Prologue
Location: Emerald Forest
There were the sounds of peacefulness. The birds were chirping, wind blew through the leaves, making them rustle, and-
RATATATATA!
SHING!
CLANG!
FWOOM!
BOOM!
ROAAAAAR!
And the sounds of combat echo throughout the forest. Suddenly, a light-blue haired teen with a large scar running diagonally across his face jumps out of a large bush and shoots behind him. An Alpha Beowolf jumps out as well and follows the teen. The teen turns around, puts his SMG and blade back together, shifting it into a sword. The teen then places an orange capsule into a slot in his sword. Turning the blade's edge original color of gun-metal grey, to a glowing orange, with heat radiating off of it. He dashes towards the Beowolf as he swings his sword. The Beowolf just kept charging at the teen. The teen swings his sword just as they meet in the middle. The sword cut through the Alpha Beowolf like a hot knife cutting through butter. The teen slides behind the Beowolf, not looking behind him like a true badass. He stood up and ejected the capsule, reverting the blade color back to its gun-metal grey color. The teen stood there for a few moments before shifting his sword into its SMG and blade mode and turning around, pointing it behind him.
A startled Gah sounded from some bushes and the teen smirked to himself.
"You know, if you want to try and sneak up on me, you're going to have to try harder than that to get the jump on me," the teen said to the dragon faunus girl that had emerged from the bush, the evidence pointing to her horns.

The teen frowned as he saw three weapons being pointed at his head. 'Two revolvers, classic six-shooter design and an AR. Hmm, interesting weapons.'
"Damn it, should've paid more attention to my surroundings," he hissed.
"Yeah, you should've," says the girl with the wolf ears and AR.
"Fang, can I shoot him already?," asked the girl with the cat ears and the two revolvers.
"No, Fate, you can't," said the red wolf faunus girl now identified as Fang.
"Damn," said the cat ears girl now identified as Fate, "What if I just shoot him in the leg, he won't be dead."
The teen and Fang just sweatdropped at this.
"No, Fate. We have to bring him in alive and unharmed," said Fang.
'Seems like she's the leader. Gonna have to act fast.' thought the teen.
Quickly, he swung his blade, knocking one of the two revolvers out of Fate's hand and temporarily stunned her, while he swung his SMG, hitting the AR out of Fang's hands and quickly went behind her and pressed his blade against her throat, while keeping his SMG trained on the other two faunus girls.
"Alright, if you don't want your leader to die, I suggest you start talking fast. Preferably starting with why you people are looking for me and why you want me," the teen said.
Fate and the dragon girl looked at each other, then looked back at the teen.
"Our boss wanted us to bring you with us and meet with you herself," said the dragon girl.
"Ok, so why didn't she come herself?," the teen asked.
"Because she has a lot of enemies."
"Really, now? Is she a crime boss, cause if she is, then I'll tell her the same thing I said to Torchwick. Go suck a dick and kill yourself. I'm trying to do some good for Remnant, not take advantage of the weak and innocent," said the teen.
"She's not a crime boss," said Fate.
"Ok then, what is she the boss of, then?," the teen asked.
"Protecting Remnant, much like the Huntsmen and Huntresses of Remnant. She wants to offer you the chance to protect the weak and the innocent, " said the dragon girl.
This piqued the teen's interest. He looked conflicted for a while. Then he let Fang go and put his weapon back into its sword mode. Fang ran back to the two girls, picking up her AR as she ran back.
"If I were to go with you and I heard more about this, 'offer', can I refuse to accept it?" he asked.
"Of course. Moon Lake doesn't force people to join, they just recruit those who are willing to make a difference," Fang said.
"Kay, then. I'll go with you, just let me tell my mom first," the teen said turning around.
"Actually, you can't."
"Why not?"
"Cause no one else knows that Moon Lake exists, save for the Headmaster of Beacon," said the dragon girl.
"Oh, that's ok since I'm pretty sure that my mom knows," the teen said.
"Wait, how does your mom know?"
"Oh, that's because my mom is Glynda Goodwitch," the teen said, smiling.
The three girls' jaws dropped, never expecting that his mom was the Glynda Goodwitch.
"Your mom… is the deputy headmistress of BEACON ACADEMY!," the dragon girl shrieked.
"Why is that such a big deal to you guys?" the teen asked.
"Wait, I thought that Glynda Goodwitch was never married, how are you her kid?" Fang asked.
"Oh, me and her aren't related, she's my foster mom," the teen said.
The three girls looked at each other, then back at the teen.
"You know what? Fine, you can tell your mom," Fang said.
"Cool. By the way, what's your name?" the teen asked the dragon girl.
"Jewl," the dragon girl said.
"No, I meant your actual names. I know that those are your codenames. Trust me, I know," the teen grimaced as he said the last part.
"Well, we can't exactly tell you our actual names yet, as you have not joined Moon Lake and we still have to trust you. Why don't you tell us your name?" Fang asked.
"Fair enough. My name is Drake Goodwitch, but you can also call me Phantom," Drake said while smiling.
The three followed Drake to his home, unaware of the totally epic, badass, and hilarious journey that they would embark on.
