Volume I: The Beginning
Note: I've decided to reboot and do a new story on Spider-Man. This won't be split into multiple FanFiction series, instead it will be Volumes, each volume is a year. Volume I will be the first year of Spider-Man. I will include elements from the movies, cartoons, video games, and comics into this story, I hope that you all like it... thank you and enjoy the story.
"My name is Peter Parker, this is the story of my life. I'm just an ordinary boy with a normal life. I was... until today. Today my whole life changed." Peter narrates.
Today is August 10th, 2021, at the Parker Residence in Forest Hills, Queens, Peter is still in bed sleeping until the alarm rang, he hit the snooze button. He woke up and put on his glasses. Peter is a teenage boy about 5' 7" with brown hair and brown eyes, he's a science prodigy with a very high IQ.
He looked around the room and sees his science awards, photo of the day that he became an Eagle Scout at age 13, picture of him with Mary Jane, Gwen, and Harry in their childhood, a poster of Captain America from the 40s, and last but not least a picture of his younger self with his parents Richard and Mary both of whom they've passed away.
He walked to the bathroom to brush his teeth and washed a bit of water in his eyes. The door knocked as Peter exited the bathroom and opened the door, it's his Aunt May.
"Aunt May?" Peter said.
"I'm glad that you're awake, I've made breakfast." May smiled.
"Okay, I'll be right there." Peter smiled.
Peter is smiling because he get to have his favorite breakfast that May made, but more than that it's because today is a special day in Peter's life
(Downstairs)
Ben and May are at the table as they watched the mini tv in the kitchen.
"The summer weather today sure is bright and warm. In other news, approximately 14 hours ago, CEO of Stark Industries Tony Stark has been missing since his helicopter got shot down by insurgents in the Gobi Desert, so far there have been no ransom demands and no proof of life. For now our prayers are to the missing Titan."
"Can't believe that this happened to a nicer guy." May said.
"Unfortunately that's the world we live in, a lot of good people gets hurt or worse, and not a lot are willing to help one another. There are no heroes." Ben said.
"But not you, you're the most responsible man I've ever known, the man I fell in love with." May smiled.
"How did I ever get lucky to have you?" Ben smiled.
May and Ben are in a moment until Peter came downstairs and sees them.
"Sorry... did I ruin the moment?" Peter wondered.
"No, no, of course not. Please sit down and have some wheatcakes." May smiled.
"These two are my Uncle and Aunt, Ben and May Parker. They're the closest thing I have to parents ever since my parents died in a plane crash. I guess you can say that I'm like a son they never had." Peter narrates.
Peter sat down and eat some wheatcakes, his favorite breakfast.
"Mmm, you make the best wheatcakes as always." Peter smiled.
"I'm glad that you're pleased. By the way, happy birthday Peter." May smiled.
Today is Peter's birthday, he just turned 15. The doorbell rang as someone is outside the door.
"I'll go get it." May said.
She opened it up and sees Mary Jane Watson and Gwen Stacy, Peter's best friends. Mary Jane is a teenage female about the same age as Peter and Gwen, she stands at 5' 6" with red hair and green eyes, she's got some freckles on her face and her skin. Gwen Stacy is a female standing at 5' 5" with blond hair and grayish-blue eyes, she wears her black headband as always.
"Gwen, Mary Jane." Peter smiled.
"Happy birthday Tiger." Mary Jane smiled.
Peter got up and walked towards them both. Peter and Mary Jane hugged, then Gwen hugged Peter after.
"These are my two best friends, the redhead is Mary Jane Watson, her friends call her MJ, she's my next door neighbor, I first met her since the day she moved in with her Aunt Anna. To tell you the truth, May and Anna secretly wanted to pair us up together since before we met. I always thought of her not good looking since I never met her, but as soon as I saw her, my view on her changed, she's beautiful, a lot of guys wanted to date her." Peter narrates.
"Happy birthday Peter." Gwen smiled.
"The blonde girl is Gwen Stacy, the smartest girl in Midtown High, I've met here through Harry since they've gone to elementary school together. Like Mary Jane, she's beautiful too, though she prefer to spend her times studying and getting good grades, kinda like me." Peter narrates.
"Thank you both for coming, it means a lot. Too bad Harry is still in Paris, I miss him." Peter smiled.
"Yeah, he's quite a lucky guy, being rich and all that." Mary Jane said.
