Chapter 1

The rain fell like any other day in the Rain village. The world kept moving as if nothing was wrong. The world wasn't effected as a little girl ran as quietly, quickly, and without leaving much trace. Her red hair matted to her face, neck, and back. Clothes completely soaked, bare foot, hungry, sore, and exhaustion were all numbing most of her senses. She had to be free. She ran and ran. Turning her left grey eye and right blue eye behind her to check she wasn't being followed. The trees, plants, and rain were all that could be seen. The red head came to an abrupt stop as she ran into a boy. The boy turns to look at her. He has brown hair standing in all directions, dark sunglasses, and an overly large jacket. She gasps before exhaustion catches her by surprise and everything goes black.

The boy catches the girl as she starts to fall. Scratch marks, bruises, small cuts, and tattered clothes covered her pale small form. Something inside the boy was tugged toward the girl. His teammates come over to him. "Hey Shino, what did you find?"

The other male comes over. He has a white puppy sitting on his head under his hood. Careful to pick up the girl he slowly makes his way to the village. She was so light. He could feel her ribs against his chest. "A girl. She needs medical attention. Come on. We need to turn in the herbs."

Quietly he made his way to the village gates being careful not to hurt her. He was curious of the girl but she seemed to need sleep. He'll take her to get medical attention. When she wakes they'll get answers. The boy stops as the red slowly fades from her hair and silver hair is left in its place. A steady stream of red flows from her hair. The boy hastens his movements to the hospital.

Ame aches and fells a heavy weight on her body. She feels warm and safe. Sanitation and an array of delicious smells comes to her nose. She hears an annoying beeping that seems to change rhythm with her heart. Slowly she sits up. She can't open her eyes. Panic sits in. She reaches up and tries to pull at the thing blocking her vision. A hand gently stops her hands as she tries to rip the bandages off. "I-I will g-go tell them she is a-awake."

That was a female. Ame became scared. Had she been captured? Were they going to kill her? After the door closes shut. Her hands are gently set in her lap. Something is adjusted behind her. "Are you going to kill me?"

She puts her head down. Her body starts to shake out of fear. She didn't want to die. She had to find her father. He lives in the Leaf village.

"My name is Shino Aburame. You ran into me in the forest outside of the village."

Ame snaps her head up in the direction of his voice. "What village? Where am I?"

She jumps when the door opens. Her shaking worsens. Ame clenches the sheets in her fists and slinks back. The monitor quickens as her rate quickens. "Hello young lady. I am the third Hokage of the Leaf Village. Who-"

"Did you say the Leaf Village!? Please I'm looking for my father. He is from here. He might not know I exist though. So he might not know of me." Ame stops shaking out of fear but shakes with excitement.

"Easy child. We will help you look for him. I need you to tell me your story first. Let's start with your name."

Ame calms herself and looks toward her hand. At least she would if she could see. A small bug walks on her palm. She carefully closes her hand around it to keep it safe. Making sure not to crush it.

"My name is Ame. Ame Uzamaki."
