A/N so before you start reading this is when Zikki is back together and Clewis is going strong, so is Wella and a surprise- Emma is back in town with her boyfriend Ash Dove. Set 5 years after Graduation. I am only ten years old so if you want any improvements or want me to check on Grammar or Spelling, I will be happy to do so.
Chapter 1- Good and Bad surprises…
It was early morning and Cleo was already up. She was ringing her most trusted friend- Emma. Cleo didn't feel well, and she wanted Emma to come over to her house. Emma was telling her that Ash was still asleep, and she couldn't possibly come over because she'd wake him up. From their bedroom, Emma heard Ash mumble, "Go. I'm up now thanks to your noisy chattering." Emma smiled and told Cleo that she'd be right there.
When Emma came, Cleo was pacing down the kitchen not knowing what the matter with her was. "Hey Cleo!" Emma shouted from the door, "Are you coming or what?" Cleo was violently sick, and Emma had heard. "Never mind," She muttered to herself. She got out her key to Cleo and Lewis' home and rushed in. She got out her phone and dialled Rikki and Bella's number's in and waited for them to pick up. Predictably, they were both still asleep and they had to get out of bed to answer. "What?" they asked simultaneously. Emma filled them in with the details and ten minutes later they came to the door. Lewis answered this time oblivious to what was going on. "Hi…" he said. Rikki told him what Emma had told her and he replied with "I didn't even know Emma was here! I must have slept through it all!" Bella sighed and ran through the door with Rikki and Lewis following close behind.
Meanwhile at Will and Bella's boatshed….
Will had finally woken up and he discovered Bella wasn't there. He rang Lewis asking if he had seen Bella. Lewis told him everything that had happened, and Bella was there and okay. Suddenly, Will heard a crash through the phone. Hurriedly, Lewis said that he had to go and declined the call.
Lewis's P.O.V
Oh god, oh god, oh god. I don't know what's happening. I knew that Cleo hadn't been feeling too good lately, but this is more serious that I ever could have thought. Rikki had called me in telling me I had to hurry. Cleo was on the floor and bleeding profusely from her head. I got our thermometer and held it to her ear. After I took it out, I read the temperature. It was 101o c. I wanted to cry and scream but instead I handed it to Bella and started taking her blood pressure. It was 10mmHg. I take a huge breath in. "She has really low blood pressure. Has she been sick or?" Emma paled. She nodded. "When I first came." I get my phone out and ring 000. I describe symptoms I tell them what has happened I tell her that she's bleeding badly from her head. It's not right. They tell me that they will send an ambulance immediately. I nod at them signalling that an ambulance is coming. Then the mask slips. I start crying.
Emma's P.O.V
I've never seen Lewis like this, though to be honest I see why. I google up causes of low blood pressure. One of them is pregnancy. I know that's not true. They aren't even married yet though I do know that Lewis was going to ask her tonight.
Rikki's P.O.V.
I can't believe it. Emma shows me her phone and I gasp. I mind-speak to Emma. It's a power we've recently got. We need to tell Lewis Em. She replies to me saying that's true let's do it in a minute. I show Bella Emma's phone and she's just as shocked as we are. "Lewis," I begin, "Emma's just searched up low blood pressure on her phone and…. one of the causes of it is pregnancy." He looks up with tear-stained eyes. "B-b-but…." He stammers. "That can't be true. Em what are the other symptoms?" Emma looks on her phone, "The others are old age, diet, injury, time of the day, dehydration, environmental temperature, stress, illness, and medicines." We suddenly hear a knock at the door. "Come in," Lewis says. They take one look at her and get her on a stretcher. "One of you can come in the ambulance." All of us want to come but we know she needs Lewis the most. He looks at us and we nod.
Bella's P.O.V
I'm in literal shock. One of my best friends look like they are dead, and they are being carried away on a stretcher. She was fine yesterday when we went to Mako. That's where we are swimming to now. We go through the entrance and surface. Emma tells us that the only reason that she rang her first was because she lived the closest. We tell her that we don't mind, and it doesn't matter. Rikki dries us off and suddenly her phone starts ringing. It's Lewis.
Rikki's P.O.V
I'm scared to answer the phone, but I know I have to. I pick up the phone and Lewis's voice floods my ear. "Rikki? So, we're almost as A&E and apparently her breathing has got worse. She's been put on an oxygen machine and her blood pressures got even worse. Her temperature is now 127oC and. Wait I've got to go! Bye!"
Lewis's P.O.V
I look down at the love of my life. I can't bear to see her like this. I close my eyes willing her to sit up and tell me I've had a horrible nightmare. I open my eyes. She's still there looking as lifeless as ever. I can't bear it. I'm just repeating it over and over again. We're now at A&E and I get out of the ambulance, Cleo being lifted afterwards. I open my eyes and we are in the hospital. She is being carried into an intensive care room and she's going to have an operation late to attach these things into her body.