"Anyway, me and MJ wanted to be here for you." Gwen said.
"Thanks, you're both the greatest friends I ever had." Peter smiled.
In the backyard, Peter and the others are outside as they're having a barbecue with Ben cooking. There's very few people at the party.
"Guessing that no one else is coming." Peter wonder.
"Knowing them, Flash, Liz, Kong, and everyone else is still at Rockaway Beach as always, enjoying the waves." Mary Jane said.
"Even if they're not, I'm not surprised, to them I'm just the Midtown Wallflower." Peter said.
"Peter, I'm sorry if we're the only ones here." Gwen said.
"It's okay Gwen, I'm use to it, being invisible. Besides it's enough to have you two here. That's all that matters." Peter smiled.
Peter's phone is ringing, he pulled it out and sees that Harry is calling for face video, he answered it.
"Hey Harry, I was wondering if you're ever gonna call. How's Paris these days?" Peter smiled.
"It's great, though Dad mostly focus on business these days. I'm at the Eiffel Tower getting the hood view of Paris, i think that I can see across the pond to your house, I see someone small in the backyard of Queens, he kinda looks like you." Harry joked and smiled.
"Very funny." Peter smiled. "So when will you be home?"
"As soon as Dad is finished, we should be back home before school starts. Someone needs to watch your back with Flash Thompson and the others jocks." Harry said.
"Hey." Mary Jane intervened and took the phone."Don't forget that I was the one watching both your backs."
"Of course, Mary Jane can take care of herself and others. Still the fiery redhead as always." Harry said.
"That's right, don't you forget that." Mary Jane smiled.
"Never MJ." Harry said as Mary Jane hands the phone back to Peter. "Listen I gotta go, promise to bring you a souvenir."
"Okay Harry, see you soon." Peter said.
"By the way, happy birthday Pete." Harry said.
"Thanks Harry." Peter smiled.
Harry hanged up, Peter and his friends got back to the party.
"By the way, have you heard about what happened to Tony Stark?" Gwen said.
"No, what about him?" Peter said.
"Apparently his helicopter crashed down somewhere in Asia, no one knows if he's alive or dead." Gwen said.
"Couldn't happened to a nicer guy. The Stark Expo is tonight and my uncle got us tickets to go." Peter said.
"Well, the expo is still on even though Tony Stark won't be hosting it tonight." Gwen said.
"It should be fun." Mary Jane said.
"Are you sure that you don't want to go MJ?" Peter said.
"I'm sure, I'm not really into science like you two are, no offense." Mary Jane said.
"None taken." Peter said.
Ben is at the grill as the wieners are cooked.
"Alright everyone, dogs are up!" Ben said.
"Do you kids want mayo or mustard?" May said.
"Mayo? Who puts Mayo on a hot dog?" Mary Jane wondered.
Sometime later after the barbecue is finished and the sunsets, everyone is inside about to celebrate Peter's birthday. May came out with a birthday cake with candles lit on.
"Happy birthday to you! Happy birthday to you! Happy birthday Peter! Happy birthday to you!" Everyone singed in unison.
"Make a wish Tiger." Mary Jane smiled.
Peter closes his eyes and thinks of a wish, he then blew out the candles, everyone clapped together.
"So what did you wish for?" May said.
"Aunt May, I can't say it or it won't come true." Peter said.
"Sorry, I forgot, don't jinx it. Okay, anyone wants cake?" May smiled.
Later as everyone enjoyed their slices of cake.
"Well Peter, me and May pitched in together to get you this." Ben hands a present.
Peter opens up the present and pulls out a new camera.
"Oh wow! This is perfect!" Peter smiled.
"We figured since photography is your hobby, you would like it." Ben smiled.
"It's perfect, thank you." Peter smiled.
"Why don't you test it out?" Mary Jane said.
"I have an idea." Peter smiled.
Peter set the camera on the table as everyone got together in front of the camera, he set it automatically for a shot.
"Alright everyone, smile!" Peter said.
Peter, Ben, May, Gwen, and Mary Jane all got together and smiled as the camera took the shot. Peter went over to see the shot.
"Well, how was it?" Mary Jane said.
"It's perfect." Peter smiled.
Ben check the watch and sees that it's 6:30 PM.
"We should get going, the Stark Expo is about to start soon." Ben said.
