"I failed to see it," Belos thought to himself as he clutched his now bleeding hand, "Her attack managed to evade my prediction! No, but I did see it coming! Just not in detail! The vision of a projectile bursting through my hand; it saved me from the full brunt! I can still dodge her strikes at the last second! There's no question, Gold Experience's newfound strength is nothing to scoff at, but that ends here! It's gained little more than a harder swing! King Crimson can still preempt her! There's nothing my powers can't overcome!" Belos proclaimed to himself as he brought out his stand and gazed into the future, seeing the young girl's movements before they came to be.
"Enjoy the ride while you can, dear Luz! I'm coming to destroy you properly this time, as fate ordains!" Belos angrily thought before finally proclaiming in a loud bellow, "A little girl like you should learn to temper her boasting, lest she's punished! I'll even strip you of any chance to regret your actions, you brat! GO, KING CRIMSON!"
With that proclamation, Belos activated his Stand's ability, tearing time apart and erasing it from existence.
"Now time will be obliterated for all but me!" Belos once again postured to himself, "Excellent! I can see her Stand's movements! Her machinations have been laid utterly bare!"
"Talentless roaches! At least try to surprise me!"
Dodging out of the way of her punches, Belos clenched his injured fist before flinging a spurt of blood into both Luz and her Stand's eyes, effectively blinding the girl to the attack that was soon to come.
"Amazing how little it takes to totally neutralize your greatest power! I almost feel sorry for you! Never again will you be able to witness the immaculate brilliance of King Crimson! The truth of my strength will be forever lost to you!"
Calling upon his Stand's ability once more, he activated Epitaph to gaze into the future, his eyes widening in near utter glee at what it held: King Crimson punching its way through Luz's chest and tearing out her heart.
"At last! I've won! In the end I'm still faster! Your new powers couldn't save you from me ripping out your heart! The future can only hold one of us, and it has chosen me!" Belos thought to himself in his inner monologue.
"Now DISAPPEAR!" he yelled as he brought his hand down toward Luz… Only to stop short as he noticed something odd: A bee. A little bumblebee floating past his hand and eyes… backwards.
He stopped his assault and looked around him and realized that this was not the only thing reversing. The blood that he had just splashed into Luz's eyes returned to the original wound.
"No…" he said as the blood flowed back into his palm, "But how...?"
He looked around as the empty space that signified time being destroyed began to rebuild itself. The ground beneath their feet reformed, birds flying overhead were reversing their course, cawing in reverse; leaves returned to their places on trees.
"How is she reversing the time I obliterated?! That shouldn't be possible!" he exclaimed as he suddenly felt the pull of this strange power.
"NO! Stop! It's all reverting back to normal!" he yelled as he was practically dragged back to his original spot not ten seconds ago, "But still, the premonition clearly shows me emerging the victor! SO PARISH, LUZ NOCEDA!" he bellowed at the top of his lungs as he brought his arm down to destroy Luz in a killing blow. However, as he does, he finds another arm right above his, followed by a third arm. Turning his head, he's completely surprised and baffled to find a seemingly infinite number of him standing behind himself.
"Huh!?"
"Huh!?"
"Huh!?"
"Huh!?"
"Huh!?"
"Huh!?"
"Huh!?"
"Huh!?" the infinite number of Belos repeated one after another in confusion.
"What the-!?"
"What the-!?"
"What the-!?"
"What the-!?"
"What is this!? What the hell is happening to me!? Perhaps… this is an illusion? That cur somehow managed to pull one over my head? Or… Did she? The only thing that should be able to move within periods of warped time should be me!"
"This… Is Requiem…" a voice spoke, surprising Belos as he turned to find that the voice belonged to none other than Luz's Stand, Gold Experience.
"Your eyes are not deceiving you. What you see is very real," it spoke in a calm, almost dignified tone, as if nothing can shake its demeanor, "Playing out before you are the results of your actions. However, though you may be able to witness the truth, you can never hope to reach it. Your powers are immaterial. It doesn't matter who you are, no one can ever overcome this barrier. Behold Gold Experience Requiem's true strength! It's nature remains a secret even to my user, Luz Noceda…"
With those words, Belos looked around him and his eyes widened as he blurted out the words, "... lest she's punished! I'll even strip you of any chance to regret your actions, you brat!"
"Wait," he thought, "That's right before I…" he couldn't even finish the thought as he realized where he now was.
"How dare you… ONLY I MAY BEND TIME!" he yelled as he found himself at the exact moment before he activated his Time Skip, Luz and Gold Experience Requiem heading right for him.
"NO! NO! My visions always become reality! The future has already been written! My invincible King Crimson should be bound for victory!" He screamed in his mind as his eyes widened as a fist headed straight for him in slow motion before a barrage of lightning fast punches collided with his face and body in rapid succession.
"MUDA MUDA MUDA MUDA MUDA MUDA MUDA MUDA MUDA MUDA MUDA MUDA MUDA MUDA MUDA MUDA MUDA MUDA MUDA MUDA MUDA MUDA MUDA MUDA MUDA MUDA MUDA MUDA MUDA MUDA MUDA MUDA MUDA MUDA MUDA MUDA MUDA MUDA MUDA!" GER cried, its fists firing off like a machine gun.
Hope you all enjoyed! And before you launch into the comments saying "This is just a recreation of what happened in the series", I know that. I just wanted to write this as a fun little one shot because I love the idea of a JoJo/Owl House crossover, and I hope to do an actual, proper crossover with these two series someday.
