A Suite Life Fanfic
Hello! So this is something that has been in my head for a LONG time now, and I have only just recently decided to put it to (digital) paper. Not revealing any plot details, but let's just say that this story is LONG overdue (and that when I say Present Day, I really mean the year 2011). Hope you enjoy!

London Tipton pulled away from the love of her life, fighting back tears.
"And I won't let you do it", she said.
"But what about us?" Todd asked, confusion in his eyes.
London looked back at Mr. Moseby, who smiled, and then turned back to Todd St. Mark.
"Sometimes when you truly care about someone, you have to think about them before yourself."
Todd sighed.
"Well, it'll only take me eight years to become a dentist", he said dejectedly. "Then I can see you."
The two lovers embraced and London waved as Todd followed Ilsa back to the St. Mark.
Present Day (2011)
London Tipton smiled and waved from the limousine as she pulled up to Simons Theatre in Boston, Massachusetts.
"Hi, everybody!" the 22-year old heiress said as the paparazzi took their photos. "It's little me, about to watch my movie!"
"Yeah, that rhymes", she thought as the limo pulled up to the red carpet.
As she was about to get out and strut her stuff, her custom-made pink cell phone rang and she gasped, quickly answering it.
"Hey, Maddie!" she said. "Are you guys here yet?"
"Not quite", Maddie said, adjusting her red dress. "Jeffery's surgery ran kind of long, and he's not home yet. I still can't believe that I, Maddie Fitzpatrick, married the top surgeon of Massachusetts General Hospital!"
"I can't believe you married the grandson of your mystery phone guy", said London, picking at her nails. "My premiere is now! Can't Jeffery just get someone to cover his shift, or something?"
"Considering the fact that he is the top-rated surgeon in the county, I'm gonna go with no."
"Fine!" London said angrily. "Some friend you are, Maddie; I bet Zack and Cody and their wives will be there and not be stuck in surgery!"
Before Maddie could respond, London hung up and tossed the phone to the side, crossing her arms over her chest.
"Stupid doctor", she grumbled to herself.
"Miss Tipton, your public awaits!" her limo driver said.
"Sorry, Derek! I'm coming."
London threw her phone into her gold-sequined purse, plastered a smile on her face, and stepped outside.
"London, London, over here!" someone with a microphone called. "Kendra Blair, Boston's Finest; how did you feel when you were informed that Miley Stewart had turned down the role of Tom Cruise's co-star for this motion picture and that you were their second choice?"
"I don't know who this "Miley" person is", said London, completely oblivious to the fact that Hannah and Miley were the same person, "but I LOVE stealing the role from Hannah Montana!"
She giggled and waved to the press as she continued down the red carpet.
"Simon Cluster, from Hello Boston! Was it difficult training for the physical combat scenes?"
"Uh, no!" London said matter-of-factly. "That's what stunt doubles are for, DUH!"
She waved everyone off as she got to the doors of the theatre.
"That's all for now, it's London time. Toodles!"
She spun on her heel and went in.
"Oh, there she is-London!"
London spotted Bailey and Cody a few feet away and headed over to them.
"Oh great, you made it!"
London gave Bailey air kisses and gave a little wave to Cody.
"It's great to see you, London!"
Bailey pulled her former roommate in for a hug.
"Oh, I forgot: You're a hugger."
"I'm just so excited! I heard the movie's really good."
"Yeah, the critics are calling it a rousing good time", said Cody.
London blinked.
"That means they liked it", said Bailey.
"Oh! Great!"
London smiled and then looked around.
"Where's Zack and his wife?"
"Uh, Zack isn't married", said Cody, "but he'll most likely have a date. Ever since he and Maya broke up before graduation, he's been…well, a bit of a player."
"Ooh, what team?" said London.
Cody sighed and rolled his eyes.
"Hey, London!"
Everyone turned to see Zack stroll into the building with an attractive woman on his arm.
"Lookin' good!"
"Thanks!" said London.
"Hey, bro! How are you and the missus?"
"No worse than the last time you asked us", said Cody. "And who might this be?"
