I loved the Nicktoons games, and Battle for Volcano was the first I ever played. I hope that in the future, a new adventure game will appear. And I also hope that the TMNT will appear too as they did in the comic of Butch Hartman characters looking for their creator. Now, I've decided to make this story but with Ash and some of his friends.
In the middle of the ocean, beneath the darkened skies, there was an island with a volcano in the center. And above the volcano, there's an ominous purple storm crackling with evil.
A little far up ahead of the island, connected by a few tiny ones, at the end of it there seems to be performing some sort of ritual, and present there were three big Hermit Crabs. Two of them were chanting while the old one with a wooden staff stood and watched.
?: (Chanting)...
Old Hermit Crab: We can wait no longer. It is time.
The old Hermit Crab looked at the nine head statues that were circling around in the air. Besides three, all six head statues had smaller heads floating close to them that resemble different creatures.
Old Hermit Crab: Only the nine can save us from the evils of… the Mawgu.
Saying this, the old Hermit Crab looked at the the storm on top of the volcano, which seemed to respond to his intent as it crackled with energy
The Mawgu: Fools! You cannot stop me! This world… is mine!
The Mawgu entity that's residing on top of the volcano launched a purple lightning bolt straight at the ritual, but the old Hermit Crab tried to hold it back with his wooden staff.
Old Hermit Crab: Not… yet… it isn't!
But despite the old Hermit Crab's best efforts, the purple lightning affected the ritual. The result was that the circle was broken, and the statues were sent flying to the different corners of the island. The Hermit Crabs were shocked at this as the sky turned back to normal due to the ritual being ruined.
Hermit Crab 1: Oh no!
Hermit Crab 2: He has broken the circle! The heroes will be lost!
However, the old Hermit Crab wasn't worried however.
Old Hermit Crab: Not lost. Just scattered. And not all of them: look!
Looking up at the skies, two figures along with two creatures were falling from the sky.
?:AAAAAAAAAAAHH!
The four landed hard on the ground. But they got back up with only a few bruises, the same is with the yellow Mouse and the tall Rabbit.
Ash: Wha? Goh? What just happened?
Goh: Beats me. Last time we were in Cerise's Lab, and then, we ended falling from the sky here.
Ash: Where is here anyway?
Old Hermit Crab: A place far from home, Pokémon Fighter.
Ash and Goh and their Pokémon now realized they weren't alone as the three Hermit Crabs watched calmly.
Ash and Goh: AAH!
Old Hermit Crab: Calm down, I'm not your enemy.
The two calm down once they know that the strange creature in front of them is not an enemy.
Goh: Okay… then who are you anyway?
Wise Old Crab: I am the Wise Old Crab, and I have summoned you here: for a purpose!
Hermit Crab 1 and 2: Hoooo!
This caught both Ash and Pikachu's interest.
Ash: Purpose?
Pikachu: Pika?
Wise Old Crab: Long ago… an Evil Spirit that called himself the Mawgu desired to rule Volcano Island, our home, as well as the whole world itself!
Goh: Volcano Island?
Both him and Ash turned around and the volcano with the storm still swirling above.
Wise Old Crab: He was stopped by being imprisoned in his lair inside the volcano.
Ash and Goh then looked back at the Wise Old Crab as he continued.
Wise Old Crab: But now, our ancient enemy - the Mawgu - has escaped from his prison, and seeks vengeance!
The storm above the volcano rumbled at this.
Wise Old Crab: He has created a terrible ooze that corrupts everything it touches. But the legend of our people says that you - the Chosen Ones - can save us!
Hermit Crab 1 and 2: Haah!
Ash and Goh were surprised at this, Goh even more than Ash.
Goh: Us?! But… how do we save you?
Wise Old Crab: You will know, Pokémon Catcher: you will know. But first, you must find all of your friends. United, you will triumph!
Hermit Crab 1 and 2: Hoo haah!
Wise Old Crab: Please stop that.
The Wise Old Crab now is annoyed with the chanting.
Wise Old Crab: You two, go back to the village and tell everyone that the Chosen Ones are here.
