need to talk with Maria about something." Ryan shook his head yes as he went to go get their horses and their equipment. Ellie then walked over towards Maria, who had finished talking with The Man.
"Hey Maria, can we talk?"
Maria, who had waved the man off to go wait with The Other Patrollers turned and looked at Ellie. "Sure."
"Have you spoken with Tommy recently?" Maria, was both taken by surprise and reluctant to talk about Tommy, answered the question.
"No Ellie. I haven't spoken with him lately...But I here he's doing well and his condition is getting better. We still do our Jackson Leadership Roles, but not like we used to. Why?" Ellie then sighed and told Maria what Ryan had told her about Tommy a few minutes prior.
"Tommy really misses you." Maria didn't say anything about it for 30 Seconds.
"And?"
"You should talk to him."
"...I don't know Ellie."
"You should. He needs you as much as you need him."
"He's angry and bitter as well as vengeful. But he's still my god damn husband. I'll consider it, but right now, we need to focus on patrols."
"Fair enough." Ellie and Maria nodded heads as Ellie walked over to Ryan, who had his horse, and Ellie's new horse, Sunshine.
"What was Maria talking to you about?" Ryan was curious about Maria and Ellie's conversation.
"Nothing. I just tried convincing her to talk to Tommy. You know, shit like that."
"Good. I was gonna try and convince her to talk to him anyways. And your horse Sunshine here is a real beauty."
NEIGHHHHHHHHHThe horses made horse sounds as Ryan and Ellie got on them. Crunch stood between his owner and the two horses. "RRRRRRRRRRRRRR!" Crunch had his game face on ready for action. Before the patrols could begin, Ellie bumped into someone she wasn't expecting to run into.
Dina.
"Heyyyyy." Ellie said awkwardly.
"Ohhhh hi." Dina replied back awkwardly.
"So...How's JJ?"
"He's...Fine. He love's hanging out with Ray."
"Oh. That's cool."
"Look Ellie, shit doesn't have to be awkward between us because we're broken up. We can still be friends, okay?"
"Of course." Ray, Ryan's slightly older brother, came up to the two on his horse, started with his Fuck With Ellie Shit.
"You fucking with my girlfriend Ellie? I knew she was to sexy for your dumbass. How've you been?"
"Hahaha Fuck You to, asshole." Ellie bitterly stuck-up the middle Finger towards Ray moved her horse away from the couple. She headed towards Ray's younger brother Ryan. "I fucking hate your brother."
"He's not that bad. Other then the fact that he's an obnoxious asshole and can be annoying."
"Pfft, tell me about it man. Hey, Maria's about to give the announcements."
"Alright!" Maria yelled. "You all know the drill. It's patrol time. Any infected you see on your routes, you wipe them out. But remember, as our late friend Jesse would say, you run into anything you can't handle, come back to Town. If you see any of those god damn Hunters along the way, Deal with them if necessary. You all have your partners. Look out for each other. Keep each other safe. Watch each other's backs. Look out for each other. Before you relieve Jackson of any infected, Let's here it for Ellie and Ryan for clearing out The Most Infected on their last patrol!" All of Ellie and Ryan's fellow Jackson Patrolman clapped and congratulated the two for their efforts on Patrol. "Alright! Now Go!" The gates of Jackson Community opened up and the patrols headed out on patrol to clear any threats in Jackson. Dina and Ray rode off one way, Ellie, Crunch and Ryan the other way. The other patrols headed their respective ways as well.
"What do you think we'll kill today? I'm predicting a Bloater." Ryan said.
"Don't push your luck. It'll be rare as fuck if we find a Bloater out here."

The 7 Wolf soldiers were spying on the patrols from above. John, the leader of the group was watching The Town's activities and looking for any sight of 'The Girl'. "Did you park the Van? We want to grab the girl, get the fuck out of here without dealing with The Infected or this Town's reinforcements."
"Yea John. The Vans are parked. We'll find the bitch, snatch her ass up and take her back to Seattle and General Washington will have her ass give up the cure. I still wanna know how the fuck is General Washington gonna rebuild the entire fucking country. That shit seems impossible."
"Shut the fuck up! You'll lure Infected to our location." While 6 of The 7 WLF Soldiers continued to talk, John, the leader of the group shut them all up.
"All of you shut the fuck up! Let's get down their and catch the girl so we can get back to Seattle! Would you all rather be here, or down in California fucking with The Rattlers and shit? Good, now shut the hell up and let's get down there. General Washington has a good reward for us if we do this shit properly." The 7 Wolves then proceeded to carry on with their plans.

Ellie, Ryan and Crunch were about to park the horses in a garage in one of Jackson's Towns. "So, what do you think these towns and cities looked like before The Outbreak?" Ryan asked.