"This is Serena", said Zack, as his lady gave a little wave. "She's a supermodel. I met her on the plane."
"Of course, you did", Bailey thought.
"Well, we'd better take our seats!" said Cody, linking his arm with Bailey's. "Looks like the show's about to start."
A girl with long, reddish hair wearing a golden dress approached London.
"Hey, London, I just wanted to say congrats on the role. I'm sure you were great."
"Security!" London screeched, so loud the girl covered her ears. "Who let this person into my premiere?"
"London, it's me!" said the girl, holding a photo up to her face. "Hannah Montana?"
"Hannah?"
London looked at her, confused.
"Did you change your hair, or something?"
The girl sighed.
"No! But about four months ago, I went on Jay Leno and revealed my true identity. Hannah was just the famous part of me. My real name is Miley, Miley Stewart."
London just blinked at her.
"Ugh-forget it, you're hopeless. Have a good premiere!"
Miley flashed her a thumbs up and went to find her seat.
…
London walked out of the theater smiling and posing for pictures.
"I know, I know", she said. "Wasn't I wonderfuller than Hannah?"
"Miley!" said Miley, throwing her arms out.
"No, pretty sure her name is Hannah."
Miley groaned and stormed out of the theater.
"And I went to college for this?" she grumbled as she left the building.
"I have to say, London, you were very convincing!" said Bailey.
"That's because she was playing herself", said Cody. "A rich heiress whose father is in some shady business dealings?"
"Hey, there is nothing shady about my daddy...except when he's under a palm tree on vacation on his private island", said London. "But you got the rich part right!"
"Well, I just loved the kung-fu stuff", said Zack, who now had another pretty girl on his arm. "Especially that one part where Tom had to fight that ninja...hi-ya!"
He rammed his elbow back, colliding with London's jaw!
"Owww!" London whined.
"London!"
Cody ran over to examine her.
"Are you okay?!" Bailey asked.
"Nooooo!" London said, rubbing her jaw. "I think I need a tooth doctor!"
"You mean, dentist", said Cody.
"That, too!"
She ran her tongue over her teeth, where she could feel a distinctive crack in her middle, and wailed.
The Next Day
London angrily tapped her foot, waiting impatiently as patient after patient was called back to the examination room of Brush & Floss Boston Dental. Her jaw was killing her, and she hadn't slept a wink last night because of it.
London sighed and pulled out her cell phone, calling Maddie.
"Hey, London!" Maddie said, applying some lipstick in front of a mirror. "Sorry we missed your premiere last night, but Jeffery was called into another emergency surgery and saved a life!"
"Maddie, I have more important things to do than listen to you talk about your so-called "fabulous" life with your husband."
"Then why did you call me?"
"Because I'm bored in the tooth doctor's office!" London wailed, stomping her foot.
"You're at the dentist's? Why, what happened to you?"
"Zack hurt me."
"What?!"
"He didn't do it on purpose...I don't think."
"Well, did you apply some ice last night?"
"No; why would I do that? It would have made me cold."
"Jeffery says it also would have helped with the pain."
"Oh, great; NOW he tells me!"
"Miss Tipton", said the receptionist, "the dentist will see you now."
"Ugh, FINALLY!" London said, hanging up on Maddie. "It's about time!"
She pushed past the nurse and huffed her way to the back.
"I have been waiting for three whole minutes!" she said as the nurse opened the door for her. "I have never waited that long for anything in my entire life! So this "doctor" had better be able to fix my tooth!"
"Yes, Miss Tipton", the nurse said nervously. "He'll be right with you."
She rolled her eyes behind London's back as she shut the door.
"Oh, great", London thought. "MORE waiting."
She crossed her arms over her chest and leaned back in the examination chair...and then screamed as she slid off it and into the floor. The door was thrown open and a man in blue scrubs and a face mask entered.
"Miss, are you okay?! Here, let me help-"
Suddenly, he gasped and froze, staring at the girl on the ground.
"Hel-lo! Heiress with a cracked tooth on the ground, here!"
"Oh!"
The man quickly rushed over and helped her sit back up in the chair.