(Later Outside)
Peter came out of the house wearing a long sleeve shirt with a Stark Expo t shirt over it.
"Have fun at the expo." May smiled.
"That's the plan." Peter smiled.
Ben is already inside the car waiting for Peter and Gwen.
Ben honked the horn. "Come on, we're gonna be late!"
"We're coming!" Peter turn to May. "Bye May."
Peter gave May a kiss on the cheek as Peter and Gwen both got inside the car.
"You kids ready?" Ben said.
"We're ready." Peter said.
Ben drove the car as May and Mary Jane watched those two drive off. They're driving around in Forest Hills until Peter sees someone standing on top of a rooftop of a house they're passing by, it looked like a red haired female.
"Peter? Is everything okay?" Gwen said.
"Huh?" Peter turn to Gwen. "Yeah, everything is fine."
The car kept driving as the unknown individual is watching the car drive.
They all later made it to the Stark Expo in Flushing Meadows, they look through the car window as a lot of people are attending.
Ben's car stopped as Peter and Gwen are exiting.
"Alright you two, be careful and have fun on your date!" Ben smiled as he drives away.
"Hey! We're not..." Peter blushed a bit.
Peter was too late as Ben drove away.
"Sorry... he must've thought that you and I are... never mind. Shall we?" Peter said.
"After you." Gwen smiled.
Peter and Gwen attended the expo as they walked around and sees a lot of inventors and scientists showing off their work.
"Wow, this place is a gold mine." Peter smiled.
"You can say that again." Gwen smiled.
They arrived at the auditorium as a lot of people gather around, they've heard about the recent incident with Tony Stark. Taking the stage is Tony's secretary Pepper Potts.
"Hello everyone... my name is Pepper Potts... I'm sure that most of you are aware that Tony Stark is currently missing. I'm sorry to say that he won't be joining us this night to host this event. But I'm sure that he would want this expo to continue. As of right now, US intelligence and military officials are working to find Mr. Stark as we speak. Our prayers are to Tony, wherever he is. Until then thank you for attending the expo and have fun." Pepper Potts finished.
(Sometime Later)
Everyone continues the expo, Peter and Gwen arrived at the booth where scientist Reed Richards is unveiling his new invention, the fabric made from unstable molecules.
"As you can, this fabric can be used to adapt to the individual's needs, becoming like a second skin. Hopefully scuba divers or astronauts will find this product very interesting." Reed Richards explained.
"Wow." Peter smiled.
Peter took a picture as he and Gwen moved onto the next booth. They see another scientist Hank Pym demonstrating his invention, a gray helmet with antennas he's wearing.
"This is an EMP communications helmet, it replicates the same frequency that the ants uses to communicate with one another. In other words, I can use it to command the ants to do as I please. If I may demonstrate." Hank Pym said.
Hank brought some ants inside the terrarium and uses his device to communicate with them.
"Come out." Hank Pym commands.
The ants inside are obeying Hank's commands as they're crawling out onto the glass and climbing up. Everyone is amazed that the ants are following orders.
"Cool." Peter took a picture.
"This is only the first of many of my work, I'm already working on something that could be a game changer." Hank Pym said.
"What is it?" Gwen said.
"Sorry, can't say yet. My work is only a year or two from becoming a reality. But I can assure you that my work is promising." Hank Pym said.
Peter and Gwen smiled as they continue their tour around the expo.
"Wow, a lot of great idea all in one place." Gwen smiled.
"Yeah." Peter said.
Peter looked around and sees the same red haired woman in a coat wearing red shades. Peter walked towards her trying to get through the crowd as he came close. He gotten through but she was already gone. He's positive that it's the same woman he saw on the rooftop of someone's house, he wonders if she's following him as it's no coincidence that she shows up at the expo.
"Peter!" Gwen came to him.
"Gwen, did you see her?" Peter asked.
"See who?" Gwen said.
"Ah... never mind." Peter said.
They looked around and sees a booth where a man is showing off his work on spiders.
"Shall we see?" Gwen said.
"Why not." Peter said.
They went to the booth and sees the spider, though they're not like any they've seen before, they're red and blue.
"See something that caught you eyes?" Jonathan Drew asked.
"Uh yeah, never seen spiders like these before." Peter said.
"Well these are genetically modified spiders, not like any common spider that ever existed." Jonathan Drew explained.
"And you are?" Gwen wondered.
