Hello everyone, and welcome to a new RWBY fanfic I like to call Three Teams, One Huge Adventure. I know I'm making new fanfics and hardly continuing with the ones I have, but I promise this will be one of the last brand new ones. Anyways, this fanfic will have a new team of first years, alongside teams RWBY and JNPR, and it will start around the Fall of Beacon. Hope you all enjoy.
We are in a huge arena, where there is a huge crowd present watching and waiting for the One-on-One matches of the Vityl festival to begin. In the crowd waiting is a team of three females and one huge nerdy, yet muscular, male. They attend Beacon Academy and these four make up Team PRDT (Peridot).
The first female of of the group had sandy blonde hair with golden yellow specks in it, making it look like pixie dust. She was also an attractive young lady, too. She was wearing lavender lipstick, lavender eye shadow, is 5'9 and had very light blue eyes, as she was blind. On her body, she wore a lavender blouse, black skinny jeans and lavender sneakers with white soles. Her weapon is a sniper rifle that can turn into a two-handed battleaxe, which the blade for the ax is on the bottom of the barrel of her sniper. The name of the weapon is called Ripper Chrysalis. This is Pixi Dust, leader of Team PRDT. Her Semblance can make her turn into an actual werewolf-like creature that has fur covering her eyes.
The next female is a skunk Faunus, which you could tell by the big, bushy tail sticking out behind her. She has black, shoulder-length hair with white streaks, brown eyes and tanned skin. She wore a fuchsia muscle shirt that showed her midriff, fuchsia jeans and grey sneakers. She was the shortest of the team, being 4'9 and had wide, yet thick hips and thighs, with a big butt. Her weapon was a big, fuchsia sword, which had segmented blades, which had it turn into a whip-like sword. The weapon was called Alto Capricornus. This young woman is Raj Raldo. Her Semblance is that she can create smells that can be good or bad, which the bad smells can be useful for combat.
The third and last female of the team had blonde hair that went down to her mid-back, is 6'7, has yellow eyes and a very beautiful face. She wore a yellow and white button up blouse tucked into her blue jeans, a brown belt, brown cowgirl boots and a cowgirl hat on her head. Her weapon is a one handed sword with a yellow scheme, and the sword can turn into a yellow fan when it's sheathed. This is Dandelion Nella, and her weapon is named Solar Venus. Her Semblance can let her control flora to help in battle.
And the last teammate is a big, hulk of a male. He has brown hair and goatee covering his chin, teal glasses for his eyes and his eyes were green. He wore a white button up shirt, a teal sweater vest, blue jeans and steel-toed boots. He was 8 feet tall and, despite looking like a nerd, was pretty muscular. His weapon was a huge pair of teal scissors that could transform into a shotgun with one of the blades of the scissors under the barrel. This big guy was named Tealle Lazu, and his weapon was named Blaster Quartz. His Semblance let's Tealle control tech based things and be good with tech in any way.
We see Tealle was sitting on the ground, on his laptop while waiting for the one-on-one match to begin. Luckily for him and everyone there, the first round for one-on-one was starting, which the first two randomized people to face each other were Mercury Black and Yang Xiao Long.
The two fighters came out and everyone cheered, waiting for a good fight from the brawler and kick boxer.
Once the signal for the fight to begin went off, both Yang and Mercury went all out with the kicking and punching, each trying to one-up the other. Just then, Mercury got a good hit and knocked Yang to the ground.
"Wow, Yang got knocked down." Pixi said.
"I wouldn't count her out too early." Tealle told his teammate in a deep voice.
Mercury, thinking Yang was out, decided to turn around and do an early celebratory victory. While he was celebrating in his own head, thinking it was too easy, Yang had gotten back up and activated her Semblance, making her violet eyes turn red and her hair gain fiery flare to it.
Mercury heard this, turned around, and cursed to himself in his head. Yang then rushed toward him and starts punching him at double the damage he was kicking her at, while she fired fire dust rounds from her weapons, Ember Celica. She kept at it until Mercury's Aura had gotten low and he was declared out.
Down in the ring, Mercury had slowly gotten up and angrily attacked Yang with a flying kick, which she sensed and defended herself by punching his leg, making him fall to the ground, screaming in pain.
