A/N: This might have something to do with reading infinite bliss and playing dictators no peace at the same time, but it gives you a fic. So, like my pen name, why not.

WW3 started with a bang. People celebrated on the streets. Overcome by there nationalism to think this is the worst decision ever made, now everyone knows the names of the three kings, Aro, Caius, and Marcus. Vampires are known too; it didn't matter whether we were little tots or fully grown. I was born into this world where the Volturi rule. Now I'm supposed to meet them because I show promise, whatever that means. I really hope I don't screw this up and die.

Aro's Point of View

Aro had always liked looking for those with gifts, and he usually would do anything to get them. Now that vampire kind was known to every man woman and child, he could collect freely. Of course, now he lived every day in fear that one day the humans now completely aware of our existence would revolt and succeeded.

"Master Aro?" hmm? "yes Felix?" Felix came in with a vampire named Ronan, "there's a repot sir, a human in amarica that might have a gift." I strolled over to Ronan and took his hand. His memories of his time in amarica came to me. He was in Florida at the time, he had a gift that let him know that someone else had a gift but not what it was.

He had been strolling down a street. The people giving him a wide berth when suddenly he detected a gift, he looked to see a girl of 19 years she was pretty, that was something you couldn't deny. She was brown haired with brown eyes. She was of average height and looked like she worked out. I took my hand off his "Felix?" he looked at me "yes master?"

"summon the girl to Volterra perhaps on arrival we can figure out what her gift is."

Roxy's Point of View

When I was born, instead of screaming, I laughed. At age one, I showed intelligence. I was reading before kindergarten and writing a bit too. I worked out some, and my life was good. Right now, I was daydreaming about what life would be like if WW3 never happened. If we as humans were still blissfully unaware of vampiric existence, "Roxane!" I blinked out of my daydreaming. My teacher must have asked a question I couldn't think of what it could be, "yes? Mr. Simons?" he sighed, "the question was what fern was a part of the homo category."

Ugh? What? "but plants can't be a part of a group of classified mammals, that stand two feet tall!" he sighed again, "of course, that's what I was hoping you'd say." He always spoke in a monotone, I never liked him. He always had a sign that read, "stupidity is like death, it doesn't impact the person who has it. But the people around the person with it." He always found a way to call on me when I daydreamed, but I wasn't stupid. I just 'lacked focus,' as my teachers would tell my parents.

Rrrringgg! Finally! The bell! I filled out along with the other students. School was out, because science was my last class of the day, and today was Friday, even better. "hey Roxy? why are you skipping?" I was skipping? I didn't realize it, I slowed to a walk and walked over to my friend group. "hey Troy, what's up?" he was about to speak before Salena interrupted him, "and I don't get a hello?" I giggled, "of course you do." I said sweetly, "you get a hello" I said pointing to her. "and you get a hello" now pointing at troy. "and yes even" I pointed at a random person, "you get a hello! hellos for everybody!"

Troy snorted and shook his head, "your way to positive for your own good." I huffed, and pretended to be annoyed. "am not" and then so cliché he started, "are to" I gasped and narrowed my eyes at him. This meant war, "am not," "are to," "am not," "are-" Selina interrupted us before this got to far. We had been known to do this for hours.

"Just stop! okay? Roxy you are to positive for your own good, but I wouldn't love you any other way. Now, we need to go home before the roof of this poor school caves in from being to old." Good point I definitely did not want to spend my weekend at school, no matter how much fun it would be to make the leaning tower of books in the library and play Jenga with it.

We exited the school and made our way to my house. I noticed people giving someone a wide berth. I looked closer and recognized the signs it was a vampire, and immediately began to do what everyone else was doing. My friends must have seen it to because they also gave him a wide berth. For a moment just a split second he looked at me in the eyes. His ruby red ones meeting mine, it sent a shiver down my spine, I looked away and started walking home faster.
