Thomas was at the front yard with his dad, playing cricket, while the girls were playing inside at the playing room, with Chilli doing some chores. At that moment, Bandit was teaching Thomas to bat the ball. That was a sport Bandit wanted so much to share with his son and when he finally asked him to teach him, he couldn't be happier.

"Okay, son, eyes on the ball" Bandit said, while holding the ball.

"I know, Dad, don't worry, I'm ready" Thomas said, holding a cricket bat.

"Very well, here it goes…" Bandit replied.

And he bowled the ball to Thomas who prepared himself to bat. But, unexpectedly to him, the ball bounced and went on a different direction than he expected, causing him to fail to bat it.

"No fair!" he exclaimed, stomping his foot. "You made the ball bounce!"

"Sorry, mate, but I already told you that bowling is not like pitching" Bandit said, while approaching Thomas and taking a knee and putting a hand on Thomas' shoulder. "It will take you a little more struggle to get used to cricket batting, but I'm sure you'll get great at it."

"Are you sure?" Thomas asked.

"Of course!" Bandit replied. "You're a Heeler, after all! The fact you're a good baseball player just confirms it. Just a few more attempts and I believe you'll get the hang of it."

"Thanks, Dad" Thomas replied, smiling.

"Don't mention it, mate" Bandit said, while rubbing his hand on his son's head. "That's what dads are for. Now, let's keep practice. Just be careful to not hit the windows. You won't believe how easy it is do it here…"

Bandit went to get the ball and he and Thomas positioned themselves to try again. But before they could do any more attempts, they heard the sound of a motor that belonged to a motorcycle that stopped right in front of the Heeler house. The dog that was on it was wearing a helmet and a leather jacket and gloves and he dismounted the motorcycle, taking the helmet off. It was revealed that he was a husky with red and white fur and blue eyes. Seeing him, a big smile appeared on Thomas' face.

"Uncle Prince!" he exclaimed, running towards the new-arrival dog.

"Oh, Prince…" Bandit sighed, not very enthusiastic.

Prince: THIS EPISODE OF THOMAS IS CALLED "PRINCE"

"Hey there, shorty!" Prince replied, while going for a hug to his nephew, proceeding then to give him a noogie. "So, did you miss your favorite uncle?"

"Hey, stop!" Thomas exclaimed, while laughing, freeing himself from his uncle. "You know I hate that… and also that you call me shorty"

"But you are short… compared to your big and strong uncle, that is" Prince replied, teasingly.

"You'll see that it's not going to be for long" Thomas replied. "I'm going to get as big as you. But… I am curious about one thing. What are you doing here… in Australia?"

"I was wondering the same thing" Bandit said, while approaching.

Prince turned to Bandit, adopting then a serious face. He approached him, showing that he was a bit bigger than him, much like how Rad was.

"Bandit…" Prince said, with a serious tone.

Both grown-ups looked at each other very seriously, what caused Thomas to get a little worried. But this all proved to be for nothing as Prince came to express a big smile and extend his arms, saying:

"What are you doing there?! Give me those bones, little bro!"

He went to give Bandit a tight hug proceeding then to give him a noogie, just like he did to Thomas, but rougher.

"I bet you miss me, hein, blue head?" Prince asked, teasingly.

"Hey, let me go, Prince!" Bandit replied, while freeing himself. "Thomas is not the only one to not like those noogies of yours."

"Come on, Bandit, don't sour on our little greeting" Prince replied.

"Wait, you two know each other?" Thomas asked, surprised.

"Know each other?" Prince asked, while putting an arm around Bandit's shoulders. "Kid, your dad and I were friends even before he started dating your mom."

"Really?" Thomas asked.

"You bet, he is like the little brother I never had" Prince said.

"A little brother that would have appreciated a heads up before you could show around" Bandit replied, while taking Prince's arm off him.

"What can I say, I suffered a little injury so I took some days off from the team" Prince replied. "I guess that's the price for being the star quarterback. So… I decided to come visit my nephew and my old friend."

But Bandit continued to stare him with a stern look.

"Come on, Bluey, aren't you happy to see me?" Prince asked.

That caused Thomas to look at his dad, confused.

"Bluey?" he asked.

"Yeah, that's what I used to call him back in the day" Prince replied. "Isn't that right… Bluey?"

"Prince, don't call me that…" Bandit replied, embarrassed. "Especially because that's my daughter's name now."

"Wow, you used to be much more fun-loving…" Prince commented.