The two Hermit Crabs immediately left as they dug on the ground. The Wise Old Crab then turned to Ash, Goh, Pikachu, and Cinderace.
Wise Old Crab: Now follow me, and I will take you to a safe place where you can camp.
Without any choice, Ash, Goh, and their Pokémon followed the Wise Old Crab towards the island. In the way Goh was finding this hard to believe.
Goh: I can't believe this is happening. Us, Chosen Ones? There has to be some sort of mistake.
Ash: I wouldn't be so sure about that, Goh.
Goh turned to Ash, who surprisingly is taking all this calmly.
Goh: What do you mean by that, Ash?
Ash: Well… You see…
So Ash told Goh everything about the prophecy involving him during the crisis in the Orange Islands.
Goh: Wait, so you're telling me that you saved the world during the Orange Islands Crisis, and it was because you were mentioned in a prophecy?!
Goh found this hard to believe, but Ash told him it was the real story.
Ash: I found it hard to believe it at first but it's true. I had to bring the three treasures from the islands and bring them together so the fight between Articuno, Moltres, and Zapdos could be stopped. Now that I think about it, that was the first crazy thing I've ever done since I had to go between three angry Legendary Pokémon.
Goh thought about it and imagined being himself in the crossfire, and was hit by the three Legendary Birds attacks which caused him to shiver. They then stopped as the Wise Old Crab turned to them as they reached the edge of the water.
Wise Old Crab: I'll move ahead underground since I'm too old for this. But be careful, there are many dangers on our island, you must defend yourself!
With that, the Wise Old Crab dug underground, leaving the group alone.
Ash: How did he do that?
Goh: Must know how to use Dig just like some Pokémon do.
The duo and their Pokémon jumped to the next island and continued on ahead. They then stopped as they saw in front of them a group of strange Bird-like creatures on the beach.
Ash: What is that? Some sort of Pokémon?
Goh: I don't think so. Since we're literally in another world they might not be Pokémon at all.
The Birds then noticed them and suddenly they began attacking them.
Bird: (Squak)...!
Ash: Whoa!
Goh: Ah!
Ash and Goh managed to dodge their pecks in time.
Goh: What's the matter with them?
Ash: I don't know. But if they want a fight they'll get one! Pikachu, use Thunderbolt!
Goh: Cinderace, Quick Attack!
Both Pikachu and Cinderace attacked and the Birds were hit by a Thunderbolt and knocked unconscious by a Quick Attack. Ash and Goh approached the defeated Birds that had swirls in their eyes.
Ash: I wonder why they attacked us like that?
Wise Old Crab: It's because they're infected by the Mawgu's ooze.
Ash, Goh, Pikachu, and Cinderace: AAAAH!
The group were surprised at the Wise Old Crab appearing out of nowhere as he approached one of the Birds and lifted one of their wings.
Wise Old Crab: Do you see beneath this Bird's wings?
Beneath the Birds wing was a purple rash that seems to be glowing. This surprised Ash and the others.
Goh: Wait, is that the ooze that you told us about?
The Wise Old Crab: Yes. The ooze not only corrupts and makes them aggressive, but it will also turn them into slaves of the Mawgu. Now you kids know that you must be careful around this stuff.
The kids and their Pokémon nodded as they realized the dangers of the ooze now. The old Hermit Crab then left them alone again as they continued on their path towards the island. But then Ash noticed something above the sky.
Ash: Hey, what's that?
Goh looked up ahead and that something was coming out of the volcano… and straight towards them!
What landed in front of them was a vehicle, and it wasn't the only one as many more landed in the way, including a Bus.
Ash: Where did all of these cars come from?!
Goh: They all came from that storm on top of the volcano!
The kids and the Pokémon looked at the storm as many things seemed to be falling from there, including in the ocean waters around them.
Goh: Where did all of this come from anyway? They're more like from our world instead of here.
Ash: We'll figure it out someday. Right now we must keep going on.
Ash with Pikachu in his shoulder easily climbed on the car and Cinderace jumped. They both turned to pull Goh up.