"Ah, my leg! I think it's broken!" he yelled. Unknown to everyone but Mercury and his team, his legs from the knee down were prosthetic and could be used as guns. His teammate, Emerald, rushed over to Mercury, pretending to be concerned for her teammate.
"Somebody, call an ambulance!" Emerald called out. Yang tried to walk over to see if she could help, but she then got surrounded by Atlas soldiers, pointing their guns at her.
"Freeze!" One of them shout. Yang was confused as to why she was being surrounded and having guns pointed at her, until she looked up to see one of the screens in the stadium, to see that Mercury was offering her a handshake and she attacked him for no reason.
"Wait, I'm innocent." Yang pleaded, which the soldiers didn't believe her.
"We said freeze!" said another soldier.
"What an unfortunate circumstance for Miss Xiao Long." Doctor Oobleck said over commentary.
"Yes, and she was one of my favorite students." came the voice of Professor Port. Just then, another voice came in over the speakers.
"Wait! I'm sorry for coming onto commentary with you, Professor Port and Doctor Oobleck, but I just found out that the video that is showing isn't real." came the voice of Tealle.
"What do you mean it isn't real, Mr. Lazu?" Doctor Oobleck asked.
What I mean is that someone put this video over what really happened. What I found was the original footage of what happened after the fight." Tealle said, as he put up what really happened after the fight. Everyone in the stadium saw Mercury attacking Yang, and the Blonde Brawler defending herself. Then all the soldiers focused their attention to Mercury and Emerald and pointed their guns at them.
"What's the deal, kid?" one of them asked.
"Yeah. Couldn't deal with losing that you had to use a sneak attack after the match was over?" another asked.
Just then, a loud screech was heard and everyone looked up to see a Griffin flying somehow in the arena. Everyone was both confused and terrified at how it got in. That was a perfect distraction for Emerald to hoist Mercury over her shoulders and get away unnoticed. As soon as they were gone, the Griffin had somehow disappeared as fast as it had appeared, making everyone confused. During the confusion, one of the guards noticed Mercury and Emerald not where they left them.
"Call General Ironwood, tell him we got some escaped troublemakers." one of them said, as he and some others went to go look for the two bad guys. Yang was left in utter disbelief, as she was about to be framed and even disqualified from the tournament. She had to thank Tealle later for the save.
In the corridors of the stadium, we see Emerald hauling Mercury on one shoulder, as he was using his good leg to help. As they were trying to escape, they heard a 'psst', as they saw a door with a feminine hand directing them to the door. They walked through the door to see their boss, Cinder Fall.
"What happened out there?" Cinder asked, with slight anger in her voice.
"We were doing what you asked of us." Emerald said, inching back a little.
"But that Lazu kid ruined the plan." Mercury said.
"Whatever. Let's just go with plan B." Cinder said, as she walked off, with Emerald and Mercury following.
We are now at the Beacon dormitories, where General Ironwood was talking with Team RWBY.
"I am glad you girls weren't disqualified from the tournament." The General said. "If it weren't for your friend, you surely would have."
"Don't worry, General. We will be thanking them personally." Ruby said.
"Yeah, if it weren't for our friend, Tealle, then I would have been toast." Yang said.
"Well, hopefully you will have more good luck the further you get into toe tournament." Ironwood said, as he made a small bow and left.
As soon as he left, Team PRDT entered the room, which Tealle had to duck to enter.
"Hey, how you ladies doing?" Raj asked.
"A lot better. Thanks for the save back there, Tealle." Yang thanked.
"Hey, it's what friends do for each other." Tealle said.
"So, what did General Ironwood wanna tell Y'all?" Dandelion asked, as she had a southern drawl.
"Just glad we weren't disqualified from the tournament." Weiss said.
"And he wished us luck further in the tournament." Blake added.
"That's good." Pixi said, then added. "At least you didn't get in trouble."
"Yeah. wonder what happened to Mercury and Emerald after what had happened?" Ruby asked.
"I don't know, and I don't want to find out." Weiss said.
"Me neither, since they almost got you girls disqualified." Tealle said.
"We should go. Team JNPR is next, and I want to see who Pyrrha fights." Raj said.
"Yeah, let's go watch P-money fight her opponent!" Yang excitedly cheered, as she got up and headed straight to the door.
"Huh, never seen her this happy." Blake said.
