-SUMMARY-
-It is a 'reality TV show' that most people from the UK watch (although I'm pretty sure there's an Australian version too)
-The 'islanders' aim to find love, and the most popular couple wins a large cash prize
-Normally, love island is exclusively for straight people, but here's my take on a bisexual version!
-There is a 'coupling' at the start of the show, and a 'recoupling' every few days - This is where the contestants have to 'couple up' with the person they like the most (couples share a bed, play games and activities as a pair to win prizes such as lunches out, etc.)
-There is usually one islander who enters joins a bit later-right after the first coupling- to test the couples' loyalty/ stir up a bit of drama (normally this person is very attractive to stir up drama) - This person is allowed to 'steal' someone to couple up with is a few days' time (In my story you will see this is Mike)
-The 'firepit' is where everything "goes down" (recoupling, people dumped from the island, arguments and just general drama)
-Each islander is given a phone. They will receive texts which they have to read out to the other islanders- these texts are normally announcements for when activities/games will take place that they all have to attend or announcements for events such as lunches out or dates which they won as prizes for winning games, etc.
-The islanders are normally just dressed in beachwear all day, and in the evenings they dress to impress for dinner
-The 'hideaway' is a private bedroom that is available for the islanders to use on random days- they vote for a couple to go there (for privacy ;))

Truthfully, Harvey was entering the villa for fun. He wasn't all that interested to find 'the one' or anything, but he wouldn't complain if he did. He mainly agreed to come on the show because Marcus convinced him to; and why not? And yes, Harvey wanted to win. Harvey Specter always wins.
Mike, on the other hand, was in it for the money. He honestly hadn't planned on entering, until a random lady came up to him as he was waiting to cross the street with Trevor, and offered them both places on the show. In truth, even if he didn't want to accept, he felt he had no choice- the woman was terrifying. She was absolutely beautiful, but in an almost unreachable way, and her great height and shark-like smile was enough to make him say yes right there on the spot. Also, Trevor would never let him refuse- he called it a 'free vacation'. The cash prize was Mike's main incentive- he really needed the money for Grammy's nursing home bills. Finding love was just a bonus; he hadn't intended on settling down and finding someone for at least another couple of years, but he'd have to just wait and see.
Finally, the Jeep pulled over at the villa. Harvey readjusted his sunglasses on his face and took a good look at the sight in front of him. The entrance of the villa was nothing too spectacular, but the minimalism combined with the gorgeous Spanish weather was beautiful. He couldn't wait to go inside.
He turned around and could see three other identical Jeeps parked up nearby. Empty. Huh. Harvey decided he might as well go in and check out the place.
In the lobby was a staircase and a hallway with a glass door that seemed to lead outside. He could hear the sound of voices outside, so he headed for the door.
After exploring the outside area of the villa, the trio decided to stop at the garden bar for a drink, noticing that there was already a cold bottle of champagne on the counter waiting for them.
"To new beginnings" Rachel toasted.
"Yes, to new beginnings!" Jenny and Zoe joined in.
After taking a sip of their drinks, the sound of footsteps could be heard, so they all turned their heads to the source of the noise. Their jaws dropped. The other islander that came over to join them was stunning.
"Hello, I'm Harvey." He said.
They all introduced themselves, and soon a tall and beautiful African woman was walking over and telling them what would be happening.
"Welcome islanders, I'm Jessica, the host of the show. You are Rachel, Jenny, Zoe and Harvey, I presume?"
"Yep, we sure are!" Rachel replied and they all nodded.
"Great. Okay so there are already four other islanders here, who you are going to introduce yourselves to, one by one. They will be asked to step forward if they are attracted to you, and you can choose, from that knowledge, who you'd like to couple up with. Once you are coupled up and the next person is introduced, you can still step forward too if you prefer them. Any questions?"
"…Okay, great. I presume you have all already seen the show so you should get the general idea. Follow me to the terrace entrance where I'll ask you to wait whilst I explain the same to the others."
"Hello boys and girls, as each islander comes out I'll ask you to step forward if you are attracted to them. If you are coupled up and are attracted to someone you can still step forward." Jessica said to Trevor, Kyle, Tess and Scottie who are all standing lined up on the grass by the pool with name tags on the floor in front of each of their feet.
"However, you do not get to choose who you couple up with- the person entering right now does. If you are coupled up, and a new islander up here wants you, they can steal you." she continued, with a coy smile.