They continued on ahead until they reached another island. But then Pikachu and Cinderace suddenly entered their battle stance as they looked around.
Suddenly, four creatures rose from the ground. They are chubby and seem to be made out of sand. Their large arms are covered in purple rashes and their eyes are glowing purple as well.
Ash: What are those?!
Goh: I don't know! But it seems they have the Mawgu's Ooze as well!
Ash: In that case we have to fight them! Pikachu, use Thunderbolt!
Goh: Cinderace, use Double Kick!
Pikachu launched a lightning bolt at the Sand Monsters, but the attack didn't do anything to them at all. While one of the Sand Monsters blocked Cinderace's kick with one of its arms.
Ash: Oh man, they must be Ground Type!
Goh: And they're very strong too!
The Sand Monsters then attacked our heroes, but they managed to dodge out of the way.
Ash: It doesn't matter how strong they are, we will win, right Pikachu?
Pikachu: Pikachu!
Goh: Heh, you're right, Ash. Let's do this, Cinderace!
Cinderace: Cinderace!
Ash and his friends are ready to fight back.
Ash: First we have to round them up! Pikachu, use Quick Attack!
Knowing what Ash meant by that, Pikachu began running around the Sand Monsters until they were all huddled in one spot.
Goh: Our turn, use Pyro Ball!
Cinderace kicked a ball of fire like a Soccer player and hit the Sand Monsters, engulfing them in an explosion of fire.
Ash: Alright! Pikachu, use Iron Tail!
Goh: Cinderace, Quick Attack, Go!
Pikachu hit the Sand Monsters with his hardened glowing tail while Cinderace used his quick speed to deliver the finishing blow.
Goh: Alright, we won!... Huh?
Ash, Goh and their Pokémon became surprised as the Sand Monsters disintegrated into sand. The group approached the spot where they once stood.
Ash: What happened to them? Where did they go?
Wise Old Crab: Allow me to explain.
Ash, Goh, Pikachu, and Cinderace: AAAAAH!
The group became surprised at the Wise Old Crab appearing out of nowhere again.
Wise Old Crab: The Mawgu's Ooze not only has the power to corrupt others, but they can also create monsters from the elements around them.
Ash and Goh were surprised at this new information.
Goh: So those Sand Monsters were…
Wise Old Crab: Creations and servants of the Mawgu. You must defeat them everytime you see them.
The Wise Old Crab then dug underground again and left the group.
Ash: Hey wait!
Goh: I don't really like when he surprises us or leaves us like this.
Ash and his friends continued on, though they met a few obstacles on the way. They were nearly flattened by a car, Cinderace almost got his rear bitten by a shark, Ash nearly sinking in the water when the Turtle he stood dived, and being pelted by eaten fish from birds.
The group took a breather after going through all that after finally reaching the Island.
Goh: We made it!
Ash: Man, it was ruff going through all that.
Suddenly, the sandy ground shook and then something roze from the sand.
Ash: What 's that?!
The small volcano then started spouting glowing purple ooze everywhere on the sandy beach.
Goh: It's spouting the Mawgu's Ooze!
Ash: That's not all, look!
From the spot where ooze landed, the sand stirred and Sand Monsters rose from the ground.
Ash: It's creating Sand Monsters!
Goh: Can't we catch a break?!
The Sand Monsters begin their attack and Ash and Goh quickly fight back.
Ash: Pikachu, Iron Tail!
Goh: Cinderace, Blaze Kick!
Pikachu and Cinderace took care of the Sand Monsters, but the Ooze Spout were still creating more monsters. Now there were more Sand Monsters than before!
Goh: There's more Sand Monsters than before!
Ash: We've gotta destroy that Ooze Spout!
Suddenly, Ash then remembered something.
Ash: Of course! I still have my other Pokémon with me!
Ash quickly took out a Pokeball and called his Pokémon.
Ash: Come on out!
A Sand Monster was just about to hit Pikachu… only for it to be blocked by the shield from Sirfetch'd.
Pikachu: Pikapi!