"Oh, we're are my manners, I'm Dr. Jonathan Drew, I'm a professor at Oxford and geneticist that specializes in arachnids, like spiders. These spiders right here are the result of taking certain traits of other species of spiders and combining them into theses fifteen super spiders." Jonathan Drew explained.
Gwen looked at the terrarium and noticed that they're only fourteen spiders inside.
"Ah, there's only fourteen." Gwen said.
"I beg your pardon?" Jonathan Drew said.
"Looks like one is missing." Gwen said.
Peter and Jonathan looked at the terrarium more closely and confirms that only fourteen spiders are accounted for. Unknown to them, one of the super spiders is loose and hanging above the booth.
"Huh? I guess the little bugger must've gotten loose." Jonathan Drew said.
"You think that it's still around?" Gwen said.
"Most likely it got squashed by the crowd. At least the others are still inside." Jonathan Drew said.
Peter looked what's next to the terrarium, it looked like. formula of some kind.
"Dr. Drew, what is this?" Peter asked.
"Oh, these are the chemicals makeup of the webbing they produce. We collect a sample from them and reverse engineered it, this is the result." Jonathan Drew explained.
Peter holds his camera. "May I?"
"Of course." Jonathan Drew gave permission.
Peter took a picture of the web formula, unknown to him, the super spider lower itself down from its web and got onto his back without him knowing it.
Peter's phone rang, it's Uncle Ben calling.
"Hey Uncle Ben." Peter said.
"Peter, it's almost 10 o'clock, I'm on my way back to pick you two up." Ben said.
"Okay, we'll be waiting at the pickup lane." Peter hangs up.
"Your uncle?" Gwen said.
"Yeah, listen we gotta go. Thank you for showing us the spiders." Peter said.
"Of course, have a good night you two." Jonathan Drew said.
Peter and Gwen walked away to be picked up by Ben, unknown to Peter, the super spider is still on his back.
The mysterious woman is in the crowd watching as Peter is leaving with Gwen.
"And so it begins." Mysterious woman said.
Ben picked up both Peter and Gwen from the expo and took them both home, but first they stop to drop off Gwen at her dad's house in Queens.
"Here we are, this is your stop." Ben said.
"Thank you Mr. Parker for the ride." Gwen said.
"Of course, I'm glad that you two had a great time." Ben said.
Gwen stepped out of the car.
"Bye Peter." Gwen said.
"Good night Gwen." Peter said.
Gwen went to her house as she enters it, Peter can't deny that he sure had a great time. Unknown to him, the spider crawled up to his neck and bit him.
"Owww!" Peter felt the bite.
Peter hits behind his neck and killed the spider.
"Peter, are you okay?" Ben looked worried.
"Yeah, I think that I was bitten." Peter said.
"Oh, i see." Ben smiled.
"See what?" Peter said.
"You have a crush on her." Ben smiled.
"What? No, no, she and I aren't... she's my best friend." Peter blushed embarrassingly.
"Hey, I'm not judging, I know May and Anna wanted to pair you up with Mary Jane who is pretty, but Gwen is just as pretty too. It's okay Peter, it's natural to feel this way for a girl." Ben said.
"I'm sure that it is, but Gwen and I are just friends. Could we just go home please." Peter still blushed.
"Okay, take it easy." Ben said.
Ben drives the car home while Peter is still in the back as he reach his hand around his neck. He held something in his hand, it's a spider. It's one of those super spiders from the expo that Dr. Drew demonstrated, thanks to him it's dead.
Later Ben and Peter arrived home to see May inside.
"Hi Peter, how was the expo?" May said.
"It was alright, listen I feel tired right now. I'm gonna sleep now." Peter said.
"Can you at least show us some pictures Peter?" Ben said.
"Yeah, I'll show them tomorrow, I promise." Peter walked upstairs.
Peter enters his bedroom as he began to feel something strange happening to him, he could barely keep his thoughts straight. He laid down onto his bed as he tries to sleep it off.
He began to feel pain in his body as it feels like it's on fire. Muscles in his arms are growing slowly as he's feeling the change to his body.
The next morning, Peter is still in bed after the rough night he had. The alarm clock rang as he hit the snooze button hard and broke it into pieces.
He got himself up as he looked around for his glasses. He found it and put them on, he sees a blur through them. He took them off and finds out that he could see better without them.
