~Part 1~
Kurt snuggled deeper into Sam's side. His beautiful fiancé was curled up on the couch next to him and had his arm wrapped tightly around Kurt's waist to hold him close. West Side Story was playing on the TV but neither of them were really focused on it. Kurt was thinking about his day. It was 5:15 on a Tuesday. He had woken up in the arms of his handsome soon to be husband. They cuddled until 10 and then made breakfast. Sam had gotten a call the previous day saying he didn't have to go to work that day. Kurt had already taken the day off so all day it was just the two of them. For lunch, they went to Breadsticks. After they stopped at Lima Bean for coffee and donuts. Then they curled up in bed and cuddled some more. Around 3:30, the two lovers had gone downstairs and set up on the couch. Two empty bowls sat in front of them on the coffee table. One had Doritos crumbs and the other was filled with left over pretzel salt. Wicked was on the TV at 4 and since then, Sam and Kurt snuggled under a fuzzy blanket. Kurt occasionally felt Sam softly kiss the top of his head and every time it brought a huge smile to his face. Kurt closed his eyes. He was tired. They didn't do much that day but it had been a tiring week. A few minutes later Kurt felt Sam shift a little and then the TV stopped. Kurt smiled as Sam carefully lifted him onto his lap and held him close to his chest. Kurt turned his face into Sam's shoulder and smiled more as he felt Sam rub his back. They stayed like that for a while. Kurt guessed Sam thought he fell asleep. Kurt lightly held onto Sam as he picked him up. He smiled as he was carefully carried upstairs and into their room. His smiled quickly faded when he felt Sam lay him down on the bed, tuck him in and heard him start to walk away. Kurt opened his eyes and looked over at Sam who was just about to walk out. "Where are you going? You're not going to cuddle with me?" Kurt asked sadly. Sam turned around and smiled when he saw Kurt sitting up in bed staring at him with the saddest puppy eyes ever. "I thought you were sleeping baby," Sam told him. "That's not an excuse to leave me up here alone," Kurt said. Sam walked back over to Kurt and sat next to him on the bed. Kurt instantly curled into Sam again and held onto his waist. Sam wrapped his arms around Kurt and kissed his head. "Do you want to stay here or come make dinner with me baby?" Sam asked. Kurt looked up at Sam. "If I stay, will you stay too?" He asked. Sam smiled. "We have to eat you know," he said. Kurt frowned. "I'll come with you," he sighed. Sam smiled and stood up. "Let's go baby," he said holding out his hand. Kurt took Sam's hand and stood up. He went with Sam downstairs and the two love birds started dinner. While Sam boiled the spaghetti and made the sauce Kurt worked on the meatballs and bread rolls. They were a perfect team in the kitchen – and everywhere else. Kurt finished the meatballs and added them to the sauce. While they waited for the spaghetti to finish cooking Kurt and Sam searched through the TV channels and looked for something to watch during dinner. They usually sat at the kitchen island and talked about their day but today they spent every minute together. Once they settled on a show, they finished up dinner. Kurt and Sam sat down on the couch and ate while they watched Gray's Anatomy. Currently, a guy was in the hospital recovering from an overdose. "Can someone actually overdose from Tylenol?" Kurt asked. Sam shrugged. "I guess so," he replied. Kurt looked towards the bathroom. It's weird to think that in his own home was something that could actually kill him. I wonder if it hurts, Kurt thought. He was snapped out of his thoughts when he felt Sam's hand on his leg. "Baby? You ok?" he asked. Kurt looked at Sam and gave him a small smile. "I'm ok," Kurt told him. Sam nodded and kissed Kurt's cheek before returning his attention to his food and the TV show in front of him. Kurt continued to eat but his mind wondered back to his previous thoughts. His smile slowly faded. It wasn't a fake smile. They could be present for a bank robbery but if Sam told a stupid joke or even just looked at him, Kurt couldn't help but smile.
