Hello Everyone! This oneshot will be an Easter special I hope to upload on time. I've seen Christmas, New years, April fools but not yet one about Easter and thought why not make one!

Anyways let's get started!

Today was Easter in the beautiful Pixie Hollow and its fairies could hardly contain their excitement, every year on Easter the fairies celebrated the holiday by organizing an egghunt, eggs would have been spread around all of Pixie Hollow, in every season. In this grand event, much like during the pixie hollow games, every talent competed against eachother. Whichever talent had gained the most eggs, won a special prize.. The golden egg.

Of course every talent was striving for the prize, it was one of the most important ones you could earn as a fairy. Though many got very competitive during the event, the fairies always made sure to stay kind and help eachother when needed.

"Ready to lose this year, Vidia?" Fawn snarled while crossing her arms, for the past few years the fast flyers had won the egghunt but this year Fawn was sure the animal talents would win. The raven haired fairy let out a small huff "Sure, sweetie. Goodluck beating us." she bore a snarky look on her face as she looked the animal fairy up and down.

"Girls let's not start this just yet, it's still a couple of hours before it starts anyway." Tinkerbell interfered before they ended up actually fighting like the previous year. Iridessa nodded along with her friend "Tink is right, it's just an egghunt!" she shrugged. Everyone turned to look at her with horrified expressions "What?" she asked with a frown.

"JUST AN EGGHUNT!" Fawn and Vidia yelled at the top of their lungs, shocked about how she could possibly say such things.

A loud huff from behind them startled the young girls. Turning around, their eyes met those of the strict head of tinkers, fairy Mary. "This entire holiday is nonsense! I cannot understand you girls actually believe those stories, about some kind of bunny that brings you eggs. Bunny's don't even lay eggs!" she exclaimed, a clear annoyance resting in her voice as she continued to clean up her tinkers' workplaces.

"You DON'T believe in the Easter bunny?" Silvermist asked, shocked by Fairy Mary's comment, she simply couldn't believe that someone could disrespect the Easter bunny like that. The other girls shared confused glances as the brunette rolled her eyes "No I don't believe in-" before she could finish her sentence, a figure flew in from behind the corner "Well I believe you should Fairy Mary." the girls looked up to find none other than Queen Clarion herself.

"Don't start, I don't believe in your stories." Mary told her friend firmly, the queen crossed her arms at her before laughing "Very well, one day I'll prove you wrong. Good morning girls" the girls smiled lightly at the queen before she flew away, fairy Mary let out a small grunt in response and followed close behind her friend.

The girls laughed as they watched the both of them fly away in a distance.

A couple of hours later every fairy in Pixie Hollow gathered around at the pixie dust tree center. Each fairy carried one basket in hand, ready for Queen Clarion to announce the start of this year's egghunt.

It didn't take long before a few glowing orbs of pixie dust formed the beautiful fairy queen, standing before all her subjects. She cleared her throat lightly, making every fairy go silent and watch the monarch "Fairies and Sparrowmen of Pixie Hollow, this years Easter egghunt will be more special than ever before. This year, we have a new team joining us, the ministers and Lord Milori have decided they want to compete to as one team." The fairies giggled and cheered as the ministers proudly sat beside the Lord of winter, making the queen chuckle lightly "Just like every year you will be given one hour to collect the most eggs, the winning talent guild will receive a special prize, the golden egg" the fairies let out silent gasps at the thought "with that being said, I hope you all have a wonderful Easter and let the egghunt begin, may the best team win!" the queen exclaimed.

Fairies scattered around as quickly as they possibly could, each wanted to win this egghunt more than anything.

"Aha! Get that egg buck quickly!" Fawn ordered her friend and fellow animal fairy, he quickly flew to grab a purple egg with yellow dots before zephyr, one of the fast flying fairies could. Zephyr groaned and rolled her eyes before flying away as quickly as possible. Fawn and buck cheered high-fived lightly before continuing on.

Vidia snarled "Doesn't matter, one little egg won't make a difference. Elwood, Leeta Go scatter around winter. Wisp, Tizzywing go to autumn. Windbreaker, Zephyr go to spring. I'll stay in Autumn! Go go go!" The fast flying talents nodded and scattered around pixie hollow, they had to remain their winning streak.

Nyx and her scouts looked over a map of Pixie hollow "Go to the more hidden places, we're scouts. We know pixie hollow almost as good as the queen herself. Althea you, baden and Carlotta go check behind havendish stream. Myka, Nilsa and Russell go look through butterfly cove. Sera, Trak and Fury go check the hideouts. Chase and Shade go search the outside of the Pixie dust tree. Me and Di will go check the mountains in winter. Meet together around springtime square in around twenty minutes, we don't have much time." Every scout nodded and flew off.

