Chapter 1

Rey flew through the air, aiming for the ledge a head of her. She stumbled onto it just a lightsaber swung where she was. She jumped again onto another platform.

Her lungs were killing her, but there was no time to catch her breath. She leapt onto another platform, but she miscalculated and she barely caught the ledge.

"Eeek!" she pushed up her legs as the lightsaber slashed on the cliff side below. She finally managed to haul herself over the cliff.

'I'm tired of running!" she thought. She twisted around and swung her lightsaber at the assailant.

"You're never going to hit someone with a form like that," Master Luke said as he easily dodged her swings.

He counter attacked her with his own lightsaber. She was able to block it, but only barely.

"You also need to work on your blocking," he said.

Rey growled in response, but she finally gave up with a sigh.

"Why am I failing so much?" she asked as they shut off their lightsabers.

"Because you are young and inexperienced. Once you've gone through the proper training, you will become better,"

"But trainings sooo boring! It's always the same! I either fight you and lose, or fight the dumb robot!"

Luke tried to not groan. "Since training is so boring Rey, why don't you do some meditation instead,"

Rey felt like fighting, but she knew that Master Luke wasn't going to budge. With a sigh, she floated down from cliff and onto the hill below.

Luke watched her as she made her way through the small village. It was moments like these that showed just how isolated they were on Ahco to. Maybe that's where lied the problem.

He floated down to the hills and made his way to his hut. The villagers stopped talking when he passed.

The hut was dark, so he turned on the small lantern and opened one of the ancient Jedi texts. He had read them all over and over again, but perhaps he could find something new to help him.

He flipped through the books, but could find nothing to solve his problems.

He closed the books with a sigh. "What am I going to do now?" he asked out loud.

"A friend, Rey needs," Master Yoda said. Luke whirled around to see Master Yoda sitting on his bed.

"And where do you expect me to find her a friend?" he asked with a hint of sarcasm.

"Will tell, the force," Master Yoda said.

Luke hopped that it wouldn't be case, but he wasn't surprised. He made his way out the door of the hut.

"May the force be with you," Master Yoda said before he disappeared.
