Hello! How are you all doing? It's been years since I've updated or published something here (let alone of this fandom) but I didn't really leave. I've stuck around and read wonderful fanfics about this pairing. Now, after the official ending (I'm still mourning by the way) of this story, I've decided I wanted to come back and inspiration hit me like a truck. You know what they say, the best ships are NOT canon ships (no? anyone? just me?)
Anyhow, this is what I've been working on lately. Just a few drabbles and one-shots focused on Annie, Eren, their dynamic and relationship (after being robbed of that in the manga)

Eren.
Me. Us. Eldians.
A crushing but gently embrace and Annie opens her eyes. She is awake.
A conscious thought. Eren. He woke her, but he is not there. She crawls, trying and failing to get up at the first attempt. She knows what she has to do; Hitch is close, too close. Armin and the other soldiers must be as well. Annie sighs, the feeling of Eren, of all Eren (his mind, his soul, his everything), still so present, so overwhelming.
She catches her breath and walks, steady. Annie knows what she has to do. Always has.
Find a way to her father, once and for all.
Shaking whatever memory she has of the suicidal, proximally genocidal, bastard off of her, she opens the door and leaves.
