THE KIDNAPPING
Hello to anyone reading this, this is my first fanfiction so please be kind. Constructive criticism is always welcome.
The wind blew across one Lily Potter's face as she smiled softly and with adoration to the little raven-haired baby in her arms. While she peeked from the open window from her house in Godric Hollow, waiting for her husband. Then she heard the familiar sound of the floor flaming and turned around only to be met with disappointment as instead of a raven-haired man with glasses, she saw a man who looked like a rat with watery blue eyes, a man by the name of Peter Pettigrew, who was also their secret keeper. He greeted her with a strained smile, which she returned, however, hers was a bit warmer and welcoming.
"Hello, Peter. How is it going? How is the recruitment going? Are you tired? Let me get you some coffee or pumpkin juice? " she fired question one after the other a testament to her worry.
'Hello, Lily" the man replied with a shaky laugh, which the redhead either didn't notice or chose to ignore "And I don't want to drink anything, just not feeling like it."
"What happened, all okay. Take a seat."
"Oh, just nothing. On second thought how about a glass of pumpkin juice."
"Wonderful. Hold Harry for a second !"The redhead said, giving the baby a small smile as the man-made himself comfortable in one of the cozy armchairs. To the untrained eye, he looked at ease, as one might when in the comfort of their friend's home, however to people who knew him he was tense his shoulders were stiff and his arms instead of being comfortable by his side were near his pockets which undoubtedly held his wand. However, he expertly held Harry Potter however this one's forehead had no scar. He was sleeping peacefully without any hint of worry and seemed to nestle himself between the man's arms.
This one is a little short not going to lie but I just wanted to see if anybody reads it. If you are reading this then please PM me or review it. I will continue the story further. This story is LOOSELY based on the Darkness Within. Also, I need a Beta reader anyone interested can PM me.
