Sorry about the whole ' cat loves cat from another clan ' thing. But, the Erin Hunters write that all the time. Constantly. Even though it's a classic/boring plotline, I really like it. And the whole plot does not revolve around that.

Basically, the 7 are cats and have dreams about ' twoleg ' counterparts. I am not sure if they will BECOME their counterparts, or meet them...

I am just writing this as a stupid thing for fun, so...

FYI, I have only read up to the very first book of the DAWN OF THE CLANS series. And because I really love Firestar, I pretended that he never died! Also because I am not that big a fan of Bramblestar. But I do like the Squirrelflight x Bramblestar ship.

I will also only be writing which POV it's in when it is a ' Dream ' chapter. So, hope you can guess who's POV this is in. Should be easy. I'll probably be writing a clue every chapter. This time, no clue. It's just the same POV as the prologue.

BTW, the ships are really messed up when they're cats. Percabeth is real as cats, but otherwise, there are only official pairings in the dreams. For now...

Also, I had written a Dream Chapter, but I am not going to upload it yet. So you are going to be confused about the first couple sentences, where it mentioned the dream. Basically Annabeth dreams about Percy.

I jolted awake. I looked out and saw the moon rising steadily into the sky. Who was that? Why did I keep dreaming of him? He's a twoleg! Which I always was, too.

Was it a sign from Star Clan? Was I going to turn into a Twoleg and meet him? In the dream, I thought I was in love with him. But I loved someone else. A cat. From another Clan...

I decided to get up and walk through the woods. As I inched out of my nest, careful not to disturb Petalnose ( She was my best friend ) or Berryfur ( Who always insisted on sleeping close to me ). Sadly, despite my efforts, Petalnose woke up.

" Ferntail? Where are you going? " She whispered.

" I'm just going for a walk. Go back to sleep. " I insisted.

" No! Let me come with you! " She whisper - screamed, getting to her paws.

Petalnose was fiercely loyal, up to the point where others found it annoying. But I always found it more endearing, just like Silver who would insist on always being with me, which he couldn't. Petalnose was more than a replacement, though. She was my Best Friend. Silver was different than that. But I wasn't going to let Petalnose know that I wanted her to come.

" You're insufferable! " I said, in the same manner as she had.

" Does that mean yes? " she asked, somewhat sarcastically.

" Come on! " I spoke normally this time, exasperated. Unfortunately, it seemed Berryfur had woken up. If he hadn't inched into my nest while I slept, he wouldn't have heard me.

" Ferntail? What's going on? Where are you going? " He asked, drowsily.

" Nothing. Go back to sleep, Berryfur. " I said softly. He was madly in love with me, so I hoped that my voice would encourage him to listen to me.

He mumbled something which inspired Petalnose to take a chance.

" Berryfur, please? We're just going for a walk. You should just go back to sleep. " There was no lie in her voice. And I knew her well enough to see through her. One of the reasons I didn't like Berryfur was because I knew Petalnose loved him. And I would never betray my best friend.

He grumbled a bit, and he seemed like he was getting up, so Petalnose tried again.

" Berryfur, go back to sleep. " Her voice was sharper, and as her voice washed over me, and I fought the urge to curl up and doze off.

I had no idea how she did it, but everyone listened to her when she spoke in that sharp tone.

Berryfur immediately fell back into his slumbers.

" Let's go! " She said, excited.

We left the Warriors den, to see Goldpaw, sitting outside her den, gazing at the moon. Moon. Moonpaw. Goldpaw's brother. He joined Shadowclan when they were apprenticed. She was clearly thinking about that. When they were just apprenticed, during the ceremony, a badger attacked, and their littermate Heartpaw sacrificed herself to defeat that badger. Even though she had not been apprenticed when they had attacked, she was about to become Heartpaw. So we remembered her like that. Moonpaw, joined Shadowclan in misery, no longer able to look at the site of her death. Goldpaw saw us and averted her eyes. She liked me, so she was obviously trying to let us get away with whatever we were planning.

" Come on. We should go before you wake up anyone else, Petalnose! " I scolded.

She let out a mrrow of laughter, and we sprinted out into the forest. We sat down by the stream, and Petalnose started a conversation.

" Yesterday, I think I saw Redpaw staring at me. I'm pretty sure he likes me. Since Icepelt always lets me train with them, we have spent a lot of time together. "

" These love triangles are really weird. I love Silver, Berryfur loves me, you love Berryfur, Redpaw loves you, " I said

" Goldpaw loves Redpaw, Sparrowpaw loves Goldpaw. " I finished.

" Sparrowpaw is in Windclan! " I exclaimed, appalled.

" Says the girl who's in love with a Riverclan cat. " She replied, cooly.

" But when did they even meet? And how would you know? " I asked.

" They talk at Gatherings all the time. And every time I look at Sparrowpaw, I just know. " She said.

" As I said before, these love triangles are weird. " I was expecting some silence after that. But no.

" Well, at least Silverfur loves you back! Berryfur barely knows who I am! " She said sadly.

As much as I hated Berryfur, I was determined to improve her spirits. While also expressing my hate for him.

" I would never go after Berryfur. First of all, you love him. And there's no way I'm betraying you. Second, he is so arrogant! He thinks he's so special with his look at me! I can fly! thing, and he can't take a hint! I've been trying to communicate that I don't like him, but he just doesn't get it! " I was going to keep going, but Petalnose stopped me.

" Ferntail, really, he's not as bad as you think! " She sighed.

" Yeah, right. I really have no idea how you can like him! But you don't have to worry. You have no competition from me. "

Then we finally had some quiet.

We just sat there by the stream for a while, until we saw the sun start to rise. I glanced at Petalnose, but she shook her head, indicating that she didn't have dawn patrol. I saw a squirrel dart from one of the trees nearby. I launched myself upwards and jumped cleanly over Petalnose and my claws met the squirrel's throat. I held it in my jaws by its tail and gestured my head back to the direction of the camp.

We walked back together, and I set my squirrel down where the fresh-kill pile would usually be, but most cats weren't awake yet, let alone able to hunt.

" Ferntail! Petalnose! " Firestar called.

I turned around. " Yes, Firestar? "

He walked up to us. " I see you've been out hunting? "

" Not really. We were just out for a walk, and I happened to see a squirrel."

" Ferntail, may I speak to you in my den for a minute? "

That was never good. But I nodded, nonetheless.

We walked to his den and he told me to sit down.

" Ferntail, I know everything. " He said.

What does 'everything' mean? Everything about me? Everything I had been keeping hidden? Who would have told him?

DUN DUN DUN!