"Just check every flower and every plant sugar." Rosetta shrugged, Chloe smiled at her red-haired friend "Or split up in two groups, one goes to summer then spring and the other to winter then autumn. Look everywhere in the places you'd least expect but if it's hidden behind something, make sure to place it back exactly how it was in the first place, that way fairies will look but find nothing and waste their time." the garden talents nodded along enthusiastically "Isn't that a bit mean?" sweetpea asked, slightly unsure of the idea "Oh of course not, it's just a trick!"

Sweetpea thought for a bit but eventually agreed "Great! Bluebell, Fern, Iris, Ivy, Lilac and Rosetta go to summer. Lily, Olwen, Sweet Pea, Thistle and Gardenia are coming with me to winter." the garden talents smiled before going to their assigned seasons.

Lumina proudly smiled at her fellow light talents "I suggest we don't split up, why don't we go explore the darker bits of pixie hollow. Nothing will attack us when we're in a large group and our light talent will allow us to see more than a normal fairy who would definitely skip some eggs!" Fira nodded "Sounds like a plan!" Iridessa wasn't all too sure "What if something does attack us?!" the others gave her an annoyed look "Dessa I'm sure that if something dangerous were to be there, the queen wouldn't allow us to enter it in the first place." Iridessa groaned "Oh alright!"

"We can go ask the fish if they know where eggs are!" "and we can ask them to check underwater, the eggs could be anywhere." suddenly silvermists face lit up "I know a cave that's hidden somewhere by havendish stream, I can go check there." the others agreed "let's go team!"

Lord Milori rolled his eyes "We don't need strategy like that, we're ministers and a lord. How hard could this get." the minister of winter smiled "see, I hate to admit it but you're right." the minister of autumn shrugged at the two "i'm not so sure, those fairies stop at nothing and knowing some of them, they have been studying the maps of pixie hollow for awhile now especially those scouts." the already nervous, minister of spring agreed "they know just a much as us... If not more!"

"I shouldn't have agreed to this.." he ran his fingers through his long hair in distress, the minister of summer placed a hand on his shoulder "How about we each go to our own season, we know those the best of all don't we?" she spoke with confidence as she reassuringly smiled at her fellow minister.

"That's a lovely idea." once every one of them agreed the minister of winter spoke up "Milori you check the north side, around the ice palace I'll check around the border and the keepers library." the lord of winter laughed "wouldn't I know the border better" he smirked at the annoyed woman "take it or leave it." she snarled "fine." just like that they went off into their own seasons.

Clank frowned lightly "Splitting up?" Tinkerbell nodded lightly "yes! We'll go in a couple of groups to make sure we get eggs from all around pixie hollow, most people are going to the center so one group should go to the more outer parts of pixie hollow." Bobble nodded "Aye clanky, that way we'll get more eggs too!"

"Right! Okay the groups.. Aidan, Angus and chipper go to the outer side of spring. Me, Bobble and Clank will go to the outer parts of Autumn near the woods that surround it. Copper, slate and tin you three go to the outer parts winter. Twire and zuzu go to the very outer parts of summer especially the beach." Tinkerbell carefully explained.

"Alright miss bell" "sure thing tink!"

Once every one of their groups left, Tinkerbell Clank and Bobble flew to the outer parts of Autumn, not many fairies went there because of the dark woods that surrounded it. Tink had gone through them before, while chasing Zarina back when she stole the blue dust. It was truly not as horrible as fairies say, despite that the queen had made a rule that they were not to enter the forest for the egghunt.

"Tink are ye sure it's a good idea to come this close to the woods?" Bobble asked, he too wasn't a big fan of those woods. Tinkerbell simply laughed it off "Trust me, I've been in those they're just a little dark.. With a lot of wild animals.. But I'm sure those don't mean any harm!" Clank and Bobble shared worried glances as the blonde tinker stopped midway to grab a small blue egg with golden stars on them.

"see!" not even a minute later both Clank and tinkerbell found another egg.

Bobble suddenly pointed up to a tall tree "Look up there!" he exclaimed before flying up and placing the red egg in his basket.

Clarion smiled brightly as she flew through the seasons, her dear fairies were scattered around all of pixie hollow to find the most eggs. She couldn't help but think back to her days as princess, she too participated in one of the pixie hollows egghunts together with the ministers who were then ministers in training. Oh how much she'd give to go back to the days where she could live more freely.

With a deep sigh the queen continued on with her flight, eventually she reached the beautiful Autumn forest with its vibrant colors out for every fairy to admire. Autumn was definitely Clarions favorite warm season, though Winter would always remain her favorite. That was why she crossed all those years ago and she couldn't be more thankful for it.

