Got this from one plotline in 'Charmed', both the series and comic books.

Disclaimer: I do not own Buffyverse or Charmed.

Tara was walking down the streets, confused, but no one seemed to notice her. Whoever or whatever she tried to touch, her hand would just move through before she realized she had become a ghost. Over the months, it became tiring and Tara grew desperate and saddened that she could not communicate with the people she loved anyhow, before facing a handsome man in his late 40s, who seemed to notice her.

"Sucks, when you're a ghost, does it?" The man said.

"Who are you?" Tara asked, eying the man warily.

"Drake de Mon, at your service, my lady." Drake said, bowing before her.

"And who are you exactly? And how can you see me?" Tara asked as Drake took a breath.

"Well, where should I start?" Drake took a breath. "Demon. Human. Now a dead soul. Like you."

"If we're dead, then why aren't…"

"…we on the other side? In Heaven or whatever is it you wanna call it?" Drake questioned and Tara nodded. "Well, correction, why aren't you? I just made my way back from…" He gestured up and then down and Tara nodded again.

"Why?" Tara asked. "I mean, why would you help me?"

"Because your and Willow's love story is one of the greatest things I've ever seen, nothing I've ever read has shown any romance as passionate as yours." Drake said passionately, clearly affected.

"Wait. You said you were a demon, then human, how exactly—" Tara started.

"Well, I hate exposition but…" Drake noticed the look Tara was shooting him, clearly in no mood for games. "All right…" He shrugged. "Once upon a time, I made a deal with a sorcerer, he made me a human, there were a minor stipulations, I got to keep my powers and if I used them in any offensive manners, he'd get them and I'd burn for all eternity in Hell and I was allowed to become a human for a year before I'd…" He briefly turned transparent as Tara realized what he was implying before regaining form. "Then I taught literature in the Magic School and helped a witch find faith in love again and then… ding-dong." He gestured to above and Tara realized what was he implying.

"Oh." Tara nodded. "But if I am dead, why am I here and not…" She gestured upwards and then downwards, implying Heaven and Hell or whatever she should call it.

"Well, simple answer for that, really. You can thank your family for that. After that… nasty little business with the Maclays in Sunnydale, they'd decided to curse you and send you to Hell upon your death." Drake said and Tara winced. Frankly, she wouldn't put something like this past them. "But… I have friends down there…" He made a gesture to the floor and Tara nodded. "Who owe me some favors and ipso facto, you're in a cosmic void between life and death now."

"So I'm stuck here?" Tara asked, realizing she was doomed to become a ghost.

"Well… not necessarily. There might be a way out for you." Drake said.

"What do you get out of this anyway?" Tara asked carefully, wary of Drake's motives.

Drake laughed. "A happy ending to a great love story, what else?"

"So how do I get out?" Tara asked.

"Leave that to me. Love will conquer all!" Drake snapped his fingers and next thing Tara knew, she saw a flash of light that blinded her before he vanished and then Tara could feel herself fade away.

When Willow opened her eyes, she was in a forest… and it was dark. Willow got up and looked around, confused. "Hello? Hello!" She saw a shape of a man walking down the woods before she approached a withered tree with an apple hanging on it as her eyes narrowed. Was it a trick? If 'Snow White' has taught her anything, don't eat a stray apple in the woods.

"If you want to get out of this limbo, you have to bite it."

Willow turned around to face Drake. "Who are you?"

"The guy who wants to see a good love story. Eat that apple." Drake said.

"Why should I trust you? Where am I?" Willow asked.

"Is it hard to believe that I just want a good ending for a lot of people?" Drake said. "What do you have to lose?"

Willow looked reluctant and she tried to use her magic to get out but nothing happened. Well, apparently, she had no other choice. Willow bit the apple before feeling dizzy and she fainted.

Next thing Willow knew, everything around her was… surrounded with white and mist before it made way to reveal a silhouette of the woman with golden blonde hair and Willow couldn't believe her eyes, while the other woman couldn't either.

"Tara?" Willow whispered.

"Willow?" Tara gasped, both girls feeling tears form in their eyes before hugging each other.

"Is it… is this real?" Willow laughed.

"Honestly, I'm having a hard time believing this myself." Tara admitted as both girls kissed. "Drake?" Willow nodded.

"Oh, that's so sweet." Drake said, almost close to tears with his voice cracking.

"Not that I'm ungrateful but… why would you help us?" Willow asked as both girls turned to him.

"Like I said, your love is one of the most passionate things I've ever seen and it's unforgivable that you were both driven apart." Drake said.

Both girls didn't have a reason to think that Drake had an ulterior motive and if their experiences with demons and vampires over the years had taught them anything, not every demon was evil by definition.

"OK… but… what now?" Tara asked. "Are we stuck here in the void?"

"Uh… no… if you take a leap of faith." Drake said as they were suddenly at the edge of a cliff and there was an abyss below them.

"Wait, you want us to jump?" Willow asked fearfully, turning to Drake.

"Love is about faith as well. You need to trust in your hearts that wherever you go, you will be together." Drake said, clenching his fists.

Tara turned to Willow as they held each other's hands. "Do you trust me?"

Willow nodded. "On three?"

"One…" Tara counted.

"Two…" Willow said.

"Three!" Both girls said in unison before jumping over the cliff into the abyss below as both girls screamed.

Next thing both girls knew, they landed on the bed in Willow's apartment.

Both girls touched each other's bodies, to be sure it was real before the realization sank in as both girls laughed and giggled before kissing each other.

"I can't believe you're back." Willow said.

"I can't believe I'm back." Tara said as both girls giggled again before making out, while the clothes were being thrown on the floor.

Drake looked down at Tara and Willow from the skies as he smiled. "Love stories… you gotta love the epicness of Tara and Willow, right?"

I know Drake had moved on to Heaven already, but given his… 'passion' for love, I can see him try to help out Willow and Tara.

Please review and let me know if you have enjoyed this one-shot.