"Wow." Peter said.
He looked at his clothes he's wearing and noticed that they stink.
"Must've sweated too much last night, better get cleaned up." Peter said.
Peter went into the bathroom and took off his shirt. He got surprised by his appearance, he grew abs and muscles in one night. He's had slim figure with very little muscles before, but right now he has a lean but muscular figure. He touched his muscles and felt them hard.
"My god... they're real." Peter said.
The bedroom door knocked as May is outside.
"Peter!" May said outside.
"Yeah!" Peter said.
"Are you alright?" May said outside.
"Ah... I'm fine!" Peter said.
"Okay, breakfast is ready! Don't take too long!" May said outside.
"Okay! I'm gonna get cleaned up! I'll be there as quickly as I can!" Peter said.
Peter grabbed a towel for the shower he's about to, he hangs it up on a hook until it got stuck on his hand for some reason. He pulled it out of his hand. He couldn't figure out how that happened.
(Later Downstairs)
Peter came down as he felt happy as to the new changes that happened to him recently.
"Hey Peter! You seemed livelier than usual." Ben smiled.
"What do you mean?" Peter said.
"I don't know, you seemed different somehow." Ben said.
"Let's just say that I'm a new man today!" Peter smiled.
Peter sat down as he eat his wheatcakes.
"Do you want some juice?" May then tripped.
She tripped but didn't fell but the bottle of orange juice slipped off her hands but Peter reacted by catching it before it hits the floor, Ben and May are surprised that Peter caught it in time.
"Wow! Nice reflexes." Ben smiled.
Peter is surprised by his quick reaction time, it felt like he could sense the movement and move quickly that it seemed impossible for a normal human being.
The doorbell rang as Peter stands up.
"I'll get it!" Peter said.
Peter walked over to the door and sees Mary Jane outside the door.
"Hey MJ, what brings you by?" Peter said.
"I'm heading down to Rockaway beach to have some fun. I was thinking that you could come with me if you want." Mary Jane said.
"Thanks but I'm not really into beaches." Peter said.
"Peter, Mary Jane is inviting you out to have fun. You already had fun with Gwen last night, this time take Mary Jane out!" Ben smiled.
"He's right, don't turn her down." May smiled.
Peter smiled and sighed. "Okay, let's go."
"Thanks Tiger." Mary Jane smiled.
Peter left with Mary Jane as Ben and May are happy.
"Peter sure is a lucky guy, hanging out with two cute girls." Ben smiled.
"He sure is." May smiled.
Sometime later, Peter and Mary Jane arrived at Rockaway Beach as the rest of his classmates are enjoying summer vacation. He spotted Flash Thompson, Liz Allan, Kong McFarlane, Randy Robertson, Betty Brant, and Glory Grant.
Flash is a tall blonde hair teen, the others are Kong who is bulkier with bald head. Randy is African American of the same height as Flash and Kong.
"Here we are, Rockaway Beach. I see some familiar faces here. The big blonde guy is Eugene Thompson, many people call him Flash as he like to show himself off every time. He's plays football for Midtown High along with Randy and Kong. He sure enjoys showing himself off, not caring who he has to step on, including me, every time. He's basically your average bully." Peter narrates.
Peter sees Liz Allan in a bikini, she's of Latina heritage and very attractive, dark brown hair with brown eyes, she got tan skin.
"The girl next to him is Liz Allan, his girlfriend and one of the most popular girls in Midtown as well as the head cheerleader. Like Mary Jane and Gwen, everyone is attracted to her beauty. She can be as arrogant as Flash is sometimes but she has another side to herself, the kinder side." Peter narrates.
Peter turnsto Betty Brant and Glory Grant. Betty has brown hair shaped in a bob cut, and brown eyes. Glory Grant is African American, she's got short Afro black hair with brown eyes.
"The two ladies here are Betty Brant and Glory Grant, best friends. Betty has a talent in journalism, she works for the school paper along with Glory Grant, those two are inseparable." Peter narrates.
"It's this fun, the sand and the waves." Mary Jane said.
Mary Jane began to undress out in the open.
"Mary Jane! What are you doing?" Peter is shocked.
"Relax!" Mary Jane undressed, only to have a swimsuit underneath her clothes.
Mary Jane is wearing a black bikini.
"You're already dressed in your bikini." Peter said.
