Hello. My name is Marinette Dupain-Cheng. You might know me as the clumsy girl, the girl who's parents are bakers, or the girl that likes designing. Well, yeah I'm all of these things. But I am also Ladybug. So, basically regular girl by day, hero at night. Not quite yet. My great grandfather was king of China. He had many children, like 11. One of them was Hua Ming (Grandma Hua to me), my grandmother. She was the emperor's oldest daughter. She had a daughter named Sabine, who is my mother. Then, there was me. Technically I am some sort of princess, coming directly from the line of royalty. But that doesn't mean I was going to be queen. After all, Hua Ming had an older brother. His name was Lei Cheng. So the next ruler of China would be the firstborn son of Lei Cheng's grandson. But every 100 years things change. Instead of having a king on the throne, a queen rules instead. It will be the current King's eldest daughter. Or, if he doesn't have a daughter, it will be the oldest unmarried female from the family line. Three guesses who that is.
