ROAD TRIP!
Annabeth was helping Leo with the GPS. Piper and Hazel were hauling bags into the driveway and the boys were putting the in the boot. ''We're ready to go now'', Percy said, stowing the last of the bags into the boot. Leo sat down in the driver's seat. ''Let's hit the road'', he said grinning.
''I need to go to the bathroom'' a voice rang out. It was Frank. ''but we're barely out of the driveway'' Annabeth said, already sounding annoyed. She had been hoping for a relaxing vacation. It didn't seem like it was yet. '' I know'', Frank said. ''that's a good thing'' hazel sighed. ''stop the car, Leo''.
After Frank was done with his bathroom business, the gang took off. But an hour into the ride, the faced another problem. ''I'm hungry'' Percy said. The others agreed, even Annabeth. She even found a fast McDonalds chain nearby. ''Who wants to go inside for our orders?'' she asked. In the end Hazel, Percy and Piper ended up going inside. Here is what everyone got:
Annabeth: small coke, small fries and a cheeseburger
Frank: medium Pepsi, small chicken nuggets and a Hamburger
Hazel: water, chips and a tomato and lettuce burger
Jason: healthy sandwich only
Leo: Happy Meal
Percy: Happy meal AND extra chicken nuggets
Piper: Mango juice and plain ol' Burger and chips
While they waited for their food, Leo made a pinwheel out of duct tape and torn-up speeding tickets, Annabeth read a few chapters of her favorite book, Pride and Prejudice, Frank watched a few (a/n I am not a fan of mr beast) videos and Jason combed his hair. Percy came back with some good news. Everybody got some business cleared they ate their lunch. And continued driving.
