Yakko Warner was done with work. shooting today was exhausting, he got stopped by an actor.
"Hey, Yakko. Channing needs you in her office," he said
"Oh, okay." he went into Warner Bros administration and walked inside.
"Oh good, you're here. Yakko. your wife... we found her." Channing said. Yack's eyes widen in shock.
"W-What?" he asked, by this point, he couldn't move.
Channing wasn't joking if she was, she wouldn't call him up here.
Then, a woman walked out of a room. with a suit, her Warner Bros earrings her beautiful brown hair bouncing up and down she looked stunning. All Yakko wanted to do now was cry, because this was too much to handle.
his mouth couldn't even make a sound. he tried to say something but he couldn't find the right words, his brain couldn't function properly.
"Hey, Yak..." Shai said, walking up to her husband.
"S-Shai... is that... is that... you?" he asked
She nodded.
Yakko couldn't believe this... he was so happy to see his wife again since December of 2020.
"Yak... are you gonna stand there?" she asked
Yakko runs up to her. threw himself in her arms and kissed her passionately.
Shai rubs his ears and Yakko smiled.
"Man, I missed you so much! I couldn't stop thinking about you every day!" he said holding her neck and not letting go, Shai smiled as she kissed her husband again.
"I missed you too, Yak," she said as she scratched him behind the ears, the Toon waged his tail
Shai smiled and laughed.
"Oh, how much I missed you," she said as he buried his face in her hair.
Yakko kissed her again. then they walked out of the studio and into his car.
Hollywood California was amazing at night. they stopped at a nice restaurant where they had a reservation that he made.
"For me?" she asked shocked.
Yakko grinned.
"I want to make you happy Mrs. Warner," he said. he held his gloved hand out, Shai took it and they went upstairs with the waiter.
Yakko pulls out the chair for her and she sat down, he asks around and sat.
Shai held out her hand to him. he took it with him and he intertwined it with hers.
"I'm just so happy that you here... but..." he had to ask. "How?"
Shai looks at him and smiled.
"Well... after the crash I thought I was done for..." she began her story.
Shai Warner opened her eyes. she realized that she wasn't in the air anymore. What happened? she tried thinking of what happened, how did she end up here. where was she, then she remembered... the crash. she looked down at her body. she wasn't harmed, that was weird. why wasn't she unhurt. what could've happened she was thankful for this, she could go home and see her husband and Steven again. but... the news thinks she's dead. she has to go into hiding for several months.
"I'm so sorry, Yak..." she said taking off her wedding ring and putting it in her pocket.
Shai was walking around Utah for several hours as a man drove by her in his truck.
"Do you need a lift?" he asked in a southern accent.
"Yes, please," Shai said, the man unlocked his doors and she jumped inside.
"Where too little lady?" the man asked.
"Can you please drive me to California?" she said
"Well sure! hey, you look familiar," he tells her.
"Oh, really?" she asked
"Yeah, your that actor's wife," he said.
"Oh, I get that a lot. please, take me to California."
"Alright. any specific location of where you want to go?" the man asked
"Anywhere but Burbank, Hollywood, or Las Angles," she said.
"Okay then." the man said as he kept driving.
ten hours... ten hours on the road... that's how long they've been driving for. Shai requested to go to San Francisco when they've made it. she got out of the car, then she starts walking.
Shai looked up and saw billboards with the new Animaniacs reboot that was coming out on Hulu the show was on its second season.
Shai smiled, she was proud of her husband. then, she got an idea, she walked to Burbank she walked to a hotel to lay low for a few months.
"Then... that's how I ended up here." Shai finished her story.
"Wow..." Yakko said.
Shai nodded and smiled, but. he stood up, his happiness turned into anger.
"What... you were faking the entire time?" Yakko asked.
"I thought you'd be happy to see me-"
"Shai, I was BROKEN FOR MONTHS WITHOUT YOU! DON'T YOU UNDERSTAND!"
"Yak... please-"
"DON'T CUT ME OFF! YOU HURT ME DON'T YOU GET THAT! I WAS DRAINED WITHOUT YOU! I CAN'T LEAVE THE HOUSE! I WAS SO MEESSED UP THAT I COULDN'T EVEN FILM FOR THE REBOOT!"
Shai was shaking at his point, she's never seen him like this before...
"ARE YOU GONNA SAY SOMETHING?!" Shai didn't say anything.
"I WAS NOTHING WITHOUT YOU! SHAI! DON'T YOU UNDERSTAND THAT?! NOTHING!"
Yakko didn't even realize what he did but he kept on doing it.
"I'M STILL NOTHING WITHOUT YOU!"
"WHY ARE YOU YELLING AT ME YAKKO?!" Shai was getting emotional at this point. she just wanted to storm out and just run away. But she knew she couldn't leave her husband like this.
Yakko just stormed out of the restaurant than into his car and went back home.
Shai stood there in shock as her husband left her here...
Yakko was back home, forgetting that Steven even existed he went to the fridge, grabbed a coke, and went to the living room
"Dad," he said. he ignored him and watched SpongeBob in the living room.
"Dad, what happened?"
"Nothing, don't worry about it..." he drank his soda.
it was three in the morning, Yakko was asleep, then Shai opened the for using the key to the house. she walked upstairs and she opened the door to their bedroom and saw her husband asleep. Shai went to the bathroom to change into her PJs
The Yakko woke up. "Hello?" he grabbed his 'weapon' with was a nerf gun (They don't have real guns in the house) Shai walked out, Yakko shot her with the darts. "Ow, Yakko!" Shai yelped as she shielded herself.
"Shai?!" Yakko stopped shooting, dropped the gun, and opened the light.
"If you ask me what am I doing here in your house. well, to answer your question; I live here too Yakko, I have a key," she said not amused by her Husband's attitude towards her.
"You've been acting like a butt all night. what's wrong?" she asked.
"Well, you decided to come back from the DEAD!" Yakko yelled.
"Yakko, I thought you'd be happy!" she said
"I am happy I'm just overwhelmed with everything that's going on!" he said sitting in the bed and putting his hands on his face.
Shai walks up to him, he pushed him not the bed then she pressed her lips to his. Yakko smiled, man. he missed this so much... he didn't want this to end. but something told him this HAD to be a dream. Shai broke the kiss. "Yak... I love you..."
"I do too Shai, I don't want this to end," he said
Yakko saw a white light blinding his eyes and an alarm ringing in his ears, then. she was gone.
"Shai? Shai?!" he asked. he woke up in bed. It was morning. he looked over at the empty side of the bed, he got up and used the bathroom. Shai could be in the shower. but it was empty.
he sighed heavily and looked in the mirror. it looked like he didn't get any sleep at all.
"This is the last time I'm doing anything at the studio late at night..." he said looking at himself in the mirror again at the puffy bags around his eyes. "I look dead..." he said walking out of the bathroom. he went downstairs and grabbed a bowl of cereal, a can of Chocolate milk sat down went on Hulu, and watched the Animaniacs reboot. He sighed, no amount of begging nor pleasing from Arceus is going to bring his wife back to him.
