Hearts of Evil
Chapter 1
HEY, GUYS. WHAT'S UP? I'M BACK WITH ANOTHER AWESOME STORY WRITTEN BY ME AND EmpressLoveSiren23. PLEASE THANK HER FOR THE IDEA. SHE IS AWESOME AND AN INCREDIBLE FAN AND I'M SO EXCITED TO BE BRINGING THIS IDEA TO LIFE.
OKAY, GUYS. I'LL LET YOU ALL ENJOY THE STORY.
Another beautiful day in the suburban area of Ninjago. People going about their normal everyday lives doing normal everyday activities. Why just now there's a kind, normal restaurant worker going outside in the alleyway to throw a bag of garbage away in the dumpster. Nothing out of the ordinary happened. No gang of thieves were out and about threatening the woman to hand over her money or any other important valuables. No kidnappers coming to snatch her away to some undisclosed location. She was only out there to follow her boss's instructions for her everyday list of tasks to do.
But before she even went back inside the restaurant's kitchen, a noise which sounded like metal banging on concrete was heard not too far from where she stood. She walked up closer to see the noise was coming from the manhole in the street. Before the woman could even step foot out in the road, the manhole was soon removed and coming out of it was someone who was definitely not from these parks which could definitely explain their underground barbarian style.
Murtessa, Queen of the Munce.
The poor leader of the underground tribe had no idea how she ended up going through the sewers. All she remembers was going through what felt like the largest tunnel she's ever known, then all of a sudden she finally found a door which was actually the manhole that led her to the surface in the middle of Ninjago City. She had no idea how she ended up getting to this point, but one thing's for certain: she was definitely far away from home.
Looking around, she spotted the woman who was standing in the entrance of the alleyway, her mouth agape. Murtessa walked over to the restaurant worker, giving her a creepy looking smile that was supposed to be friendly.
"Hello," Murtessa said, "Would you mind telling me where I am?"
The poor woman's only response was a scream of fear as she ran back inside the building she came from earlier. Murtessa wondered what that was about. Why would the woman be afraid of her? She was friendly when she wanted to be. Shrugging, she decided to forget the whole thing and move forward, hoping to figure out where the heck she was.
As she wanders the city, oblivious to the people staring at her as if she were a crazy barbarian or running away in fear she may attack them. There was even a police officer that was too afraid to go near her. She passes by a dark alley where she hears crazy giggles. Looking through it, she caught a glimpse of a silhouette of a shadow standing against the wall. Murtessa walked in the alley and finally got a better look at the shadow figure.
A woman with a black ponytail on the top of her head with make-up smeared perfectly all over her face and wearing biker gang clothing was seen leaning up against the brick wall filing her nails as she looked up at the Munce queen.
"What's up?" the woman asked.
"Hello," Murtessa said, "I am a stranger of the surface."
The woman nodded. "I can tell. What's your name?"
"I am Murtessa, Queen of the Munce. And you are?"
"The name's Ultra Violet. Tell me, Murtessa, where is this land of the Munce?" She continued to file her nails.
"Uh, far away from wherever I am. That much I know."
"You're in Ninjago City. And just to let you know, you're in my turf. But you don't seem like you'd harm a fly so I won't bother you." (Not like this weird woman would have anything for me to steal, anyway.)
"Okay. So is this turf also your home?"
Ultra Violet shook her head. "No, it's just a place I hang out. My home is somewhere else. But I'm just waiting for tonight."
"What is happening tonight?"
"Not that it's any of your business, but I overheard that a certain ninja that I like is going to be on an undercover mission somewhere close by to stop some sort of nefarious operations doing who knows what. I plan to kidnap him so I can have him all to myself. Don't ask me why I have a crush on a ninja. I'll never understand myself, but for some reason, every time I look into his eyes, I feel like I'm…drawn to him."
"Which ninja do you like? It better not be the ninja I'm in love with."
"How do you know the ninja? You're not even from around here." Ultra Violet put away her emery board and gave Murtessa a stern look.
"The ninja helped my people once. But I still want my betrothed."
Ultra Violet placed her hands on her hips. "And who is your betrothed?"
Murtessa gasped. "Ninja-Jay!"
"Jay?" Ultra Violet gave a chuckle. "Jay's not really my type. He's one of those comical types. I'm more into the serious types like Cole. I can't stop thinking about that sweet, sweet earth master who's heart I want to change so bad."
"No, I mean I saw Ninja-Jay walking inside of that place," Murtessa said, pointing at the hardware store across the street where she and Ultra Violet spotted Jay going inside.
Murtessa didn't hesitate to make heart shaped eyes at Jay. His cute, handsome features placed her in a trance every time she laid eyes on him. Ultra Violet noticed this right off the bat and figured the barbarian looking queen may be useful to her. (This girl might be of some help to me.)
"You like Jay, I see?" Ultra Violet asked.
"I love him!" Murtessa exclaimed, shaking the biker woman in happiness, "I love him more than you think!"
"Well, if you get your dirty hands off me, I might be able to help you get him." Ultra Violet pulled Murtessa off her.
"You will help me kill Ninja-Jay's Yang-Servant so I can finally have him?" Murtessa looked at her new friend hopefully.
"What, no! I only cause crimes, I don't kill people! What I'm trying to say is I can help you get Jay if you help me get Cole. I help you, you help me. You get what I'm saying?"
Murtessa nodded. "I get what you're saying."
"Good. I guess we're allies in this. Okay, I've got a plan to help you get Jay." Ultra Violet whispered in the Munce leader's ear the plan.
Murtessa was all for it and they waited until Jay exited the hardware store to put the plan into action.
Murtessa began to fake crying loud enough for the lightning master to hear. Since it was the duty of a ninja to help those in need, Jay went over to see if he could help whoever it was. Ultra Violet was hiding behind the dumpster, readying herself for her part of the plan.
Once Jay came inside the alley, he looked around to find the damsal in distress. "Hello? Are you here?" He heard the crying coming from beside some trash bags and saw a woman sitting on them, her shoulders shaking. He walked over to see if she was okay. "Hey, are you alright?"
Murtessa turned around and gave Jay a smile. "Hello, Ninja-Jay!"
"Murtessa?!" Jay was about to run out of the alley, but he was cornered by Ultra Violet when he turned around. She punched the master of lightning right in the face, knocking him out and bruising his right cheek.
Murtessa jumped up with joy. "Yes! Ninja-Jay is all mine!" She lifted Jay's body off the ground and started kissing his entire face.
Ultra Violet stuck her tongue out in disgust and cleared her throat. "Don't forget your side of the deal. I helped you get Jay, you help me get Cole."
Murtessa nodded. "Oh, yes, I remember. I will help you get Ninja-Cole. But what do we do with Ninja-Jay until then?"
"Let's tie him up for now so he doesn't escape. Then we'll discuss how to get Cole."
So once they found some rope to bound Jay up with, they began discussing how they would kidnap Cole while he was out on his undercover mission.
Looks like this is the beginning of a new friendship between the ninja's enemy and somewhat underground ally.
SO HOW'S THE FIRST CHAPTER, GUYS? CHAPTER 2 IS COMING SOON.
