"James! Get down you have had way much to drink." Lupin pleaded, an unwary James. "Ah, thank Godric you are here Evan's, Prongs and Pads had to much to drink after the quidditch finals."
Lily laughed and stepped over to James and Sirius attempting to pull them down from the table. That was until James started weeping and singing, and surprisingly he wasn't bad.
"Singing, she's a she's a lady... and I am just a line without a hook... Oh baby I am a wreak when I'm without you..." James continued to sing, and pulled Lily onto the table with him.
Remus sighed and shot Lily an apologetic look, however Lily's eyes were locked with James. It was almost as if she was actually enjoying his company.
He leaned in to kiss her, but she pulled away. He went silent, and Pad-foot started screaming, "Prongs is rejected!" Remus ran over and shoved his hand on-top of him mouth to muffle the screaming.
Lily then turned away, thinking about her parents deaths, and Sev and her friendship break. She didn't even know if she wanted her first kiss to be with that toe rag.
But, she now turned to face James, his blue eyes glistening onto her green. He has been so kind to her, he was trying to make amends, he changed.
He went from the innocent toe rag, that she wanted to feed to a squid. To a somewhat stable man, with a ton of kindness and greatness in his heart.
He may be drunk at the moment, but he seemed to have some idea to what he was doing. Lily looked around the common room, and just didn't think, didn't care.
She kissed him, he kissed her back. They were standing there for minutes, lips locked. She then giggled, and he looked at her surprised.
She scanned the room, almost unsure to see the faces her fellow friends, and colleagues were to say.
Remus looked as though he had jumped off the Empire State Building, but yet he was happy. His hand still clasped over Sirius's mouth.
Sirius was surprised, but he was so drunk he barley noticed.
Peter shrunk into Rat form on accident, but no one noticed but Lily. Marlene looked confused, but almost overly happy. Alice clapped and screamed. Frank tried to calm down Alice.
Emmeline lifted her eyes from her book for moments, before diving in again.
And the last face she was dreading to see, James.
Except he hid his surprise well, and smiled at her. He looked as though he had kissed the hottest, best woman in the whole world. Of course he did in his opinion.
Lily may, or may have not.. just kissed James... and liked it.
