That Was Quick
Many thanks for the reviews on my other recent works, it is very much appreciated. Thanks also for the constructive feedback and support.
Just another silly little drabble written just for fun. Happy Easter to those who celebrate it. Stay safe!

'Well that was quick.' Della Mason let her tongue moisten her lips provocatively.
'Sorry about that.' Perry Mason shrugged his shoulders. 'That's what happens sometimes when the kids are in the house and you have to make sure they don't catch you.'
'Yeah,' Della agreed.' Not much satisfaction either way.'
'Oh I don't know baby. We just have to decide whether it was worth it.'
Della slid herself from the desk onto her husbands lap, her arms snaking up about his neck pulling him closer.
'Hmmm,' she purred planting tiny kisses on his jawline. 'I think it was worth the risk. It's just that it didn't last long.'
'You complaining?' He groaned as her breath blew lightly across his neck.
'Not at all. I just think next time we need to make it last much, much longer.' Her tongue darted out to his ear lobe.
'But,' he was starting to lose his train of thought, 'Any longer and we could get caught. You know how embarrassing that could be. Ahhhh, good God woman…..'
'Then lock the door next time. Hmmmnn you taste good Mr Mason.'
'Oh my Lord.' The voice from the door snapped them back to reality. 'Really? It's the middle of the day for pete's sake.' Perry Mason Junior stood at the study door leaning against the frame, his arms crossed and shaking his head in adolescent disgust. He sighed heavily. 'Tom is looking for his easter egg. He noticed it wasn't with the others.' Junior's eyes narrowed when Della shuffled herself around to look at him. 'You two wouldn't know where it went do you?' His tone was now accusatory.
Perry and Della looked at each other and shook their heads. 'No, no idea at all,' they both said at the same time as innocently as they could muster.
'Have you tried the kitchen cupboard?' Della ventured as a suggestion.
'You know,' Junior sighed, 'You two would be a lot more convincing if you both didn't have chocolate on the edges of your mouth. I bet you've hidden the wrapping in your desk drawer.' He turned to walk away. 'Can I give you some advice?' He didn't wait for an answer. 'Buy yourselves an easter egg instead of stealing one of ours every year and then having to replace it. It's much easier in the long run, you'll give yourselves a stomach ache snaffling it that quick so we don't see you. Jeez, it's not like we don't know what you two do!' Junior left with an exaggerated shake of his head.
''Told you it was too quick We should have bought Tom a bigger one.' Della said softly. 'We'll have to go to Mr Hessell's confectionary store first thing and replace it.'
'Perry does have a point though.'
'What, about buying our own instead of being naughty? Although in our defence it was chocolate with mint.'
'Nope, about the other thing he said.' Perry grasped Della's hand and brought it to his stomach where she rubbed gently.
'Aw, daddy has a tummy ache?' she teased.
Perry pouted and gave her his best sad look and nodded his head. 'He does and knows exactly what to do about it.' His hand drifted to her knee as he leaned in and planted a kiss on her throat. 'And if we can get that study door locked, I can assure you the cure certainly won't be as quick as eating the purloined chocolate egg!'