"I don't know, nice and not overgrown I guess." Ellie simply said.
"So we'll leave the horses in this abandoned garage."
"Yea."
Crunch started scoping out the area, as Mountain Lions/Cougars have a highly excellent eyesight.
"So how the fuck did you get a Mountain Lion as a pet Ryan?" Ellie was curious as to how Ryan obtained his companion Crunch.
"I'll tell you the story. I've had Crunch since he was a cub. It was a few years ago, I was wandering a forest by myself and an Infected Horde was triggered over something. I carefully trekked and saw what it was. The Horde of Clickers and Runners were trying to attack and kill this family of Cougars AKA Mountain Lions. It was a Momma and her 4 Babies and the horde was trying to kill them all and eat them. I was shocked and saw how swiftly The Momma Mountain Lion was killing some of The Infected. I've always been fascinated with Nature and All Animals Ellie, so I distracted The Horde. My dumbass thought I was invincible so I screamed and taunted the Infected and they all started running at me, thus forgetting about The Family of Mountain Lions. I ran for my life giving the Cougars a chance to escape while The Infected Horde was on my ass. I'd managed to kill a good amount of but nowhere near enough to take out the horde. After sometime I managed to escape The Runners and Clickers by hiding and maneuvering them. Then after that, I went back to where I saw The Cougar Family and learned that The Mother of The Cubs had taken 3 out of the 4 of The Babies and had abandoned Crunch by mistake. I took him in as my own and here we are now. Over the years, Ray's dumbass would always try and fuck with Crunch, but I wouldn't let him you know."
"Damn...that's some pretty deep shit." Ellie said.
"I know, it's a badass backstory. Makes me seem like a fucking superhero."
"To bad your a pussy." Ellie aggressively taunted.
"And this is coming from the woman who's missing two fingers."
"Fuck you bitch."
"Right back at you Ellie. Oh shit, look at this fucking truck in the way. How the hell are we supposed to get over this? We can't use the hood, it's trapped under this car. And on top of that, the damn truck is overturned."
"There's a ladder on the truck. Give me a boost and I can grab it." Ellie and Ryan noticed the ladder on top of the truck. As Ryan began giving Ellie a boost, Crunch started running fast and used his Cougar Agility to jump on top of the old truck. He then used his paws to push the ladder down so his Companion and his female friend could get on the truck. "Well I'll be damned. Good work Crunch." As Ryan applauded his Carnivorous Companion, He growled in delight as Ellie and Ryan climbed the ladder.
"Holy shit Crunch. That's some nice fucking jumping. Who's a good boy?" Ellie petted the animal as it once again growled in delight. The three man, woman and animal trio all jumped off of the truck and landed on the other side of it. "What the fuck, even my ass can't jump that fucking high." Ellie said this in a normal but serious tone.
"Mountain Lions are known to jump high. That's something I learned on my own. You see Ellie, that's why you need to stop by The Pet Farm and get a dog. Stop being a lonely and depressed girl." Ellie was somewhat offended and annoyed by this comment.
"Fuck you Ryan, I said I'd get myself one once we got back to Jackson. And as for the depressed part, I said I'm fine."
"Shit, my mistakes Ellie, I was just saying how fun it is to have a Badass Pet, Friend and Companion." Unfortunately, Ellie and Ryan's conversation was forced to a halt when Crunch started roaring and growling at something.
RRRRRRRRRRRRRR!
Click. Click. Click. Click.
"Shit, Infected. Hide." Ellie whispered to Ryan as they as well as Crunch, hid behind an abandoned car. Crunch stood ready for battle as he awaited his owner's orders. "It's mixed with Clickers and Runners in both of these stores." Ellie seriously said.
"Yea. I can hear them to. There's a helluva lot of Clickers to. Some Runners on the side. We should split up, kill all of their asses one by one." Ryan pulled out his pistol and turned off it's safety mode.
"Yea. I'll take the store on the left, you and Crunch go right." Ellie took out her pistol and took it off safety mode.
"Sounds like a plan." Ryan and Crunch quietly moved towards the store on the right side of the street. Ellie moved towards another car that was in the direction of the connivence store on the left. Ellie could see The Killer Look on Crunch's face as he began stalking his carnivorous prey with his companion by his side.
And that's a wrap on Chapter 1 of my custom Last Of Us Part 3 Fic. I wanted to try new things. So I have my OC Characters Ryan, Ray, General Washington, and John. I'm saying this now, Sarah, YES SARAH, Joel's daughter will appear, but not so soon. In my universe Sarah survives her Gunshot wound by The Military. Joel thought she died in her arms, but she was only knocked out from Blood Loss. And before people come at me, YES, you can be knocked unconscious from Blood Loss. Yes Abby and Lev will be in this fic as well.