"I plan ahead, go ahead and show some skin, Tiger." Mary Jane smiled.
"No thanks." Peter said.
"Come on Tiger, don't be shy. I won't be bothered by your appearance, I promise."
Peter sighed. "Fine."
Peter pulled up his shirt off his body as Mary Jane is surprised by his new figure, he's got abs, he's all lean and muscular.
"Whoa! You got abs now! Have you been working out a lot?" Mary Jane smiled.
"Yeah." Peter lied.
Mary Jane kept staring at his figure as Peter noticed.
"Hey!" Peter snapped his fingers.
Mary Jane snapped back.
"Eyes up here!" Peter said.
"Sorry." Mary Jane blushed.
Peter and Mary Jane walked in the beach as Flash and the other spotted.
"Watson, Parker." Flash said.
"Eugene." Peter said.
"It's Flash, wise ass." Flash replies.
"You'll always be Eugene, 'Flash'." Mary Jane mocks.
"I like you, Mary Jane. Too bad me and you haven't dated." Flash said.
"Sorry Flash, I don't date bullies." Mary Jane stated.
"Right, I forgot, girl with daddy issues." Flash said.
Mary Jane has her fists ready as she felt offended by his words.
"Care to say that again... Eugene." Mary Jane looking mad.
Flash said nothing as he knows that Mary Jane is no stranger to violence. She can take care of herself against guys. She took self defense classes since she was twelve.
"You're lucky that I don't hit girls." Flash stated.
Flash and the other guys walked away to play volleyball. Peter got worried for Mary Jane as he could see that the subject about her father is very painful. Her father was abusive to his family, verbally at first until he slapped her mother in front of her. They never seen him again. After her mother died, she was placed under the care of Anna Watson.
"Are you okay, MJ?" Peter is worried.
"Yeah... I'll be fine." Mary Jane said.
"You know that fine stands for feeling insecure, neurotic and emotional." Peter smiled.
"Are you making fun of me?" Mary Jane smiled back.
"Just wanted to make feel better." Peter smiled.
"Thanks, I needed it. Shall we have fun?" Mary Jane said.
Peter and Mary Jane walked and joined Betty Brant and Glory Grant, they're both surprised by Peter's new appearance, all lean and muscular wearing nothing but jeans.
Glory whistled. "Dang! Didn't recognize you Parker."
"We like what we see." Betty smiled.
"Thanks... you girls want to play volleyball?" Peter wondered.
"Sure. How about it Glory?" Betty said.
"I'm game." Glory stands up.
Peter and Mary Jane team up to play volleyball against Betty and Glory. They started playing as Peter is moving fast to hit the ball. Betty and Glory are have a hard time scoring against Peter and Mary Jane.
They continue to play as Mary Jane and Peter are getting the upper hand as they scored the most points.
"Looks like we win." Mary Jane smiled.
Mary Jane and Peter high five one another.
"That was a great game." Betty said.
"Don't get too excited, we'll get you both next time." Glory said.
Peter walked away as he sure enjoyed having fun, though he's more surprised that despite that he did a lot of running while playing, he hardly broken a sweat, he still has a lot of stamina in him.
Peter continues to walk until he sees Liz at the back of the pickup as she's trying to unload the cooler off the truck, it's proven heavy even for her. Liz sees Flash still playing volleyball with the guys, she needs help.
"Flash! Help me out!" Liz called out.
"Sorry Liz! Got my hands full!" Flash continues to play.
"Jerk." Liz whispered.
Peter could see that Liz is still having trouble as Flash is still playing with the guys not do anything to help her.
Peter walked up to the pickup wanting to help out.
"Need help?" Peter asked.
Liz looked down and sees Peter volunteering to help.
"Yeah... this cooler is heavy, theirs like water bottles, sodas, and ice inside." Liz said.
"Allow me." Peter said.
Peter got up onto the pickup and picked up the heavy cooler, Liz is surprised that Peter could lift it without difficulty. Peter too is surprised by his new strength, he could pick it up with ease. He carried it off the pickup and walked back to the beach with Liz.
"Where do you want it?" Peter asked.
"Right here is fine." Liz said.
Peter lowered the cooler as Liz looked at Peter's new figure. She always thought of him as nerd but she's surprised by how good looking he is now, his eyes are pretty without his glasses.
"Liz?" Peter said.
"Huh?" Liz snapped out.
