Mistletoe – The Tree of Reincarnation
The land of Mistletoe was ruled by two birds that possessed the power of gods. With time passing, both birds build two kingdoms. The Blue Bird ruled the Kingdom of Blue Oak and the red bird ruled the Kingdom of Gui Vermillion.
Both kingdoms had different ideas about living. Blue Bird believed that no one was good or evil; it was their greed that makes them do bad deeds. They must be given another chance to change themselves. The Kingdom of Blue Oak was preached to be peaceful.
Red Bird believed that one who was evil will always be evil no matter how many chances they are given. The Kingdom of Gui Vermillion believed in violence but the kingdom was as peaceful as of Blue Oak.
With their difference in thinking, both kingdoms started a blood war. Both birds evolve to pass down their power from generation to generation so the chain of mortality will always run.

After a thousand years of enmity, the king of Gui Vermillion fell in love with the queen of Blue Oak. The war paused for a few years. The current king of Gui Vermillion, Hans Westergaard waited for few years to propose to the queen of Blue Oak, Elsa Arnadalr
Hans' eyes were fixated at the ring in the box as he waited for the agreement for the marriage. He was 26 and if he waited a few more years the war may begin again.
"The papers are here." Came in General Astrid with the message. Hans tied a ribbon on the box and gave it to General Astrid. Astrid took in with hesitation, she believed that the Blue Oak will turn the marriage down but her unconditional love for the king was the actual reason for her hesitation. Her unconditional love for the king was left unseen by Hans.
King Hans turned to Lieutenant Kristoff and asked him, "Where is my brother?" Lieutenant Kristoff replied, "The Prince is once again joking around with his powers, Your Majesty."
hans went out of the Palace, into the woods to find Prince Hiccup. Hiccup was sitting on the bank of the pond and frying fishes with his magic. Hans sighed and patted his head. "You must not use your powers in such a way, Prince."
Hiccup smiled and said, "I'm sorry, Your Majesty. I was just practicing what powers I was given. After all, the king possesses the whole power of the Red Bird."
"You will unlock the whole power someday. Don't worry," hans patted his back, "Come on, let's go back to the castle.

The Queen of Blue Oak, Elsa Arnadalr stared out of the window, at her army being trained. Princess Anna came in with the box of the ring in her hand. She believed both kingdoms will end the war someday and live together peacefully. She had a smile on her face as she handed the box and the paper to her older sister. Elsa opened the box and found a ring with a blue rare stone that was only found on the land of the kingdom of Gui Vermillion. She read the paper where the king had confessed his unconditional love for her. Queen Elsa had hesitation in her mind as in the past when both Birds decided to work together they were torn apart by a third party.
"Accept it," said Anna from behind, "We believe in peace and this will bring peace." Anna was unaware of the thing on Elsa's mind, she always thought of it being a fairytale. She turned away and went out of the room. Elsa looked down at the paper. There were two circles for both kingdoms to draw their sign and between both trees was the picture of the lost tree of mistletoe.
Elsa picked up the pen and drew the sign of Blue Oak with blue ink in the left circle. She still had hesitation but if it was for the peace she would do anything.

King Hans was so happy to see the queen's initials on the paper. He drew Gui Vermillion's sign with red ink in the right circle and passed it to General Astrid. Astrid held the paper with a look of sadness. The paper was sent to the Kingdom of Blue Oak.
The marriage was in the temple of Blue Oak that was situated in the middle of the forest. No one except the King, Queen, and the priestess was allowed inside the temple, or around the temple. General Astrid was at the entrance of the temple.
Prince Hiccup wanted to see his brother's marriage so he wandered off to the temple. He hid behind a tree and then suddenly heard rustling in the woods. He looked behind in the deep darkness of the forest. Suddenly, Princess Anna came out of the woods. She was there for the same reason as him.
Hiccup fell in love just when he saw Anna. Anna saw the first person of the Gui Vermillion and never thought she would fall in love with him. Hiccup started chatting with her and wanted to show off his powers to her.
In the temple, the priestess told Elsa and Hans to unleash their power to join them. elsa was wearing a blue wedding gown and a blue coat over it that reach to the ground. Hans was wearing a black and red robe and over it a golden and maroon coat with vermillion fur. Elsa and Hans were standing face to face and hold their hand. Then, they unleash their magic and transparent wings of their respective color appear on their back.
Back in the forest, Hiccup was trying to control the fire on a piece of a stick standing upright from the ground. He failed and ignited the fire instead. Anna tried to help but she couldn't use much of her magic herself. They both laughed at their failed magic. They were more attracted to each other.
Hans and Elsa were about to join their magic. Hans was so happy that he couldn't hide it. Elsa was just smiling. Suddenly, Elsa saw the third party attacking Hans. Elsa was scared and started walking backward. Hans was confused.
The god of fate preferred it to sound crueler. In a matter of seconds, an arrow went through Hans' chest. He gasped for air. His vision started to get blurry as Elsa ran away from there. He felt Hiccup was going away from him too and he took his last breath. The current Red Bird was dead.

Hiccup came back to the Palace and saw General Astrid standing in front of a coffin. He hurriedly went to her. He turned her back and saw her crying for her beloved's death. He saw his brother was in the coffin. All the memories of them started to come in his mind – How he warned him for using the magi carefully, how he saved him when he almost burned himself with his magic, and how he used to play along with his jokes.
'Grieving, screaming, I've lost my voice.' Hiccup mourned till night in front of his brother's dead body. 'No matter how much I cry, I can't bring them back.'
The cage of the Red Bird broke.
Hiccup unlocked his powers of the Red Bird. He thought that the Queen of Blue Oak has killed his brother. He was furious and went alone to seek revenge.
Queen Elsa wrapped crying Anna into her arms as she watched the new Red Bird burning her kingdom in flames to seek revenge for the former Red Bird's death. Elsa couldn't tell anyone about the wedding. She sent Princess Anna from a secret pathway out of the castle, into the forest, where no one could find her.
Anna watched from the forest the Blue Bird and Red Bird fighting each other. The Blue Bird and the Red Bird took flight and still fought. From the distance, she saw the Red Bird assassin the Blue Bird.
Memories of Elsa came to her mind – How she looked at her when she went away after telling her to accept the proposal, how she looked at the engagement ring, and fell in love with the former Red Bird and how happy she was in the morning of the wedding. She watched the Blue Bird falling down to the ground.
The cage of the Blue Bird broke.
Transparent blue wings started to come out of Anna's back as she fell into the deep darkness of truth and became the new Blue Bird and Queen of the Kingdom of Blue Oak.
History repeats itself, the fight is never over.
