Keeping up appearances was apart of the job. Being in the hollywood world meant there were positive and negative aspects you were expected to accept. Press was never bad. People talking about you meant you weren't forgotten about and washed up. Which was a fear that kept Brooke up at night. There was no room for mistakes or public humilation given the flawless image she potrayed to the media.
The Davis name and the status around it. Was like a sink hole. She couldn't escape it. Instead of risking what she had always known. Brooke embraced and fell in line. Because really what was the point of anything else.?
Brooke gazed at herself in her full length mirror. Gazing out at the view from her townhouse window. In New York City.
She had just filled her walk in closet with newly brought clothes. That she looked forward to wearing and showing off.
Brooke was wearing a pink body suit with black heels.
Having found refuge in throwing herself into work after high school and college ended. Traveling to the all the places in the world she had only seen in pictures.
At 30 years old. Brooke Davis's fashion line had grown from only woman's fashion. Now she featured Men's clothes and a children's line.
Hearing the alert for her video chime loudly. She ran over to her desk. And opened the window. A bright smile coming across her face. At the sight of her god son.
"Little Man. I'm looking forward to coming home and being apart of you're big day. How are you.? What are you looking forward too the most for this birthday.?" Brooke asked.
Jamie smiled back at his god mother. "Having my all my friends there. And of course you and uncle Lucas because the two of you are the only ones who don't live here in town with the rest of us." He replied.
"A check and birthday gift is coming you're way very soon. Now tell me all about this Madison girl. That you're calling you're girlfriend now. I'm missing a lot." Brooke stated.
Jamie smiled shyly. "Momma tells you everything." He replied.
"Not everything just the important stuff. I need to know if she's good for you." Brooke said. Focusing her time and attention on her godson.
