Heres another amour shipping story for you guys i hope you enjoy. Amour shipping is my #1 ship. Aside my second ship between Ash x Lana of course. Serena is by far my most shipped Poke-Girl, and she's also my favorite girl in general. She has so much potential. Her personality is so captivating to me, i'm sure you'll agree.

Lets not keep you waiting; enjoy.

Ash, Serena, Clemont, and Bonnie were on their way to Ambrette town so Ash could have his next gym battle but things were looking glum for the four as they were caught in the middle of a horrible storm. Ash, Serena, Clemont, and Bonnie were running through a forest while they were getting rained on.

"Come on guys we need to find someplace to get out of this storm." Ash said,

"No kidding I feel like I am going to fly away." Bonnie said,

"I don't think there is a town for miles Ash." Serena said,

"There isn't going to be a Pokemon center for a little while either." Clemont said,

Ash said, "Then we better find some form of shelter. At least so we can make it out of this rain."

Pikachu said, "Pika pikachu." (T: And we better do it quick.) as his cheeks sparked.

Clemont said, "Oh no most electric types can sense lightning in a storm." Looking up at the unforgiving clouds up above, watching them rumble and spark with a sheer anger only mother nature could generate.

Ash said, "Then we better get moving."

Pikachu said, "PIKACHU!" (T: TOO LATE!) Just then a bolt of lightning struck the group.

(thirty-minutes later)

Ash woke up he had lost consciousness when the bolt struck but as he woke up though he heard faint crying, looking over his side he saw something that hurt him on the inside. Serena was crying at his side, worried sick for his safety.

"Ugh my head, wh-where are we?" Ash groaned holding his head in pain and confusion.

"ASH, YOUR OK" Serena cried, she pulled him into a tight hug while crying into his shoulder, he returned the hug.

"We're in a cave, we got separated from the others, while we were running to safety from the storm. I thought you'd never wake up. I thought i… i… i—" Serena began choking with tears, Ash seeing his closest friend in tears was too much for him to bear.

"Shhhhhh, it's ok. Im here now" Ash whispered in a calming voice. "I thought i'd never see you again" Serena cried, burying her face in Ash' chest.

A few minutes pass and Serena's cries were turned into light sniffles, trying to regain her emotions. Ash wanted to help his friend out, to ease her tension, but how? Than he decided to ask.

"Serena?, are you afraid of thunder storms?" Ash asked. The question was sudden for the girl, the question was obvious, and the answer was simple.

"Yes" Serena said, sighing.

"Mind telling me about it?" Ash asked.

Serena didn't know if she wanted to tell him, it was a silly fear, but to her it was scary, it was the scariest thing she could ever experience. But she'd thought Ash deserved to know, if he wanted to help her. He needed to know the full story.

"It all started when i was six, around the same time we first met…" Serena began,

(Flashback four years ago—Pallet town)

Little Serena was just casually playing with her Pokemon plushies in the living room, without a care in the world. "Serena Sweetie I'm going to run a few errands" Grace called from upstairs.

"Ok, mom" Serena yelled from down stairs. Soon after a while her mother came back down the stairs.

"Theres also a warning going around in the news about a huge thunder storm later tonight. Mr and Mrs, Anderson are right next door if you need anything" Grace said with a smile.

"Yes mom, see you soon" Serena said. Her mother gave one last smile before shutting the door behind her.

"I started to play like usual for the next few hours without paying any mind to the outside world, later i decided to watch some television because i was bored of playing with my Plushies" Serena explainer. "This was around the time the storm that was about to happen let itself known"

(Hours later)

A loud howling and a crash from the thunder made its self heard with its loud roar across the sky, and rain that sounded like hail rained on the glass windows of the Yvonne residents like bullets from a gun, mercilessly hitting the windows with such ferocity that the sea basin Pokemon Kyogre would be jealous, without warning the power was knocked out making the room really dark.

"Mommy? Mrs, Anderson? Where are you?" Serena yelled frightened.

No answer…

As she was walking to get a drink of water a loud boom was heard from outside, "Eek" Serena yelped, she dropped her water glass on the floor shattering it, unfortunately for her the glass shards hit her foot, and she fell to the floor, in tears as blood trickled down her foot, it wasn't that serious but some shards were big enough to keep drawing blood if they weren't removed quickly enough.

"MOMMY" Serena cried. Suddenly she could hear the door swing open and she was whisked to the bathroom.

"Are you Okay sweetie?" a voice asked. Looking up she saw the face of Mrs, Anderson looking down at her with a caring smile.

"Thank you" the little girl cried, happy to see her saviors face. She felt safe, safe from worry, safe from fear, safe from pain.

"No problem Dear" Mrs Anderson said. She was carried into her room and tucked into her bed upstairs, and soon the little honey blonde girl fell asleep soundly, her little snores music to her neighbors face.

"Good night Serena" her neighbor wished before shutting the door.

End of flashback

"My mom came home a few hours later, our neighbor told my mom everything, she later promised herself that she'd always be there for me, never to let the storm take me away again" Serena said finishing her story. "Thats how my Astraphobia came to be"

'Damn, thats rough" Ash said, both frustrated and angry. But for reasons he couldn't explain. His fists were tightening until they turned white from the pressure.

"I'll make sure they don't take you away" Ash exclaimed, confidence in his eyes.

"Ash…" Serena said in shock, she didn't know how to respond to her crushes outburst, but she felt there were only two that came to mind.

"Thank you" she said. Without warning Serena kissed Ashs' cheek making him blush red. The two (And Pikachu too) fell asleep in each others arms, eagerly waiting for the storm to pass, so they could reunite with their friends as they continue their journey.

But one thought was still on Serena's mind…

'He may not know what he's feeling right now, but in time i think he'll understand' Serena thought hopefully, closing her eyes and holding her Ash close to her, a soft smile gracing her face as she sighed contently and drifted off to sleep.

But one thought came to Serena, one that she couldn't ignore.

"Where were Clemont and Bonnie?' She thought.

(Elsewhere(

"Hello?… anyone home?" The two Lumiose siblings cried.