"Alright, here's our first girl!" She said, looking over her shoulder. A beautiful blonde with blue eyes wearing a peach coloured bikini came walking out, with a cute smile on her face.
"Hi! My name is Jenny and I'm twenty-one." she said.
"Okay islanders, if you are attracted to Jenny please step forward." Trevor stepped forward.
"Jenny, looks like someone's interested. Trevor, why did you step forward?"
"Well she's seriously hot, that's why!" Trevor said, giving Jenny a wink. Everyone laughed- except Jessica of course, who maintained her poker face.
Jessica cleared her throat, "So, Jenny, who would you like to couple up with?"
"Trevor obviously!" she giggles, walking over to him. She greeted him with a hug and kiss on the cheek, and stood close beside him.
"Okay, here's our next girl!" Jessica said, and out came a gorgeous tan-skinned girl wearing a black strappy bikini.
"Hiya, I'm Rachel and I'm twenty-three." Rachel said with a charming smile.
"If you are attracted to Rachel, please step forward!" Trevor and Kyle both stepped forward.
"Sorry!" Trevor mouths to Jenny, who smiled back sadly.
"Kyle, why have you stepped forward?" Jessica asked.
"Well, for starters she's really attractive. She also seems like a confident girl which I like." Kyle said.
"And you, Trevor?" Jessica asked.
"Again, seriously hot!" Everyone laughed again.
"Okay, Rachel. Looks like you have a choice to make. Who will you be coupling up with?"
"…Kyle." Rachel beamed, waltzing over to him and greeting him with a kiss on the cheek.
"Here comes our next islander!"
Zoe walked out wearing a white bikini and both Tess and Trevor (again) stepped forward. She decided to couple up with Tess, and Trevor sheepishly stepped back with Jenny again.
"Okay, here's our final islander!" Jessica said cheerfully. A stunning lightly-tanned man with a toned body and perfect abs strode out confidently. Everyone's jaws dropped.
"Hello, I'm Harvey and I'm twenty-four." He said smugly, after seeing the looks on everyone's faces.
"If you fancy Harvey, please step forward." Everyone stepped forward- even Jenny who apologised to Trevor even though she had no reason to. Harvey grinned broadly and looked over to Jessica who looked ever so slightly impressed.
"Well… we have a first; everyone has stepped forward!" Jessica beamed. "Dana, why have you stepped forward only now?"
"Call me Scottie." She replied. "Well, he's exactly my type, and he has this aura of confidence that I find really attractive in a man."
"So, Harvey; who's it going to be?"
He glanced across the line briefly and said: "I think I'll go with Scottie." He walked over to where she was stood and gave her a kiss on the cheek and stood close beside her.
"So here we have it! This year's Love Island couples! Trevor and Jenny, Harvey and Scottie, Kyle and Rachel, and Tess and Zoe." Jessica announced. "Couples will be living together, completing activities together and even sharing a bed together. So, how are we all feeling?"
"Pretty good so far." And "Great!" could be heard from several of the islanders. A wicked grin formed on Jessica's face.
"Whilst that's good to hear, I'm sure you all know your time on the Island is no walk in the park. Welcome our final Islander!"
"Hello, I'm Mike, and I'm twenty-one."
Mike wiped a bead of sweat off his forehead and removed his sunglasses so he could get a better look at the place. The entrance was fairly simplistic but still beautiful in Mike's opinion. He looked around and could see several identical Jeeps to the one he was in, parked nearby. 'Can't wait to get in the pool,' he thought. It was so hot outside, but thankfully the swimwear he was wearing kept him fairly cool.
He was told to wait by the entrance of the terrace until he was called over, so he did just that.
"…Welcome our final islander!" he could hear Jessica announce.
Now was his cue, so he walked out and took a brief look at the islanders. Wow. They were all so hot- but one in particular caught his attention. He was about the same height as Mike, brown hair slicked back stylishly, and a beautifully toned body. Mike tried not to stare.
"Hello, I'm Mike and I'm twenty-one."
Everyone's mouths were agape, even Harvey's, but he quickly regained his composure and acted nonchalant. Mike was fairly pale but very lightly tanned, with toned abs and a slightly muscular, thin frame and long, slender legs. He had blond hair and dazzling blue eyes which were so beautiful to look at.
"So, as you all know, you are already coupled up. However, tomorrow evening, Mike will be able to couple up with anyone he likes. Any questions?" Jessica said.
"…Perfect. Go mingle! I will be returning tomorrow evening!"
