Chapter 1
Boy meets Burrow Girl
A teen looking no older than 14 is walking through a forest he is wearing a ripped up black and red coat, a blue shirt, and some jeans. The most unordinary thing about him was a his skin and eye color both were a light orange. He reached a city when suddenly the ground started shaking. "What on earth..." He ran toward the source of the shaking and found a purple girl in what appers to be a jumpsuit. She lifted her head from the ground, gasping for air and spit out water multiple times.
"I'm on the surface. I'm on the surface." She looked at the sun and jumped back. "The sun!" She started jumping around. "I looked at the sun! I'll go blind!"
"Well the sun doesn't hurt your eyes unless you've been in the dark for a long time." She then opened her eyes and looked at the boy. "Who are you?" She asked him. "Who are you?" He shot back, she ignored his question.
"I can't be here. I can't be here. I can't be here." She ran to a sewer that was covered with rocks. She tried pushing the rocks. "It's pull not push I don't think you'll be able to pull either, those look like some heavy rocks." He told her, in response she climbed them and shouted in a gap between the rocks.
"Dad! Can you hear me?" The only response she got was her voice echoing back. Disapointed she turned back and looked at the boy who was now looking at her with a poker face most likely annoyed that she ignored his question from earlier.
"I think we got off on the wrong foot my name is Kipo." He stopped using his pokerface and smiled. "Names Taylor."
The camera then cuts to the two of them walking in the middle of a street with Kipo looking around at all sides, nervous that something would jump out at them. "Relax Kipo it's fine." Taylor said trying to calm her down but something zipped behind them, adding to her paranoia. She looked to her left and saw huge flowers of all different colors, sprouting from a building.
"Flowers," She started. "A lot bigger than they are in book."
"Oh, your one of those burrow people?" Taylor asked Kipo.
"Yeah, how did you know?"
"Well you said books and your outfit kinda gives away that your not from around here." He explained. Kipo took a moment to look at herself. "I guess I do need some new clothes..."
After some time of wandering around they approached a store and Kipo ran in and grabbed an acoustic guitar while Taylor was standing up waiting for her to start playing.
"Up on top, on my own. A human girl so far from home. The flowers are big. The bees are weird. It's dangerous. Just like I feared. On the surface world-"
"Ah!" Taylor shouted. Suddenly a big bird poked it's head through a hole where Kipo was sitting making the girl jump and run along with Taylor.
"Get away!" They ran and hid in a car watching the bird fly away.
"Hmm... Let's see," Kipo started using her finger to make images on the dusty windshield. "The current took me left, then right." She drew a "U" shape sideways. "And then there was the long part." She drew a long line going left. "And the... And the short part.'
"I don't think she remembers anything after that..." Taylor whispered to himself. "And then the loop-dee-do. And then I went way over here, so, my home must be in this direction." She said looking at her map. "Or was it left, then loop-dee-do? Or...or...loop-dee-do, then left?" She groaned and wiped off the map from the windshield.
"Hey, don't stress out, I'm sure we'll find your home." Taylor reassured Kipo. She looked at him. "Thanks."
