Renkotsu's attempt at Revenge.
Renotsu is walking down a river cursing himself out. He's cursing at himself because he failed to get Koga's jewel shards. Renkotsu wants Koga's jewel because he wants to kill Bankotsu. Just then Renkotsu came across Bankotsu. The black haired young man told Renkotsu. That there are only three members of the band of seven. There is only Bankotsu, Renkotsu, and Jakostu left. Renkotsu nodded and hopes he can use Bankotsu. To help him get revenge on Inuyasha.
"Hey Bankotsu Naraku wants us to kill his enemies right?"asked Renkotsu
"Yes that's right he wants Inuyasha and friends dead." replied Bankotsu
"Maybe you can help me finish off Inuyasha. I just got into a bit of a battle with him and Koga. Inuyasha is in rough shape. So I came to find you in hopes. That you could help me." coaxed Renkotsu
"Sure I will help you finish off Inuyasha. Let's see where he goes to hide and go from there." assured Bankotsu
Bankotsu and Renkotsu had the saimyosho go find Inuyasha. And to follow him see where he goes. With Inuyasha, Kagome, Shippo, and Kirara. They are heading into the forest to find a place. To stay and wait for Sango and Miroku to come back from Mount Hakurei. And to make things worse tonight is the night of the new moon. Kagome has given Inuyasha his robe of the fire rat back to him. And what they don't know is that they are being followed by saimyosho. Soon they the small group found an abandoned hut and went in. The saimyosho stayed near by until the sun started to set. Then they flew off to find Bankotsu and Renkotsu. While the saimyosho were spying on Inuyasha.
Renkotsu asked Bankotsu to help him get more oil, fire bombs, and another fire cannon from his hideout. Just then the saimyosho flew up to the men. They looked at the insects and knew what they were saying.
"So what's the plan Renkotsu?" asked Bankotsu
"Let's set the surrounding forest and rivers on fire. Then fire my cannons to flush him out. Let's see if they survive that." replied Renkotsu
With that said Bankotsu and Renkotsu got work. They poured oil around the edge of the forest that the group is in. Then they filled the village the river with oil. The men then set the oil on fire. Bankotsu and Renkotsu found a cliff near by. The sun has set and it's dark. But they can see the glow of the dire. Renkotsu lite some fire bombs then gave them to Bankotsu. Then Renkotsu picked up a fire cannon. Bankotsu threw the fire bombs into the forest below. At the same time Renkotsu started firing his cannon. In the abandoned hut Inuyasha, Kagome, Shippo, and Kirara. Can hear explosions and know it's Renkotsu. Just then the explosions got to close.
"We better get out of here." suggested Inuyasha
Kirara went outside and transformed. Kagome, Inuyasha, and Shippo, went to go outside and can smell smoke. Inuyasha went to take off his robe. But Kagome stopped him and said "No Inuyasha leave your robe on. You're still recovering from the last attack. Cover your head so that they don't see you in your human form." Inuyasha nodded and covered his head with his robe. Then he, Kagome, and Shippo went out and got on Kirara's back. The cat demon took off through the forest. She's trying to find a gap in the trees. So she can fly above the forest. But the forest is thick so she is flying through the forest. As she flew she dodging flaming trees and explosions.
Suddenly Inuyasha fell off of Kirara's back. He quickly got to his feet. Inuyasha was about to run to catch Kirara. But he can hear a little kid crying. So Inuyasha decided to follow the crying. Soon he found a little girl knelt down.
"Hey kid where are your parents?" asked Inuyasha
"We got separated in the fire." the little girl replied
Inuyasha picked up the little girl and ran. Soon he could see Kirara coming toward him. Suddenly a tree that's on fire fell in front of Inuyasha.
"Kirara get Kagome and Shippo out of here! I'll catch up later!" ordered Inuyasha
The cat demon turned and flew off. Inuyasha took off his robe and draped it over the little girl. Then he turned and ran as fat as he can. With Kagome and Shippo Kagome isn't liking. Being separated from Inuyasha especially tonight. With Inuyasha he's getting tired. He looked up at the sky and can see that it's Starting to get lighter meaning that the sun is going to raise soon. Sudden'y Inuyasha stopped dead in his tracks. He has made it to the river which is on fire. Inuyasha looked around and can't see another way around. So he back up as far as he could. He held the little girl tight then.
