Repsaj scowled as he glanced from the sphinx to the pyramid. He couldn't remember how many hours went by while he looked after his sibling's pet creature. What he remembered was viewing Ailicec's tears earlier. His smile while he mentioned returning to her side sooner or later. The scowl that replaced it when he left their bedroom. He viewed the sphinx pacing every now and then.
''I could have been with my wife.'' The urge to fall asleep crossed his mind.
Repsaj's eye was wide the minute King Kooh appeared. He bowed near his brother and frowned.
''You can go now,'' Kooh said.
Repsaj nodded and returned to his wife. One smile formed before he wrapped his arms around her. He kissed Ailicec and released her.
After he stretched his arms, he collapsed on a bed. Repsaj fell asleep as he embraced Ailicec. His smile remained.
Repsaj found himself by his happy wife's side and he was just fine with it. Even in a dream world.
