I do not own The Lost Boys or any of it's characters. I only own my characters.

Smoke mixed into the hot, night air from the parted lips that once housed a cigarette. Long, slim fingers that were painted with black nail polish held the cigarette between the pointer and middle.

"So, what do you guys want to hit first?" The girl who held the cigarette, Vanessa asked, taking another smoke.

Vanessa had white long wavy hair that reached her mid-back and her eyes were hidden by a pair of round black sunglasses. And there was a reason for that. She was dressed in a loose black lace spaghetti strap crop top, dark denim bell bottom jeans and black ankle boots with a chunky heel.

"We could hit the carousel?" Danielle suggested. She had short straight brown hair that went just past her shoulders and always looked like it was blown back from a strong gust of wind. A black tube top exposed her arms which were both covered in tattoo sleeves, a long copper orange skirt with tiny white flowers, and a pair of black platform sandals. Her hazel eyes land on her partner that was holding her hand.

Her partner, Sarah, shrugged, taking it into account, "That's an idea. Or maybe we can go on the roller coaster?" She asked, pushing a strand piece of her blonde hair behind her ear while the rest of it was in a high messy bun. She had blue eyes that looked like the ocean which popped out against her espresso colored skin. Sarah wore a baby blue long sleeve crop top with a u-shape neckline, brown corduroy pants that were rolled up above her ankles and black platform oxford shoes.

"Oh! But what about the shops!" Luis exclaimed. He had a mop of short dark brown curly hair and bright green eyes that always reminded the group of the stone, jade. He had a beautiful embroidered red shawl that hung on his shoulders and that reached down to his knees, he had no shirt underneath so his bare chest was open for anyone to see, basic denim jeans covered his legs and wore a pair of black suede ankle boots.

Timothy chuckled, placing an arm around Luis's waist, "We sort of heard that there was a comic book store on the Boardwalk so…" Timothy trailed off, letting the girls of the group fill in the rest.

Timothy had short black hair that stopped an inch above his shoulders and chocolate brown eyes. He wore a white short sleeve blouse that had a few of the top buttons undone, a dark denim jacket that was rolled up to the elbows, black skinny jeans that had a bunch of rips in them, and dark olive combat boots.

Vanessa raised a brow at her friends, "We all got different agendas." She points out. The group was always doing things together. You couldn't tear them apart even if you tried. But they don't always need to be attached to each other's hips. It was hard, but they managed.

"Wait, what do you want to do?" Sarah asked Vanessa, drawing the others to look at her.

"Was thinking about grabbing a bite. I'm hungry. So, let's split." Vanessa decided, taking her finished cigarette, throwing it to the ground and snuffing it out with her boot. No doubt that she would be lighting another one very soon.

"Girl, we just got to Santa Carla today. You want to split on our first night here?" Timothy asked, confused by her suggestion. Very rarely did the white haired girl suggest splitting up. It wasn't exactly something that they were fully used to doing unless the two couples out of the group had their date nights.

"Just for a little bit. Sarah and Danielle can check out the rides they want. You and Luis can check out a few of the shops. We'll meet back here in an hour and we'll check out what we haven't seen together." Vanessa breaks down her plan to her friends.

They all exchange a look and shrug. Why not? After all, they were officially setting up shop in Santa Carla. Figuratively and literally. They had many more nighttime adventure opportunities.

"See you in an hour." Luis said with a grin, his own arm, wrapping around Timothy's waist, the two of them officially separating from the group.

Danielle gives a two finger salute to Vanessa, "Have fun, babe." Her and Sarah departing in a separate direction toward the rides.

And then, Vanessa was alone.

Vanessa took a breath. To be perfectly honest, she was really fucking hungry, in more ways than one. But she also wanted to take a small breather, be alone in her own thoughts.

Plus, if the group couldn't decide what to do first at the Boardwalk, they would be there all night and not get to do anything.

Vanessa pushed up her shades and began her own journey into the nightlife of Santa Carla.