She highly doubted that any of her subjects would wander close to the woods surrounding Autumn which is why at first she decided to skip it and continue her route, that quickly changed when she heard a couple of familiar voices coming from close-by, not too far from the mysterious woods.

Queen Clarion did not need to listen to those voices again, she knew just who they were. Turning around, Clarion slowly flew towards the fairies "Goodmorning dears" she spoke softly, yet both Clank and Bobble jumped back at the sound of her voice. This made the queen softly chuckle "My excuses sweethearts, I didn't mean to scare you." Tinkerbell on the other hand looked more excited than ever "It's quite alright Queen Clarion" "It's okay, your highness" the sparrowmen gave her a weak smile in response.

Tinkerbell smiled brightly "We almost have our second basket full!" she squealed out with excitement "that's wonderful, it's only been a good thirty minutes." Bobble and Clanks faces lit up with pride. The queen was about to fly off when Tinkerbell stopped her with another question "Queen Clarion? If you don't mind me asking.. Why doesn't Fairy Mary believe in the Easter Bunny, I mean most people would think that if someone wouldn't believe in him it'd be you, because you're so proper but you do!" the tinker stopped once she realized that she started rambling on about it again, as she usually did.

Clarion bittersweetly smiled at the young girl "Well.. Fairy Mary was never very invested in Easter, she always believed that it simply distracted fairies from their work but.." The queen bit her lip lightly, she knew Fairy Mary didn't like her telling the story "but?" Tinkerbell raised an eyebrow. "Please don't tell Fairy Mary I told you this story, it's not exactly a happy memory for her." the queen warned them. "we promise your highness." "of course!" "as you wish yer majesty"

"Very well.. Back when I was a princess, fairy Mary was and still is my bestfriend. For one year especially, every fairy in pixie hollow was incredibly excited because the ministers, who were then ministers in training and I were allowed to participate in Pixie Hollows Egg Hunt. No royal had participated ever since the event was first created, me and the ministers went as one team because we each possess multiple talents. We decided to split into three groups, I went alone because my magic could easily carry another basket unlike the ministers. All those years ago we were allowed to go into those woods to collect eggs" the queen pointed towards the dark forest that surrounded the outer part of pixie hollow "not many fairies went there so I knew I could easily find a lot of eggs, whilst I was there however.. Some strange animal attacked me, I lost consciousness." Tinkerbell and the two sparrowmen beside her looked at the queen with great shock and concern "something I only ever told Fairy Mary is that I didn't just wake up in the infirmary, I awoke for a couple of seconds while something saved me and carried me back to pixie hollow, if my memory was correct.. Then it was a bunny much larger than any I had seen before, he stood on two legs and carried me back.." the blonde sharply gasped "The Easter Bunny?" Clarion smiled "Yes, at least that's what I believe. When I woke up again in the infirmary I was told that I had been unconscious for almost a week and that at first they weren't sure I'd survive. Fairy Mary was a wreck and that's why I never compete, Mary would be furious if I did."

Tinkerbell's wings drooped "That's horrible, well I'm glad you were alright after all that!" the other two sparrowmen seemed to still be processing the story they had just been told "Thank you but I'm afraid I have to continue now dears, so do you." the tinker fairies nodded and bid their goodbye's to the queen as she graciously flew away.

"Woah isn't that crazy? Queen Clarion met the Easter bunny!" Tinkerbell exclaimed once the monarch was out of sight, the other two nodded in agreement "aye, I can see why fairy Mary doesn't like Easter now." Bobble tilted his head lightly, Clank shrugged "But why wouldn't she believe the queen, if the Easter Bunny saved her why isn't she grateful?" he continued as they walked closer and closer to those woods

It didn't take long before their second basket was full aswell. They had another fifteen minutes by now and needed to get it filled as soon as possible. After a couple of minutes they couldn't find any more eggs, meaning that they had most likely collected all from around the area.

"Guess we should head back guys" she said, shrugging at the two sparrowmen beside her. They nodded their head and turned around, tinkerbell was about to do the same when something caught her eye. The blonde tinker sharply turned around, only for her bright blue eyes to meet piercing violet ones in the shadows.

The young girl couldn't look away from it, she couldn't tell what it was or what it wanted her to do. She dropped her basket out of pure shock, her action made the animal itself flinch just as much a her friends "miss bell?" Clank asked a both he and Bobble turned to look at the Fairy.

She slowly pointed towards the eyes.. The kept getting bigger, it kept coming closer to them! Bobble too dropped his basket as his knees quivered with fear, Clank tightly held onto his that untill Tinkerbell let out an ear piercing scream "FLY!" she yelled, without second thought Clank threw his basket away and flew as fast as he could, shortly followed by his friends.

