Yay! True to my word, I haven't forgotten Shiloh! Man, I really like this little crow, I feel terrible for abandoning her for so long. This story is a direct sequel to "Definitely Not What You Think" which is a sequel to "Shiny Little Things" and "Not What You Think." This little story will have two chapters.

The WLW bits are based on my own experiences as an NBLW though I have never had the fortune of actually being in a relationship with a woman :(

The title is based on a song from my youth called Uh Oh by Junior Doctor. I listened to it again today, it is still a banger.

It was a lazy Autumn afternoon and Louie and Shiloh were acting like a couple again. They did this a lot, enough for it to confuse his family at least. They were very open and affectionate, leaning on each other to the point of cuddling, exchanging cheek kisses, going on friend dates. The only thing that kept them from being a couple was their mutual lack of attraction for the opposite sex.

Huey, ever the romantic, had asked Louie why they acted so much like a couple if they weren't in love. Louie had responded that they were in fact in love, they loved each other so much that they couldn't help but be close, they just couldn't be together because the attraction wasn't there. Huey didn't really get it, but Dewey found the platonic romance hilarious. Webby certainly wasn't going to judge Louie for being affectionate with his best friend, she'd done the same with Lena, but she and Lena were dating now while Shiloh and Louie had their sights set on greener pastures.

Webby rushed into the living room as Shiloh and Louie were bickering over what to binge-watch.

"Louie! May and June are gonna be here soon!" Webby shook Louie vigorously by the shoulder, definitely getting his attention.

"Cool."

"Well? Come on7! It's not every day that they're back."

"Oh, okay, so this is something I have to get up for. Okay," Louie heaved himself up off the sofa and offered Shiloh his hand.

"You've met my Uncle Donald and Aunt Daisy, right? I don't think you've met May or June, though."

"I didn't even know there was anyone in your family named May or June," Shiloh said, letting Louie help her up.

"They're my clones," Webby said.

"This family is so weird," Shiloh muttered, "but I guess I'm down to meet more clones."

"Oh," Louie said, putting a hand on Shiloh's arm, "June is nonbinary. So don't misgender them, even if they're wearing a dress or something."

"I understand, Louie. They're not the only genderqueer person in your family."

"Heh, true," Louie laughed.

"Anything else I should know about the clones?" Shiloh asked as they walked towards the foyer.

"Oh, May is a lesbian." As Louie was saying that, Shiloh's eyes were landing on May Duck for the first time.

May, in Shiloh's mind, was the most gorgeous person in the universe. Her long hair was tied back in a high ponytail and she was wearing a yellow tank top, a green army jacket, and cut-off jean shorts. She looked rugged and impressive and Shiloh was already head over heels. And this gorgeous individual was heading straight for Shiloh and Louie.

"Hey, Louie, what's up? Got a new scheme for us?" Louie looked between May and Shiloh, Shiloh's mouth agape and searching for words. He saw exactly what was going on and couldn't help smirking.

"I've got a scheme," Louie said nonchalantly and gestured to Shiloh, "This is my best friend Shiloh. We used to date before we both realized we weren't straight. Shiloh, this is May."

"It's nice to meet you," May said, sticking out her hand. Shiloh stared at it, her eyes bugged out, unable to move.

"Sorry, May. Shi's a little shy. I think you two would get along, though. We should all hang out sometime."

"Well, we'll be in Duckburg for a few weeks, unless something happens. I've got to catch up with the others right now but I'm free this weekend. Want to hang out then?" May suggested, keeping her eyes on Shiloh with a warm smile.

"Sounds great," Louie said, jabbing Shiloh with his elbow.

"Sounds nice, you're very nice, nice to meet you, you have a nice jacket," Shiloh rambled, suddenly a leaky faucet of words.

May laughed, "It was nice to meet you too, I'll see you later, Shiloh."

Louie turned to Shiloh when May was gone and smirked, "That was so interesting! My best friend and my sister. That's really cute."

"Shut up," Shiloh muttered.

"You've got a crush," Louie sang.

"Stop it!"

"I'm really surprised, Shi. I thought you only liked shiny things."

"She is shiny, like the sun..." Shiloh murmured, lovestruck, scowling when she noticed his grin, "I will kill you if you repeat that."

"Aw, don't be that way. I'm just trying to be your wingman. At least I'm not being a protective older brother, since you do have a crush on my sister."

"And you have a crush on a robot," Shiloh pointed out, crossing her arms.

