"So are you going to see her?" Yuto watched his best friend Shun asked Ruri.
"Yes brother. Me and the girls were going to Yuzu's to have dinner since we figured that we should get to know each other."
"Okay."
"Say," The purple-haired girls sudden looking over towards him made him jump a tad. "how about you have dinner with, Yuya? You two probably missing each other after months of being apart."
"I can't."
Ruri gave a questioning, yet a slight concern look.
"You should see him. You may act differently now, but deep down, you're still the same."
Despite Yuto's serious face, he was unsure about his friend's words.
Over with Yuya, the Christmas themed hair duelist lied in his bed staring at the ceiling with a serious expression before he said "Hey Yuto?" His eyes widen as he looked around. "Right." Yuto was back in his body now, not even Yugo and Yuri are right there for him to talk too. Siting up and sighing, he gave sadden yet kind of annoyed face. He couldn't shake this hollow void for a while now. He stopped Leo and Zarc, stopped the merging of the 4 dimensions and he and his counterparts, and back home after all this time, however something was missing.
Ring.
As the door bell rang, the red-eyed duelist gained a baffle look. Could that be Yuzu? If so, then what did she want? He gotten out of bed and head out. As soon he made half way down the stairs, he caught the sight of mom in front of the opened door talking to someone. But who?
"Sure, you can." His turned behind her and saw him. "Hey Yuya."
"What's happening mom?" He questioned as he walked towards her.
Just then, he stopped, shocked as it soon became visible of whom was on the other side.
"Wo, Yuto, Yugo, Yuri , and Yuzu are all... here?"
"Hi Yuya." His greeted him with a smile.
"Hey Yuzu." He returned the gesture.
"I just came to drop Yuto off when we found Yugo and Yuri bickering with each other."
"I thought they're always had something to do?"
Yugo shrugged. "Rin and the girls are having dinner together."
"I've been staying at fusion's apartment," Yuri said.
"IT"S YUGO!"
"As I was saying, since I can't go back to the fusion dimension, I decided to go with our counterpart and join you."
"Wow, I guess that's alright."
Yuya looked over to Yuto.
"Ruri wanted me too join you."
Yuya node and said "That sounds good." while giving a big smile.
"I should be going back."
"Okay, thanks Yuzu." Yuya said followed the rest of the other Yu boys expect for Yuri who did't say anything.
"Don't mention it? See you."
"Come, there's plenty of food." His mother offered.
As everyone went in and gotten to eat, Yuto, Yuri, and Yoko soon noticed that Yuya and Yugo seems to share a similar appetite. Those two boys kind of turn it into a eating contest, while the other three just watched and ate their food in calmly.
During that, Yugo complemented Yoko's cooking, she thanking him and gave him a bit more, and Yuya getting a bit jealous, almost like they were brothers. Yuri, all of the sudden decided joined in the acting like brothers when he decided to tease them. The green-haired lad appeared to be kind of annoyed, but it was Yugo gave off more of a bark.
Yuto watched the scene play out before a soft smile appeared on his face.
Once dinner finished, he helped Yoko with putting dishes away. the blue and black-haired teen didn't want to a bother.
As Yuri and Yugo was staying because it was getting late and Yugo fell fast asleep, the Xzy user decided to take his leave.
He already bothered Yuya and his mom enough. He made a few feet away when heard a familiar voice calling him. "Hey Yuto?"
The Xzy user turned back to see said look-a-alike standing with a perplexed expression.
"You're going home?"
He looked at his counterpart with a serious face.
"I know you can take care of yourself, but why don't you just stay at my place for the night?"
"Thank you for everything, Yuya. You and your mother were great hosts, but I already caused you enough burden."
"You were not a burden, Yuto. To be honest, I 'm glad that Yuzu brought you. It wasn't wasn't the same without you."
At that moment, Yuto widen his eyes. Could it be that his counterpart was lonely just as he was?
"Guess I've gotten so use to being right there that I forgot what it is like to all by myself?"
He saw Yuya gaining a bit of a shock face as he let out a smile.
"I've been feeling the same way too. I kind of miss watching your performances."
"Thanks. So I guess you're staying."
"Yeah."
"Yay! This is so cool You can help me with this strategy I 'm working on."
As the two went back, Yuto wore a grin feeling as much excitement as his green-haired counterpart. Shun was right. They maybe different people now, but deep down they're the same.
Author's Note: Sorry about not putting Yusho in here. The truth is I forgot to until now, but can't figure how to put him into the story. Ah, well. I guess you think of him touring around the dimensions?