"What would you expect? She was pretty much just saved from disqualification." Weiss said, as she and the rest of team RWBY got up and headed to the door with team PRDT.
"Ladies first." Tealle said, being a gentleman, as the rest of his team and the ladies of team RWBY left before him. The group head to the arena, which Weiss and Tealle in the rear of the group.
Back at the arena, everyone there was seated, along with teams RWBY and PRDT. Also seated were the rest of team JNPR, as Pyrrha was on the battlefield about to face Penny.
"Welcome back, everyone. We're back after that little incident, which Atlas soldiers are looking for the dastardly culprits." Professor Port said, then added. "Now, let's get to the fight between miss Pyrrha Nikos and miss Penny Polendina."
As everyone was waiting for the battle to start, Emerald was watching from atop the dome, totally unseen by everyone. Pyrrha and Penny took their places on the battlefield.
"3, 2, 1, begin!" Doctor Oobleck exclaimed.
Pyrrha and Penny charged at each other with their weapons, Penny with Floating Array and Pyrrha with Milo and Akouo. Up above, Emerald was using her Semblance on Pyrrha, trying to have her see illusions.
Meanwhile, Ruby was on her way back to the fight from the girls restroom, when she was encountered by Mercury who had quickly fixed his leg.
"Hold it, red. You aren't going anywhere." Mercury said.
"What?! But I thought you were on the run?!" Ruby shouted, then added. "Also, wasn't your leg broken?"
"My legs are prosthetic's, and my weapons of choice. Now, I can't let you leave yet." Mercury said.
Ruby activated her Semblance, as she covered herself in red rose pedals and moved very fast, trying to get past Mercury. Mercury gave a fast kick, as he hit Ruby, sending her back on her butt. Ruby tried using her Scroll to call for her locker, but Mercury shot it with his boot guns
"Sorry, can't let that happen." Mercury said.
As the battle commenced with Penny and Pyrrha, the illusions started to kick in for Pyrrha. At first, she saw her weapons bend, which she 'fixed' with her Semblance.
Next thing she saw was when Penny was across from her, as she saw the girl's Floating Array go from 10 to 100, as they launched towards her. Pyrrha used her Semblance, Polarity, to send the weapons back. As she did that, the strings of the Floating Array wrapped around her left arm and waist, crushing them and sliced Penny to four pieces.
This had everyone gasp in shock, disbelief and a little disgust. "No!" Port said, as he saw what happened.
Team PRDT, along with the rest of teams RWBY and JNPR, stood up in shock at what had happened. They all knew Pyrrha would never go as far as killing someone, she was too kind and noble for something like that.
Back with Ruby, she had gotten past Mercury to see Penny laying in pieces in the ring.
"No..." Ruby said, as she fell to her knees, with tears in her eyes.
Up with Emerald, she left, knowing her job was done.
Back in the ring, Pyrrha was too stunned in disbelief at what transpired.
Just then, all the transmission screens changed to two shades of red, with a symbol of a chess piece. Then, a female's voice came through.
"This, is not a tragedy." said the woman, then she added. "This was not an accident. This is what happens when you hand over your trust, your safety, your children, to men who claim to be our guardians." We then go to a view of Cinder standing on one of Beacon's rooftops, talking through her scroll.
"But are, in reality, nothing more then men." Cinder had said, as we then see General Ironwood got up in disgust, and most of all, anger that this had happened under his nose, as he went off out of the stadium.
"Our academies headmasters wield more power than most armies, and one was audacious enough to control both. They cling to this power in the name of piece, and yet, what do we have here. One nation's attempt at a synthetic army, mercilessly torn apart by another star pupil. What need would Atlas have for a soldier disguised as an innocent little girl? I don't think the Grimm could tell the difference."
"And what, I ask you, is Ozpin teaching his students? First, a dismemberment, now this? Huntsmen and Huntresses should carry themselves with honor and mercy, yet I have witnessed neither. Perhaps Ozpin felt as though defeating Atlas in the tournament would help people forget his colossal failure to protect Vale when the Grimm invaded it's strengths. Or perhaps, this was his message to the tyrannical dictator that has occupied an unsuspected kingdom with armed forces?" During this, a lot of scenes change. Going from teams RWBY and PRDT, to team JNPR, to even Ozpin in his office.