Bandit sighed and said:

"I just wished you could have told me you were coming. Have you forgotten that…"

However, Bandit stopped himself from ending that phrase, as he looked to Thomas. The young pup couldn't help but notice that his father was hiding something from him. However, he didn't know what that thing was or if it was about him, so Thomas decided to not say anything.

Prince realized what Bandit was trying to say, but, in response, he just replied:

"Come on, Bandit, you worry too much. Why don't we enjoy this moment? Hey, kid, what were you two doing?"

"Playing cricket" Thomas replied, showing his uncle his cricket bat.

"Oh, right, I forgot you both love to bat balls…" Prince said. "Thomas must have taken that from you, Bandit. Hey, I have an idea, why don't we play your other favorite sport: touch football. That at least is close to the best sport ever. Or we can play some real football… American style."

Bandit sighed and said:

"You really haven't change a bit."

"Come on, Bandit, it's not like you to refuse to have a little game" Prince replied.

But Bandit continued to give one of his looks to Prince. Realizing Bandit would not stop to be like that until he did what he wanted him to do, Prince sighed. He turned to Thomas and told him:

"Hey, kid, I… have something to tell you."

"Wow, you got really serious right now" Thomas commented. "But can we do it inside? I wanted you to meet my sisters. They are great and I bet you'll love to…"

But before Thomas could say anything else, the entrance door opened, with the girls and Chilli appearing that and Bluey exclaimed, when she saw Prince:

"Uncle Prince!"

She went on and give a big hug to Prince.

"Oh… hey there, kid…" he said, a little embarrassed.

Thomas got completely caught off-guard with that. How is that possible that Bluey knew his uncle… even more calling him uncle.

"Wait, you know… my uncle Prince, Bluey?" Thomas asked.

"Your uncle Prince?" Bluey asked, turning to her older brother. "No, silly, this is my uncle Prince. He's dad's old friend."

"Yeah, he's also Bluey's cool godfather" Bingo added, as she and Chilli approached.

Thomas couldn't hear what he was hearing. His uncle, his mother's brother, was also… Bluey's godfather? And she even called him uncle Prince. He looked to his uncle and then to his father, both expressing severe expressions.

It was then that Thomas to start to feel a big strange feeling in his belly. He didn't know how to explain it, but it was a mix of anger and frustration that he was trying to contain, but it was impossible to do it. It was like the more he tried to contain it, the stronger the feeling got until he couldn't contain it any longer.

"You… What?!" he asked angrily, turning to Prince. "You have been in contact with my dad this all time?! And… you're even Bluey's godfather?!"

"It's… complicated" Prince said. "Please, Thomas, you need to understand…"

"I need to understand what?!" Thomas asked. "That not only mom kept me from knowing my dad for all my life, but that also my uncle, the one that I've known since always, has been secretly visiting my father and his family for all these years?!"

He then turned to his father, saying:

"And you… You knew about this?! You… always knew about me?"

"No, Thomas… I didn't know…" Bandit tried to say.

"No, I don't want to hear it!" Thomas exclaimed, while covering his ears with his hands. "You'll only lie to me! All of you will only lie to me!"

Having said that, he started running to inside the house, probably to his room.

"Thomas, wait!" Bandit called, following him.

Both Bluey and Bingo were very confused about all that situation.

"Mommy, why did Thomas got very upset with Daddy and Uncle Prince?" Bingo asked.

"Yes, and why did he said Uncle Prince was his mother's brother?" Bluey asked.

"Well, girls, it's a long story" Chilli replied. "Why don't we talk about it inside?"

The girls nodded and went back inside. Before following them, she turned to Prince and asked him:

"Are you coming to, Prince?"

"I don't know if I should" he replied. "Thomas… seems to be very upset with me."

"Maybe, but he is a good boy and, if you explain to him your side of the story, I bet he will come to understand… eventually" Chilli said to him. "But for that you need to face him… and the sooner you do it, the better."

Prince realized Chilli was right and so, taking a deep breath, he went to take out his jacket and gloves, putting them in his motorcycle's top-box, and followed her inside, hoping to be able to fix his relationship with his nephew.

Note: I hope you have enjoyed the first part of this story. As you can see, a new character has been introduced with that being Prince Huskin, Emily's older brother, who is one of Kodiwolf321's character. For those who know Prince from Kodiwolf321's stories, this may be a little confusing about the way he is at this story, especially his relationship with Bandit. The truth is I decided to go with a different approach with him. Prince is still a badass, but with a calmer temperament and the reason for this (along his relationship with Bandit) will be more explored in my series Bandit.
