Quririn stood in the middle of the throne room. "If you take the Sundrop you will unleash unimaginable darkness" he announced in a voice louder than he probably should have. "Quirin, are you okay dude?" Frederic question in a quiet, gentle voice. They heard crying upstairs. Willow rushed downstairs.
"Quirin"
Willow called.
"Congratulations
You have invented a new kind of stupid
A 'damage you can never undo' kind of stupid"
Willow sung. A ghostly figure that looked like Arianna appeared.
"An 'open all the cages in the zoo' kind of stupid"
The figure dropped the animal toys it was holding. It knelt down to pick them up.
"'Truly, you didn't think this through?' kind of stupid"
"Let's review
You took a rumor a few maybe four people knew and refuted it"
Willow flipped over the chalkboard and drew Quirin discussing the matter with the Brotherhood.
"By sharing a curse with The King of which no one has asked you"
Willow drew Quirin warning Frederic not to take the Sundrop.
"Ulla begged you to take a break, you refused to"
Willow drew Ulla pulling on the back of Quirin's shirt and begging him to not to go to the palace.
"So scared of what your enemies might do to you
You're the only enemy you ever seem to lose to
You know why Adira can do what she wants?
She doesn't dignify schoolyard taunts with a response!"
Willow drew a portrait of Adira. Quirin's eyes widened at the reference to his sister.
"So yeah, congratulations!
You've redefined your legacy
Congratulations"
"It was an act of political sacrifice." Quirin interrupted. "Sacrifice?" Willow questioned, almost mockingly.
"I studied six women who languished in a loveless marriage in London
I lived only to read your letters"
Willow remembered studying the six queens of England during the reign of King Henry VIII when she was a little girl and reading her 'love letters' from Quirin.
"I look at you and think 'God, what have we done with our lives and what did it get us?'"
Willow looked at Quirin with angry tears in her eyes.
"That doesn't wipe the tears or the years away"
Willow wiped her eyes.
"But I'm back in the city and I'm here to stay
And you know what I'm here to do?"
Quirin looked at Willow hopefully.
"I'm not here for you"
"Oooh" Frederic spoke. Willow glared at him.
"I know my sister like I know my own mind"
A ghostly figure that looked like Arianna appeared behind Willow.
"You will never find anyone as trusting or as kind
And a million years ago, she said to me 'this one's mine'
So I stood by"
The figure stood behind Willow.
"Do you know why?
I love my sister more than anything in this life
I will choose her happiness over mine every time
Arianna
Is the best thing in our life
So never lose sight of the fact that you have been blessed with the best wife"
Willow grapped Frederic.
"For the rest of your life
Every sacrifice you make is for my sister
Give her the best life"
Willow dropped him.
"Congratulations"
Willow went upstairs. Frederic and Quirin shoot each other confused and frightened looks.
Willow opened the door to Frederic's and Arianna's bedroom to find Arianna crying on the bed. "Aww, come here." Willow cooed. Willow picked her up and held her. "I will find a way to save you know matter what." Willow swore. "And if anyone else tries to hurt you they will have it worse than him.".