Pikachu was glad to see a fellow friend as Sirfetch'd cut the Sand Monster in half with his leek sword.
Ash: Sirfetch'd, let's beat all these Sand Monsters!
Sirfetch'd: Sir.
Sirfetch'd nodded as he and Pikachu got ready to fight.
Goh: If Ash is going to use his other Pokémon, then I'll use… huh?
Goh realized that he didn't bring any of his Pokeballs.
Goh: AAAH! I LEFT ALL OF THEM AT THE LAB!
Cinderace: Cinder!
Cinderace warned Goh as a Sand Monster managed to pass through and went after Goh. But just before it reached him it was pushed back by a jet of water.
Goh: Huh? A Water Gun?
Goh turned to where the Water Gun came from, but there was no one there… until someone appeared out of thin air. A certain Chameleon Water Pokémon.
Goh: No way… Drizzle!
Drizzle gave Goh a small smile. Then a green Monkey appeared on Drizzle's back.
Goh: And Grookey too!
Grookey: Grookey!
Both Drizzle and Grookey joined Goh as Cinderace came to their side too.
Goh: Alright everyone, let's go!
The group and their Pokémon then began their attack.
Ash: Sirfetch'd use Fury Cutter!
With multiple swipes of his leek, Sirfetch'd cut down a huge number of Sand Monsters.
Goh: Drizzle, use U-turn!
Drizzle hit two Sand Monsters with his glowing yellow.
Goh: Grookey, Razor Leaf!
Grookey fired glowing sharp leaves that slashed the Sand Monsters.
Goh: And Cinderace, end it with a Pyro Ball!
Cinderace kicked the ball of fire, and the explosion defeated the remaining Sand Monsters… until the Ooze Spout was preparing to make more again.
Ash: Oh no you don't! Pikachu, use Thunderbolt!
Pikachu: PikaaCHHUUU!
What a powerful lighting bolt, the attack hit and destroyed the Ooze Spout, preventing anymore Sand Monsters to be created and allowing Ash and Goh to have a break.
Ash: We did it.
Goh: Yeah, somehow we did.
Wise Old Crab: And that's why you two are the Chosen Ones.
Ash, Goh, Pikachu, Sirfetch'd, Cinderace, Grookey, and Drizzle: AAAAAAAAAAH!
The group screamed again at the Wise Old Crab unexpected surprise, yet he was still unfazed by their shouts.
Wise Old Crab: Come on, the Dragon Whisperer is up ahead.
The Wise Old Crab walked ahead, although Ash and Goh were confused by what he said.
Ash: Who's the Dragon Whisperer?
Wise Old Crab: Why it's a friend of yours.
Ash and Goh were surprised to hear that.
Up ahead, a Sand Monsters was thrown on the ground, before being crushed by the feet of a large Dragon Type Pokémon.
Haxorus: Haxorus!
Iris: Nice done, Haxorus!
It was Haxorus and Iris( in her normal clothes).
Ash: Iris! Haxorus!
Pikachu: Pika!
Iris and Haxorus turned around and saw to their delight, Ash, Pikachu, Goh, and their other Pokémon.
Iris: Ash! Pikachu! You're here!
Ash: Yeah, and so do you!
Pikachu jumped from Ash's shoulder and landed on Haxorus' head, which he finds nice.
Iris: Do you guys have any idea what's going on?
Goh: It's kind of an interesting story…
Ash: We were summoned here to save the world from an evil guy called the Mawgu!
Iris sweatdropped a little as she didn't get any of that.
Iris: Eh…?
Wise Old Crab: One hero has been found, and there's more to go.
Iris was surprised at seeing the Wise Old Crab simply passing by.
Iris: Who…
Goh: We'll you on the way.
And with that, Ash, Goh, and now Iris in the group as they followed the Wise Old Crab to a safe place, all while the storm on top of the volcano continued rumbling.
This is the dome for the first chapter. You know, a few characters in this game haven't got their Chosen One names revealed. So for Patrick Star he's called the "Lazy Star", how does that sound?