Clarion smiled, she decided to take a break from flying around everywhere and instead sit on a small wooden bench near springtime square. Everything was peaceful, the air filled with laughter from the fairies and there was a small breeze making its way through the beautiful season.

The queens hands were clasped together in her lap while she sat with one leg over the other. Many of her fairies often smiled or greeted her when they flew by, she always made sure to return the small gesture as a queen should.

Before she knew it her peace had been disturbed once more by an ear piercing scream coming from the other side of Pixie Hollow, Autumn yet the scream sounded like it came from beside her. Every fairy was shocked by it, so was the queen. With her hand now resting over her chest, she slowly stood up and was about to go investigate when three fairies landed before her, taking a small cloud of dust with them.

"QUEEN CLARION!" "YOUR HIGHNESS THERE WAS THIS HUGE MONSTER WITH PURPLE EYES" "BY THE WOODS" "QUEEN CLARION IT WAS HORRIBLE!" The three of them rambled on about something Clarion could hardly understand "Sweethearts please calm down and tell me what's going on?" the queen bent down to their height and placed a comforting hand on their shoulders.

While the other two tried to control their breathing, Tinkerbell managed to explain everything "WE WERE CLOSER TO THE WOODS, ABOUT TO LEAVE WHEN THIS MONSTER WAS IN SHADOWS, BRIGHT VIOLET EYES AND THEN WE FLEW FOR IT!" she exclaimed, still trying to catch her own breath.

Queen Clarion let out a small sigh "Dear I'm sure it was nothing, probably just some wild animal nothing more, nothing less." her soft voice managed to calm them down ever so slightly but still the tinker fairies looked horrified. "No your highness, I've never heard of an animal with eyes like those!" Tinkerbell tried to reason with the monarch, Clarion knew that the tinker had a point but she couldn't just start a panick.

Queen Clarion lightly frowned at them "Sweetheart where are your baskets?" she asked, slightly confused. "Well when we flew away we dropped our baskets.." Tinkerbell explained solemnly, the queen gave her an apologetic smile before continuing "Why don't we go get those first then?" she suggested, much to the young fairies' annoyance "NO! Your highness, with all due respect we rather not go there again!"

The monarch pressed her lips together "Darling then you won't get the points for them" she warned the younger fairies "We hardly care about winning, we do it more for fun.. We'll be fine!" she reassured the queen with an slightly unsure smile. "Very well then..are you alright little ones?" they smiled at the queen and nodded "we're all right yer highness!"

After all of the eggs had been counted for each and every talent guild, it was time for Queen Clarion to announce this year's winners of the golden egg. She breefly talked with her staff flying to the center of the Pixie Dust Tree, every single fairy waited with anticipation as the queen began.

"Fairies and Sparrowmen, we have just finished counting the eggs" the queen was interrupted by a bunch of cheers, making her chuckle before continuing "this year however, we don't have one winner but two! A tie, between our very own Lord Milori, the ministers and the Fast Flyers!" the audience burst with excitement once Clarion announced this year's two winners.

"Your highness?" Viola asked from behind her, she was carrying some large basket with a note and what seemed to be many eggs. "Viola, what is this?" she said as the summoning talent carefully handed it to the monarch "it was delivered at the front of the tree, I suggest you read the note.." she spoke carefully before flying back to her talent guild.

Every fairy focused on the queen "Dear Queen Clarion, it seems I must've accidentally scared some of your fairies because of which they dropped their with eggs. My excuses, I hope you understand I don't mean any harm. Ps, there's something of yours on the side of the basket. -The Easter Bunny" Clarion's eyes widened "the.. Easter.. Bunny?" she slowly repeated as every fairy started whispering, quickly the queen glanced at the side of the basket. There hung a shining butterfly necklace with small diamonds and sapphires "My necklace!" she exclaimed.

Fairy Mary let out a huff "This isn't funny, let me see it!" the head of tinkers paled, her friend was telling the truth "I told you he was real Mary!" Queen Clarion let out an excited squeal as she firmly held the necklace in hand.

"Well I believe these are the tinkers' eggs" Clarion smiled at the young fairies, she handed them to her helpers and slowly they started counting, every talent guild impatiently awaited the answer of who had actually won this year.

Eventually the queen returned to the front "Well, a change has been made. The tinker fairies have won this year with only one egg difference from the fast flyers and our lord and ministers!" Tinkerbell hugged her friends tightly as all of them started cheering.

Somewhere far into the dark woods the mysterious Easter Bunny smiled once he heard the cheers and laughter, shaking his head ever so slightly he took a deep breath "Happy Easter Pixie Hollow!" he exclaimed before continuing on his journey to bring joy to the rest of the world.