"Are you okay?" Peter said.
"Yeah... thanks for your help. Not a lot of guys are this nice." Liz smiled as she blushed a bit.
Kong is playing with the guys until he spotted Peter and Liz chatting.
"Hey Flash! Isn't that Parker chatting up with your girl?" Kong said.
Flash looked and sees Peter and Liz together talking, he couldn't help but feel jealous that someone is talking to his girl, especially Peter.
"He's got a lot of balls, that Parker." Flash looking mad.
He picked up the ball as he's prepared to throw it hard at Peter.
"Hey, take it easy Flash." Randy said.
"This is me taking it easy!" Flash replied.
Flash tossed the ball hard at Peter. Peter is still talking to Liz until he got a tingling feeling in his head, he reacted fast enough as he caught the ball with his hand. Everyone is surprised that Peter caught it with one hand, even Peter himself.
"Whoa!" Liz smiled.
"Hey, Parker! Can you throw the ball back?" Flash said.
Flash is waiting for Peter to toss the ball back. He decided to toss it back hard as it went flying and hits him in the head, Flash fell back.
"Oh my god! Flash, are you okay?!" Peter said.
Flash got himself back up on his feet as he got himself a black eye from the impact. He got angry at Peter for that toss.
"You're gonna pay for that, Parker!" Flash looking angry.
"Flash, leave him alone! It was an accident!" Liz protest.
"Stay out of this Liz! You don't have a say in this!" Flash raised his voice.
"Hey! Don't talk to her like that!" Peter protest.
"Well, well, Puny Parker is showing some backbone. That's rich." Flash smiled.
Flash shoved Peter back a bit.
"Don't do that." Peter said.
"Or what?" Flash said.
Peter isn't gonna fight Flash in a public place though that's not gonna stop Flash from trying. Flash threw the first punch fast until Peter reacted and caught his fist. Everyone is shocked that Peter stopped Flash's fist, he began to squeeze a bit, making the bones in Flash's hand crack a little, Flash feels the pain as he yelled.
Peter could see that he's hurting him, he lets got of the fist. Flash pulled back as he felt the pain in his knuckles. Peter could see that he's much stronger than before, if he squeezed some more, he could've broken Flash's hand.
"I'm sorry Flash." Peter apologize.
Peter walked away as Flash went to the cooler to put some ice on his hand. Mary Jane could see Peter leaving the beach, she follows after.
"Peter!" Mary Jane ran to him. "What happened back there?"
"I don't know." Peter said.
"Peter, you caught his fist so quickly, it looked like you were crushing it." Mary Jane questioned him.
"I know." Peter continues to walk.
"How did you do that?" Mary Jane said.
"I don't know!" Peter protest.
Peter couldn't believe that he raise his voice at Mary Jane.
"I'm sorry MJ... I just need to be alone... I'm sorry." Peter ran away.
Mary Jane stayed behind and watched as Peter is running away out of the beach. She's worried for him, he's been different today, she can't figure out what.
Peter managed to run out of the beach and into a street until a car came coming in, he jumped higher than he ever thought possible, he looked down at the car that passed over him, he landed on a three point stance behind the car.
"Whoa." Peter is shocked.
He ran out of the street as he found an alley to hide. He found out today that he's faster and stronger than ever before, he couldn't figure out how this happened. He then looked at a spider web hanging nearby. He remembered that yesterday he got bitten by one of those super spider from the expo.
"That spider bite, it must've given me powers." Peter said to himself.
He decided to test out his clinging as he touched the wall, it cling. He climbs up some more as he continues to climb higher than before. He looked down at the alley and smiled.
"This is so cool." Peter smiled.
Peter returned home after the day at Rockaway Beach as Ben and May found Peter without a shirt on.
"Hi." Peter said.
"Peter, what happened to your shirt?" May said.
"Oh! I must've left it at the beach. My bad." Peter said.
"Have you been working out a lot?" Ben said.
"Yeah." Peter lied.
Peter then went upstairs to his room. He closed the door as he couldn't exactly tell them what happened to him. He couldn't explain that an experimental super spider gave him powers beyond his dreams. Now that he has them, what is he gonna do with them.
(Outside the Parker Residence)
Unknown to him, the same redhead female from yesterday is watching the Parker house from across the street.
"You have powers now Peter, you're destiny has begun." Mysterious woman said to herself.
