This is a bit out of left field but this is something I've been wanting to write for years since I absolutely love this pairing. They are so adorable. I love the manga and the anime putting everything into animation was so good. I'm hoping Season 2 happens to cover book 6 to 10.
Anyway this story happens during Book 10 - The Vanishing of Asakura Ryouko Part VIII (During the October Panel)
First Movie:
"It's not very often I actually sit down for one of these..." Nagato said as they cuddled in her apartment, a blanket wrapped over both of them. The title for Solid State Society came up on screen signalling it was about to start. She couldn't help but feel his body warmth spread to her as she leaned against him, happy that even in their final year with how much work Kyon needed to do they could still have time to do this. Nagato herself didn't need to study since everything came naturally but she made damn sure that she would drag Kyon through the finish line with her.
"I know, this last year has been chaos..." Her wrapped an arm around her without too much thought, bringing a fierce blush to the head of the literature club. her heart thumping as the moment of the smallest intimacy.
'Oh he's so close. I shouldn't be reacting like a kid any more. We've been this close so many times...'
She tried to breathe a little, audibly exhaling trying to get her palpitations back in order. Kyon looked down, at the slightly panicked Nagato and grinned. He couldn't help but laugh at just how much it hit her with all the work. She felt him shiver in his grasp and to make it all the more worse for her sensations overload he planted a soft kiss on her forehead as she causing her to shriek in surprise.
"K-Kyon!" She cried as she grasped on to his shirt tighter. "Y-You know you can't have you do that, it's almost too much for me..."
Hearing Kyon laugh made her frown but her blush that came back with a vengeance showed she was entirely mad. His ability to interact with her regardless of her difficulty of keeping it together is something that she appreciates. His ability to read the room since they've been together and not been so horrifyingly oblivious to her affections made a lot of difference in their budding relationship. While she had allowed him to lead their relationship due to his confidence he had to be more spontaneous at times, he respected the fact that her ability to be flustered and breakdown made her slow to adapt to things. While she grumbled in their current embrace she secretly revelled in it not wanting to be anywhere else right now.
"I hope you are comfortable Yuki..." It took him a second to realise what he said before blushing himself, thinking over what she just did. Nagato only nuzzled her face against his chest even more, hiding her expression from view. In private he had taken to calling her by her first name and it's something she found hard to get used too. While Haruhi always called her by her first name, Kyon saying it with the hint of intimacy in it made her shiver. Something about the way it rolled off his tongue gave her butterflies that nothing else did. He'd been doing it ever since they smooched back at the water park in August. For her it felt like a real turning point in their relationship. The intimacy, the daring arrogance he had to take the opportunity, the taboo way it felt that it was in a public setting but away from prying eyes. Everyone else was none the wiser but man did she wear it on her fact for the rest of the week. Even making eye contact with him did nothing but bring memories of him, his lips connecting a soft movement which she was close to considering it as life changing.
Even thinking about it now made her blush even harder than before.
"Alright, alright I'll stop. I'm sorry for turning you into a walking tomato..."
She playfully slapped him on his chest not turning to look up at him.
"Your words are not helping. Mmm, you are so mean." She could hear his laugh start to trail off, his chest starting to settle.
"This time I'm really sorry. I shouldn't wind you up. Is there anything I can do to make it up to you?" Finally turning her head so her ear was gently pressed to his heart, feeling the soft rhythm tic beating as waited for an answer was going to lull her to sleep if she wasn't careful. Blinking, she didn't want to fall asleep so quickly as they were only 20 minutes in and it's the first time that they've been able to sit down and be together watching a film without the doting presence of Asakura being around. Deep down Nagato had the feeling that while Asakura meant well and was worried about her moving too fast, she was concerned about what Kyon would do. She still hadn't got the time where Kyon fell face first into her chest out of her head.
"Hold me closer..." She muttered without thinking. She felt his arms enclose around her tighter, bringing her closer to him, she felt their legs tangled together while she sighed at their connection. All she wanted to do was bask in the warmth they had together.
"Hopefully you don't fall asleep on me..." His voice was still laced with the humour from earlier but she did her best to ignore it, her rosy cheeks keeping the colour, not fully able to calm down. She was about to respond but all that left her mouth was a heavy yawn.
"I'll try not too..." Her voice wandered off as she just basked in the heat of her boyfriend. Wanting nothing more than to stay here forever.
It didn't take longer than 40 more minutes for Kyon's body head and the mesmerising movements on what was on her TV to put the shorter purple haired student to sleep as she snored gently against boyfriend's chest. Kyon grinned as he saw her torso raise and lower gently in relaxed breathing. Shaking his head, he bundled her up in his arms including the blanket that covered them and raised her into bridal carry. The sudden movement caused her to curl up against him and groan softly, agitated at the need to be moved but not enough to be woken up.
Being careful to keep his steps gentle, he took her through the dimly lit apartment, before slowly pushing the door open to her bedroom with his foot, angling himself to get through the doorway with a sleeping Nagato in his arms. Softly He laid her on her bed as her mattress absorbed her weight with minimal resistance. Moaning softly, Nagato's hand subconsciously reached out at the warmth suddenly leaving her. Kyon took her hand, entwining his fingers with hers as a soft smile appeared on her face. The look was cute enough to completely melt his heart. Losing his resolve, he sat by her bedside, her hand still in his as she snored with content. Opening his phone in his free hand, he scrolled the net passing time as he kept comfort with his girlfriend.

Nagato's eyes shot open, realising that she dozed off on the first date she had in a few weeks. Quickly feeling guilty she hoped that it wasn't long that she was out for and Kyon didn't mind. Her mind was instantly showered with disappointment at the dark room that she was in, her eyes automatically adjusting, noticing that she still had her glasses on. suddenly feeling sad that she might have ruined their day. Moving to get up she felt her hand holding on to something, turning on her side she looked at the side of her bed of Kyon napping his head not too far from her chest as he slept silently.
Piecing what had happened, Nagato looked at the blanket covering her being the same one they used in her living room. The lock on her hand was tight and firm but oh so comforting. Nagato's smile stretched, noticing how cute Kyon looked as he slept. Her heart warmed at the sight of him staying by her side, the exact thing he declared he would do when they started dating. While it hasn't been long, it's easy to see how committed he is.
Her free hand ran through his soft brown hair. By reaction he nuzzled against her hand as he readjusted before settling still. All Nagato could do was sigh softly before leaning over and kiss the crown of his head.
"I love you Kyon..."
Nagato could let him sleep, the same thing he does for her, almost countless times in the two years she's known him.