Took off as fast as he can run. When he got to the river bank he jumped. He was was half way across when he realized that he sin't going to make it. He fell into the flaming water. Inuyasha tried to swim to shore. But the current is to strong. So he is concentrating on keeping his and the little girl's heads above water. Suddenly Inuyasha can hear the roar of a waterfall. He looked up at the sky and can tell that the sun is rising. Just as he went over the waterfall Inuyasha. Can fell his demonic powers starting to return. Holding the little girl close Inuyasha went over the waterfall. On the way down his body hit a couple of boulders. Then he hit the water below.
He can feel his body floating down the river. Soon he washed up along the shore. Inuyasha struggled to his feet and walked onto river bank. His legs gave out and he fell to the ground. He's laying on his side so he moved the fire rat. The little girl looked at him and looks a little confused.
"Don't worry little one you're safe." assured Inuyasha
The little girl got up and sat next to Inuyasha. Inuyasha can still smell smoke. And he could smell rain coming. So he looked at the little girl.
"Go on now try to go find your parents or find help." I can't get back up." suggested Inuyasha
The little girl nodded and went to give him his robe back to him.
"Take it with you it will protect you." stated Inuyasha
The little girl nodded again and ran off. Inuyasha watched the little girl run off. Then he closed his eyes and lost consciousness. Kirara is now flying above the forest. Clouds are starting to gather and Kagome is hoping to find Inuyasha before it rains. Just then Kagome can see a twister. The twister is outside of the forest fire. Kagome knows that the twister is Koga.
"Kirara let's go see is Koga will help us." suggested Kagome
"Kagome are you crazy Koga and Inuyasha hate each other?" asked Shippo
"We need all the help we can get right now Shippo." stated Kagome
Kirara landed in front of the twister and it disappeared. Now they can see Koga and he looks better. Than the last time that htey saw him.
"Hey Kagome it's good to see you." assured Koga
"Koga can you help me find Inuyasha? We got separated in the forest fire." asked Kagome
Koga rolled his eyes and said "I'll do it for you Kagome." With that said Koga ran off and Kirara flew off. Kagome pointed at the river and said "Let's follow the river." Kirara flew over the river and followed it. As Kirara flew she flew by a waterfall. Kagome and Shippo are looking all around for Inuyasha. But so far they haven't see anything yet. Kirara kept following the river. Shippo who is on Kirara's head can see a flash of red.
"I think I can see red up ahead!" shouted Shippo
Kagome looked ahead also and can see red. Soon they can see three people up ahead. But the one wearing red is to small to be Inuyasha. Kirara landed and Kagome asked "Excuse me where did you get that red robe?"
"My daughter says that she got it from a dog man." replied the man
"The friend that we looking for. If half dog demon and that is his robe." explained Kagome
The little girl went up to Kirara and gave Kagome the robe. Kagome took the robe from the little girl.
"Where is the dog man?"asked Kagome
The little girl pointed up the river and said "He's up that way I think he's hurt." Kagome had Kirara fly back up the river. The cat demon flew low so they can see better. Just then Kagome can see more red up ahead.
"Kirara land here." advised Kagome
The cat demon landed and Kagome got off of her back. She ran up the river bank and gasped when she found Inuyasha. Kagome went up to Inuyasha and checked his pulse. She sighed in relief when she felt his pulse. The young woman is worried considering. Inuyasha's eyes are closed and he isn't moving. Just then Kagome can hear someone running toward them. She looked and saw Ginta and Hakkaku.
"Hi Ginta and Hakkaku I'm glad to see you guys." stated Kagome
The two wolf demons went up to Kagome and saw Inuyasha on the ground.
"What happened to him?"asked Ginta
"We got separated in the fire. So I'm not sure." replied Kagome
Kagome got back Kirara's back. Then she asked "Can you guys pick up Inuyasha? And put him on Kirara's back?" Ginta and Hakkaku nodded and picked up Inuyasha and he groaned. They laid Inuyasha on Kirara's back.
"Thank you when you two catch up with Koga. Please let him know that I found Inuyasha." thanked Kagome
"Sure thing." assured Ginta
"Come on Kirara let's go find a safe place.." suggested Kagome
Kirara nodded and took off to find a safe place. Clouds continued to gather and then it started to rain. Kagome used Inuyasha's robe as a rain coat. To keep her, Shippo, and Inuyasha dry. Soon Kirara landed and went into a cave. She laid down and Kagome slid off Kirara's back. Carefully Kagome slid Inuyasha off of Kirara's back. Then she covered him with robe. Kagome sat next to Inuyasha and watched the rain. They spent the rest of the day and into the night in the cave. It's late so Kagome cuddled up to Kirara. Shippo cuddled up to Kagome and they went to sleep. In the morning Kagome woke when the sun shined into the cave.
