"I can't believe Riggs". Owen tells Meredith as they walk into the hospital after Riggs had just told them he brought Amelia a drink.
"Amelia could off said something if she felt like she was struggling she could off come to either of us or Derek". Meredith comments as they get closer to the counter.
"Hey Guys". Derek says not aware of what's going on with his sister and looking up from a neuro scan.
"Hi. Great I was hoping I didn't have to punch him but it will give satisfaction". Owen greets Derek and tells Meredith as Riggs walks past them.
"Why what has Riggs done?". Derek questions trying to catch up.
"How's Amelia being to you?". Meredith asks her husband.
"In which way?". Derek questions.
"Generally". Meredith responds answering her husband.
"She seems fine to me". Derek tells the pair answering the question but still confused.
"Yeah she's far from it". Owen replies as Derek has a confused look on his face.
"What do you mean?". Derek questions and Owen gives Meredith a look indicating it's her turn to answer the question.
"She's relapsed Derek". Meredith tells her husband who looks shocked.
"What how did you find out? Was she high?". Derek questions very confused.
"No it's not drugs it's booze". Meredith answers him.
"As for finding out Riggs told us he brought her drink a couple of months back". Owen fills him in on the conversation they had earlier that day with Riggs.
"What?". Is all Derek can get out still in shock.
"Yep". Meredith replies.
"Right I will talk to her". Derek tells the pair heading to find his sister.
