I never created Stargirl.
Stargirl frowned while she wandered the streets with the Cosmic Staff by her side. The empty streets. Patrol usually wasn't boring to her. She recalled using energy from the Cosmic Staff to knock crooks down sometimes. What was she going to view this time? A stray animal?
Stargirl began to wonder if she was going to cross paths with any enemies. She paused as soon as Shiv stepped out of darkness. She tensed and aimed the Cosmic Staff at her.
One smirk appeared on Shiv's face. ''It's time to remove the thorn in my side.'' She revealed wrist blades before Stargirl ran to her. Shiv attempted to slice the latter's arm when she ducked. A blade contacted the Cosmic Staff for a moment. ''You're being careful so far,'' Shiv said.
Stargirl's eyes were wide as soon as Shiv kneed one side of her body. Wincing, she stepped to the side.
''You were careless, Stargirl.'' Her blade managed to slice through her enemy's glove. She heard Stargirl while she cried out. She smirked again. Shiv's eyes widened the minute the Cosmic Staff's energy blast struck her. Knocked her down. She thought she viewed Stargirl's smile.
''So were you.''
One scowl formed on Shiv's face. She stood and focused on Stargirl. ''Enjoy your final evening alive,'' she said. Shiv turned and left.
After Stargirl winced again, she smiled. ''Not if I'm careful.''