"I'm so sorry, London, but...I just can't believe it's you!"
"Yeah, yeah, I know; you probably don't get too many famous people in here, do you?"
The man chuckled.
"London, don't you recognize me?"
London squinted.
"Um...should I?"
"Oh, the mask!"
The man grunted as he pulled it off. This time, it was London's turn to freeze. She gasped as his facial features came into view.
"Of course, the last time I was wearing a mask-"
"We kissed for the first time", London recalled. "Todd St. Mark?"
"It's great to see you again, London."
London rushed into his arms and he threw them around her, holding her close.
"Oh, Todd!" she said in between sobs. "I thought I'd never see you again!"
"Oh, London", Todd said, breathing in her scent. "My sweet, sweet London, how I've missed you."
They pulled apart and stared at each other, and then they kissed.
"Ow!"
London broke away, holding her jaw.
"Oh, right!" said Todd, guiding her back to the chair. "Let me, uh, fix you up first, and then we can talk."
London sighed contentedly as Todd got to work, happy to have her true love back in her life.
…
"Dad was furious when I got back to the hotel", Todd was saying as they talked over dinner at the Tipton Hotel's restaurant that night.
"My daddy threatened to lock me in my room for the rest of my life if I even thought about you again", said London, laughing at how silly her father's threat seemed right now.
"I missed your laugh."
"I missed your eyes."
"I missed talking to you."
"I missed texting you!"
They reached for each other across the small table and kissed.
"And I definitely missed that!" said London, and they kissed again.
…
Over the next few weeks, Todd and London spent every moment they could with each other. At first, they were worried about how their fathers would react, but then they realized it didn't matter; they were adults.
Maddie was thrilled once London told her that she had once again found her Romeo, and Bailey was surprised that London had never told her about Todd. Zack and Cody just reminisced about how they made that ball one the Tipton would never forget.
"Ah, good times", they said simultaneously.
A few months later, Todd proposed to London and she said yes. Everyone was invited to the wedding, even their fathers, who decided to put aside their differences for their children's benefit. The ceremony was beautiful, with Ivanna being the ring bearer.
"This is so romantic", Maddie said, holding Jeffery's hand as London walked past in her diamond-studded wedding gown.
"She looks beautiful", said Bailey, holding back tears.
"I can't believe she wasted those diamonds on a wedding dress!" Zack sobbed, thinking of how valuable it must have been.
…
During the reception, everyone watched as London and Todd shared their wedding cake, throwing pieces of it in each other's faces and kissing with cream all over their faces, just like their first kiss all those years ago.
As Cody and Bailey waltzed on the dance floor, Zack lingered by the buffet table while his date for that day was being admired by other men.
"I should have known to never bring a date more gorgeous than me", he thought.
"Zack?"
A girl with long brown hair wearing a purple flowery dress stepped out from behind a small crowd and chuckled.
"Zack Martin?"
"Maya?!"
"Yeah!"
"Maya!"
Zack ran over and pulled her into a hug.
"I-it's been so long since I've seen you!"
"I know, Graduation, right?!"
"How are you?!"
"How are you?!"
"I-I-I've missed you."
Maya's smile faded.
"I've missed you a lot, Maya. And I'm still in love with you."
Maya sniffled, fanning her face.
"Oh, Zack!" she said, pulling him in for a hug. "I've missed you, too! Wait; did you just say you were in love with me?"
"With all my heart."
Maya smiled and they kissed.
"Okay, people!" London said, standing up on stage with Todd. "It's time for me to toss the boo-kwet!"
"Bouquet!" the crowd said.
"Right; that, too!"
London giggled and smiled as she turned her back to the crowd.
"Here I go!"
She tossed the collection of flowers over her head and turned to see where it would land. Cody held hands with Bailey as it passed over their heads. Miley nuzzled into Jessie's side as it passed over theirs.
"Oh!"
Maya giggled as the bouquet landed in her hands.
"Well, would you look at that!" she said.
"Yeah", said Zack, staring into her eyes. "Look at that."
Maya blushed as Zack took her hand, and she smiled.