She sat up and looked over at Inuyasha. Shippo and Kirara also woke up. Just then Inuyasha moaned but didn't open his eyes. Kagome looked and saw that Inuyasha had a painful look on his face. She stood and went to leave the cave.
"Shippo you and Kirara stay here. I'm going to try to find an herb for Inuyasha's pain." stated Kagome
The young woman left the cave. She looked around and then walked away from the cave. Kagome walked into the forest. She searched for an herb for pain. Soon she found the herb. She doesn't have any water with her. And she doesn't have a bucket to get water. So she will have to try to get Inuyasha to eat the herb. She went back to the cave and went in. Kagome went up to Inuyasha and sat down.
"Ok Inuyasha I have an herb that will help with pain. But you have to eat it." coaxed Kagome
Inuyasha opened his mouth and Kagome put the herb in his mouth. The hanyou ate the herb then swallowed. Hours later the sun was starting to set. Just then they heard Inuyasha moan again. They watched as Inuyasha opened his eyes.
"Hey Inuyasha how are you feeling?" asked Kagome
"I'm sore but other than that I'm alright." replied Inuyasha
Inuyasha looked around and asked "Did the little girl find help or her parents?"
"I think she found her parents. We came across her while we were looking for you." replied Kagome
"Sorry Kagome you told me not to take off my robe. But I didn't want her to get hurt." stated Inuyasha
"It's ok just tell me what happened." assured Kagome
"Not long after I fell off Kirara. I could hear crying so I followed. The sound of crying and found the little girl. Then I picked her up and went to catch up to you guys. Then when I saw Kirara coming the flaming tree separated us. I took off my robe and put it on the girl. Then I took off running and I ran until I got to the river. There was no other way around so I backed up, ran, and tried to jump the river. But I didn't make it and wound up in the river. I went over a waterfall. Once I got to shore I got to my feet. Then I collapsed and told her to either find her parents or help. I had her take my robe with her." explained Inuyasha
Kagome smiled and said "Inuyasha I am so proud of you. Now just rest." The next day Inuyasha is up and around and feeling better. He, Kagome, Shippo, and Kirara headed toward Mount Hakurei. They are hoping to catch up with Sango and Miroku. Who went into the mountain hoping to dispel the barrier. Six day later the barrier around Mount Hakurei is gone, Mount Hakurei is gone, the band of seven are all dead, Naraku came out of hiding, and Inuyasha and his friends are back together. Now they are looking for the final jewel shard. And they have been villages that have become over run with demons. Right now Inuyasha and his friends are at a village.
The village is under attack by demons. Kagome is firing her arrows, Sango is using her hiraikotsu, Miroku is using his wind tunnel, and Inuyasha is slicing through demons with Tessaiga. He sin't using the wind scar because they are to close to houses. In one of the houses with her parents is. The little girl that Inuyasha rescued from the fire. Her name is Akari and she and her parents are. Watching group of people fighting the demons. Just then Akari's father saw a demon wearing red.
"Look dear there is a demon with this group and he is wearing red." stated Akari's father
Akari and her mother looked out the windows. Akari's father recognizes the cat demon and the black haired young woman.
"That must be the demon that rescued out daughter." stated Akari's mother
"That's because that is the demon. That saved me" assured Akari
Soon the group took care of all of the demons. Now that it's safe the villagers are coming out of their homes. Akari rushed passed her parents and headed toward Inuyasha. Inuyasha sheathed Tessaiga and heard "Dog man it's you." The hanyou looked and saw a little girl running toward him. He smiled he knows that the little girl running toward him. Is the little girl that he rescued. He know down as the little girl ran up to him.
"Hi dog man it's good to see you." stated Akari happily
"Please don't call me dog man. My name is Inuyasha." coaxed Inuyasha
"My name is Akari and thank you for saving me." thanked Akari
Inuyasha patted Akari on the head and said "You're welcome." Just then Inuyasha saw two people behind Akari so he stood up.
"Yes thank you so much for saving our daughter. She is our only child." thanked Akari's father and mother
"You're welcome I couldn't just leave her there to die. And I'm glad that she found you." assured Inuyasha
Soon Inuyasha and his friends left the village. They went on to finding the final jewel shard. Inuyasha learned three new attacks with Tessaiga. He and his friends defeated Naraku. And after being separated from Kagome for three years. Kagome came back to the feudal era to be with Inuyasha. As for Akari she never forgot about Inuyasha. She grew up and got married. And when she had her first child which turned out to be a girl. Akari decided to name her daughter Asha in honor of Inuyasha. Inuyasha's friends Miroku and Sango got married and had three kids. And Inuyasha and Kagome also got married. And had children of their own.