"Honestly, I haven't the slightest clue to who's right, and to who's wrong. But I know that the existence to peace is fragile, and the leaders of our kingdoms conduct their business with iron gloves. As someone who hails from Mistrel, I can assure you, the situation there is...equally undesirable. Our Kingdoms are on the brink of war. Yet we, the citizens, are left in the dark. So I ask you, when the first shots are fired, who do you think you could trust?" We go to another scene, where a couple of Atlas guards are watching, as some Beowolves and Ursa Grimm come out of the forest, as they turn around and start shooting at them.
We then head back to the Amity stadium, where there were alarms going off. "ALERT! INCOMING GRIMM ATTACK! THREAT LEVEL, 9! SEEK SHELTER IN A CALM AND ORDERLY LINE!" This causes a lot of panic, as a lot of people were fleeing in terror.
Just then, General Ironwood's voice came over the intercom. "Ladies and gentlemen. Please, there is no need for panic."
As he said that, a huge Nevermore flew in and gave a huge screech, as it was trying to get through the stadium's defenses.
"A Nevermore?!" Sun asked.
"How did it get passed the kingdom's defenses?" Coco asked after.
"It wasn't alone." Ren said.
"Pyrrha!" Jaune yelled. "Pyrrha, that thing is gonna break in! You gotta move!"
The Nevermore gave another screech, as it was pecking at the force field protecting everyone. It then flew up and dive bombed at the shield, as it broke through, landing in front of Pyrrha and an upcoming Jaune, which the force of the landing blew them back. This got Pyrrha out of her daze, as she saw the huge bird-like Grimm in front of her and charging to attack her, until Ruby came in and stabbed it with one of Penny's Floating Array's. She took out the sword and landed a distance from the Nevermore.
"Ruby..." Pyrrha said, still a bit dazed from supposedly killing Penny.
"Leave her alone!" Ruby yelled to the Nevermore.
The Nevermore gave a screech, as it flew up into the air and starts heading to the two girls, to which Ruby was ready to use the sword again. Just as the Nevermore was about to strike, a bunch of lockers came striking down onto the Grimm, knocking it out with one final screech from it in defeat. Just to add insult to injury, a huge purple sneaker came down and crushed the head, as it and the body turned to dust. Ruby and Pyrrha looked up, just to see Pixi giving them a salute, as she shrunk down to normal size.
"We aren't letting you have all the fun, Ruby." Pixi said, as everyone got their respective weapons. Ruby then looked down to Pyrra.
"Ruby, I..." Pyrra started to say, but then looked down at the cloth of Penny's shirt in her hands, as her eyes filled up with tears. She then looked back up at Ruby and said, "I'm so sorry."
"Me too, but it wasn't your fault." Ruby said.
"She's right." Jaune said, as he walked up to his teammate and friend. "Whoever was on the microphone, they're the ones that did this. But we have to make sure they don't take anyone else." As Jaune said that, he handed Pyrrha her weapon and shield, as she took them.
They both looked to Ruby, as she looked to see a big group of Huntsmen and Huntress' in training, which included the rest of team RWBY, the rest of team JNPR, team PRDT, team CFVY, team SSSN and a bunch of other students. Everyone then heard the sound of wings, as they look up and see a hoard of Griffin's.
"Griffons." Ren said
"Anybody got a plan of attack?" Neptune asked.
"Raj, I need your scroll." Ruby said, as Raj used her skunk tail to toss his scroll to her. She used the scroll to call her locker, as it came down and opened up. She then tried to get Crescent Rose, but a Griffin landed on the locker and let out a roar.
Just as the Griffon was about to attack, a shot was fire at it, making it fly off. We follow the source of the shot, where we see Port and Oobleck there, Port having his gun pointing at the spot the Griffon was at.
"Students, I think it would be best for you to leave." Port said, as he put his gun down.
"But we can-"
"Ms Rose. This day will surely go down in Remnant history." Oobleck interrupted. "I'd prefer it if my students could live to tell about it."
Ruby nodded, as she grabbed Crescent Rose and left the stadium with the other students.
I think I will leave this off as the first of two parts. I promise the next chapter will have a lot of action, and Team PRDT will shine the next chapter. Anyways, I hope you enjoyed this introduction chapter to this story.
