Hello Miraculers! So I've watched the 2nd episode of the season 4 : Lie, this Morning and I'immediately had this idea. And of course, I needed to write it asap.So here it is.
There's a really light spoiler of the episode in this story, but you can really read it even if you haven't watch it yet. (just a scene where Chat Noir order a glas of milk, than a double milk, because he's waiting for Ladybug.)
This story is a gift for my " just good friends" Anaïs and Giulia (yeah, I know you like this sentence girls XD)
Have a good reading,
Again, Chat Noir was waiting for Ladybug to show up for their usual Saturday patrol. And again, he waited alone on top of a rooftop for a long time. She was busy, he knew it. With all the new guardian stuff, with the fifteen kwamis who were now living with her, but also her civilian life.
He was not mad at her. Not at all. However, he'd to admit that she was the ray of sun that lightened his long and boring days and, seeing her less and less often gave him the feeling of not knowing how to breathe anymore.
So now, he was there, as usual, drinking a glass of milk at the Grand Paris's bar, listening to Chloé's complaints about her nails.
Chat sighed and finished his drink. His gaze lost on the empty glass. Then he looked up to the butler. "I will take another double milk, please"
"Are you sure, Monsieur Chat Noir ? It's your fourth double milk today. That's a lot of milk, even for a cat." the butler answered him with a worried look.
Well, Jean-Yves, Jean-Bernard or Jean-Pierre, whatever his name, was right.
The feline hero sighed again, "okay, it's the last one, I'll go then. I purromise," he answered, defeated.
He quickly drank the double milk. Then, when he felt his stomach tighten and his heart pounding strongly in his head, he thought that the last one was maybe a bad idea.
He left the palace, stopping first on the hotel's rooftop, then opened his stick in phone mode.
"No messages, but don't forget my cheese." — " This is Ladybug, leave a message."
Well, at least, no patrol, no Akuma, he could go home, lie on his bed rolled like a ball of fur and have a cat nap.
That's what he thought. Until a thread came from nowhere, wrap around his ankle and make him lose his balance. A second later, he was suddenly suspended head down, feeling nauseous.
Then, he was towed up and it was there that he saw her.
"Hello, Bugaboo, I'm feline good now that you're here," he purred.
"Hi, Chaton, sorry for the delay, Pollen and Trixx had eaten Tikki's macarons. Then I had to settle a conflict between Xuppu and Wayzz," she explained, really sorry.
"It's okay. But now, it's not that I don't like seeing you from all angles, but I'm starting to get a little dizzy. Can you get me back on the ground?" he asked, teasing her.
Ladybug squealed, eyes-widened then hastened to get him back slowly on the roof. She reached out and helped him get up.
Chat Noir kept her hand in his, and slowly carried it to his lips to lay a tender kiss on her knuckles.
"I waited patiently and calmly for you, m'Lady, can this good kitty get the cream now?" he said, giving her a seductive wink.
Oh... Was it a blush that he saw blooming under her mask? So cute.
"Chat! Have you been drinking milk again?" she exclaimed, worried.
He grinned and leaned toward her face. "Yes, m'Lady, a lot of milk."
"It's not good for you, Chaton, you should know by now..." She sighed, tapping her finger on his nose and pushing him back slightly.
"Aw, this angry face, I really missed it. I love it, you know."
She crossed her arms on her chest, looking in disappointment at him. "Yes, I'm angry, because you know that you don't tolerate milk well and that your humor is even more awful after an indigestion." She looked at him from head to toe, then gave him a little smirk. "Look at you, you're milk drunk."
"Is it a milky pun m'Lady? You're doing well. But, it's normal, you've learned from the best," he exclaimed, making his bell ring proudly . "Besides, I know you love my humor, you confessed it to me, remember? And I know you love me, anyway."
She didn't answer, but he saw her rolling her eyes as usual. And, oh, was it another blush dusting her cheeks and a discreet smile stretching the corner of her lips?
"Well, I better go, I feel a bit nauseous. See you on the next patrol Bugaboo, Fur real this time," he purred, grinning and sending her another wink. Then he extended his baton and propelled himself out of sight, leaving her alone on the roof.
"Silly Kitty… of course I love you," she said tenderly, smiling softly. "Uh! Did I really say that?"
Stupid cat with his silly seductive look, and his stupid funny puns. Uh, she was so screwed.