Louie blushed then and decided to shut up.

When Saturday rolled around, Shiloh was incredibly nervous. She'd agreed to hang out with Louie and his sister but her heart was beating out of her chest. She wore her very best purple flannel and even let Louie do her nails the night before. Shiloh really wanted to make a good impression on the pretty adventurer. The only thing left to do was actually meet up with them.

Any time they weren't sailing around the world, the Duck family lived at the marina. So Shiloh agreed to meet May and Louie at the docks. It was a little chilly for September and Shiloh was hugging herself, feeling butterflies in her stomach.

"Hey! Shiloh! I'm glad you could make it!" May called, waving and running over. She looked so earnest and happy to see Shiloh, Shiloh couldn't help smiling.

"Hey, May," Shiloh said, then laughed, "That rhymed."

"Ooh, I should have said, 'Hello, Shiloh,' and you could've said, 'Hey, May,' that would have been funny. Ah well, hindsight is 20/20."

Shiloh laughed, relaxing a little. May seemed much chiller than her touch, practical outfit suggested.

"Louie should probably be here soon," Shiloh said, just as the notifications on both their phones went off. Shiloh grabbed her phone and her eyes narrowed.

L: Woke up this morning with a stomach bug. You guys have fun, tho.

He added in a couple of pathetic emojis to the group chat to sell his blatant scheme and Shiloh and May exchanged a look.

"That phony," May said indignantly.

"Yeah, what a hack," Shiloh said with a nervous laugh.

"Well, at least I have your phone number now," May hummed, adding Shiloh in as a contact.

"Oh, yeah? You wanted my phone number?" Shiloh felt flustered.

"Well, we've got to get Louie back for this scheme, don't we?" May pointed out.

Shiloh laughed, "Right! That! You're absolutely correct."

"It might be nice to hang out one on one anyway," May said, lightly bumping Shiloh's shoulder. Shiloh's face felt very warm all of the sudden.

"I like your hair," Shiloh blurted.

"Thanks! I like your flannel. It looks soft," May said, reaching out, "Can I touch it?"

Shiloh was at a loss for words and just nodded quickly.

May's fingers ran gently down Shiloh's arm and Shiloh thought she was going to faint.

"Why do you think Louie bailed?" May asked, a knowing look in her eyes. Her hand was still resting on Shiloh's arm, just above the wrist, and Shiloh felt dizzy with ecstasy.

"Oh, um, I don't know. You know Louie. He can be so lazy," Shiloh forced a laugh. She actually liked lazing around with Louie but if he was going to throw her into the deep end she was going to throw him under the bus.

"True," May agreed, "But I think Louie has a scheme brewing." May slipped her hand into Shiloh's and Shiloh shivered.

"Are you cold? Do you want to borrow my jacket?" May offered.

"Oh, uh," before Shiloh could come up with an intelligent response May had taken off her jacket, revealing strong arms that Shiloh wanted to melt into.

"I think it's pretty obvious what he was scheming," Shiloh admitted, unable to hold back any longer.

"Yeah?" May wanted to hear Shiloh say what they both already knew.

"He saw how flustered I got around you and wanted to push the issue."

May locked their fingers together once more, "Is it an issue?"

Shiloh shook her head as fast as her heart was beating, "No, I don't think it is."

"To be honest, I got a little flustered when I met you, too. Why don't we see where this little scheme goes?"

"Sounds like a perfect plan to me," Shiloh agreed, and they walked down the docks together, excited to see what the future had in store for them.

Huey didn't get it.

"So you're trying to set your ex-girlfriend up with our sister?" Huey asked.

"No, I'm trying to set up my best friend with our sister. Don't get caught up on my past relationship with Shi, it wasn't real. I'm not straight, she's not straight, any experimenting we might have done in our foolish youth-"

"Three months ago," Huey interjected.

"-our foolish youth doesn't count."

"You know that if Shiloh starts dating May she won't spend as much time with you, and you probably won't get to kiss her as much."

Louie frowned for a moment, "Fair point. And I admit that those are consequences I hadn't considered but if Shiloh is happy then I'm happy."

Huey smiled, "I'm proud of you. That's really emotionally mature of you."

"Thanks, Hue. Besides, I can always just be a third wheel."

"Or you could finally ask Boyd out," Huey teased.

"How does everyone know about that?" Louie asked, turning as red as a tomato.

"It's pretty obvious, Louie. So, are you going to ask him out?"

"Maybe, but that's a scheme for another day."
